I am absolutely livid with Happy homes Swansea (llansamlet). My elderly stepfather ordered a new bed but had to cancel very early on after ordering, it took them 6 weeks to pay back the money into his account. After myself chasing fir weeks. They said that they had called me which they didn't . I had to take the receipt in forvthem to pay eventhough they had all the details.
Once I was in the store they took 20% off us which equated to £120 for doing nothing eventhough we had cancelled in time. £120 off and elderly gent on benefits.
The man which we dealt with was absolutely abrupt rude and the tone of his voice was disgusting.
I hope happy homes are really please with themselves.
We will never ever be dealing with them again this will also go on social media.

Table and chairs

Not used them before, product was just what I needed so gave it a go and ordered online.

They followed up with a phone call with an actual person to confirm everything, including a delivery date.

delivery was from in house drivers, proffesional and friendly. it arrived on time and undamaged (rare these days).

Product was better than I imagined. WIll definitely consider using them again. Maybe it's because they are a "local" company that the service was so much better than what you usually get when you buy off faceless internet companies.

Didn't have to wait too long for my order, unfortunately I had to take a day off as they couldn't give me a time for delivery and I live further than half hour from my job as they would have rung me half hour before they were due. But it was actually 15 minutes

Very competitive pricing and immediate stock availability in store.

Had a Super King Size Bed delivered. Sadly the middle support legs were faulty. Was told that we would have to wait a week for replacement legs to be delivered. Because we lived 34 miles away that was considered ''out of area''. Happy Homes do not appear to know what customer service is. When I called the store, Gerald told me that the Manager was on a day off and then went on to explain to me that she deserved to have a day off! He then told me that it was ''not his fault''! We just wanted somebody to take ownership of the issue. Eventually the Area Manager, Jason, called and said just to put the mattress on without the middle leg support or put it on top of the middle legs that were clearly too high. This would have caused damage to the £800 mattress! Jason did suggest coming to collect the replacement leg but refused to compensate me for my time! Why could he not have offered to refund me the delivery charge in return my time in coming to collect the legs. After 2 days I called the Manager and asked if she could put the replacement legs in the post. Sadly the legs took 3 days to arrive, the request was made on Wednesday but the legs were not ''posted' until Thursday and arrived on the Friday. Having spent 3 nights sleeping on the floor I volunteered for overtime at work purely so that I could spend the night in a hotel bed! Did ask for compensation but Jason just laughed in my face, twice! For that week our house was not a ''HAPPY HOME''. Issues occur in business every day, 9 times out of 10 it is not the issue that becomes the problem but the way the issue is managed or in this case not managed. The manager did say in one conversation that Jason was going to refund our delivery charge , just rang the Manager to claim the £50 back but she has since gone back on her word. Because of this issue we would not be able to recommend this company.

Have bought several pieces of furniture preciously and have always had a good service and furniture is great quality. This time went shopping with a family member and bought bedroom furniture. The staff were not pushy, answered all our questions and gave us time to decide. Luke then helped to order what we wanted. Great service, friendly and approachable staff.

Had an overall great experience here, would recommend to anyone looking for furniture.

DS Furniture crosshands were great on arrival they were really approachable I bought the Oak 2 and 2 + draw Cupboard and side table Annaghmore kilkenny which was ready built. The staff were helpful and helped with me arranging collection at an easy time they also made sure it would fit in my car to avoid any issues on collection day. I would highly recommend the service and products. Prices in store were excellent and it has good quality furnisher I would say to visit their stores. I also went to the Swansea store where they were also helpful and I bought a mirror 180cm!

Went to the cross hands store this morning looking for dinning room chairs, although they only had one they found another two in their CARDIFF Store, although I could only have three I will definitely be back there again for another similar chair, a really good bunch of people working there very very helpful and pleasant.
IF THERE WAS A FIVE STAR RATING I WOULD GIVE THEM FIVE NO PROBLEM.

Lovely warm atmosphere at the establishment with friendly helpful service. The staff were helpful in checking stock availability and lent us tape measure for our needs. We purchased a coffee table and matching Nest of two smaller tables. We will return again because of the quality you had at this store and Staff helpfulness.

Very happy with the service provided. Was asked if I needed any help whilst looking for a sofa. Ceri was very helpful and answered all my questions. Sofa was delivered promptly and the delivery drivers were very helpful too. Great service by all

We purchased corner sofa and dining table with chairs. We visited the Crosshands store on a number of occasions, the staff were very understanding of our requirements and advised on products that we had not considered, WITHOUT BEING PUSHY AT ALL. We have received the table & chairs, which we love and the quality is outstanding for the price tag. Pop along to the store if you are looking for any furniture….you will be surprised at the stock they hold. I will never use the national/chaining furniture stores again. Thank you guys for all your help x

Wardrobe flimsy compared to other wardrobes I have ordered before else were. I had paid for them to be built. Not happy and won’t be ordering from here again
