Fraudulent company please avoid. Paid for the year subscription and never received the access info to get into it. Customer service won't reply either. I feel I got screwed over and out of pocket now by £40 absolutely disgusting fraudulent online company.

HMA a cessé de fonctionner. Après avoir suivi les préconisations d'usage, toujours rien. Le service client sollicité, aux abonnés absents: aucune réponse. Ah si!Combien d'étoiles pour le SAV? Bref, j'ai changé de VPN en urgence, même si j'avais encore un abonnement. Je suppose qu'ils ne me rembourseront pas. HMA n'est plus ce qu'il était. A éviter donc.

Scam VPN , not use , they charge money then you can never access your account and cancel subscription. Technical support not responsive at all. The worst VPN service ever.

One of the very popular providers and I used their service in past but now residential IP works better than any vpn.

Cancelling subscriptions.

I wanted to put this out there as I see many have had the same issue with HMA VPN customer service and cancelling.

After reading through all my emails, I found that to cancel, you need to go through the payment provider. If I assume its the same for all of us, you have to find the email that contains the transaction information from 2Checkout .. From there you can manage your subscription. Hope that helps others.

HMA war mal gut, jetzt unterirdisch... kein kundensupport, keine antworten, nix und nada. nicht mal neues pw reset funktioniert... verd nochmal wie soll ich dann mein abo kündigen....

Le service payé à l'année cesse de fonctionner au bout d'un mois.
Il n'y a aucune réponse à toutes les tentatives de les contacter. Ils n'ont plus aucun SAV.
Paypal a refusé de me rembourser car "la commande a été faite il y a plus d'un mois". Comme c'est commode !
Fuyez cette entreprise comme la peste.

Worst "customer service" I have ever dealt with.

I bought the VPN for a whole year and logged into my phone without a problem. I have a subscription for multiple devices, so I wanted to login to my PC as well.

I can log in with the same username and password, but in the PC app, it says I have no subscription.

I contact the customer service 3 times over a month, I get the "thank you for you email" auto reply, and then nothing happens.

HMA is 100% a scam, do NOT USE THIS.

Very bad product. Stopped working on all devices. Then doesn't let you login.

Customer service is non existent - emails are just ignored.

Ich bin von HideMyAss enttäuscht, da keine native Unterstützung für Linux angeboten wird. Für einen VPN-Anbieter, der sich als professionell und umfassend vermarktet, ist das nicht mehr zeitgemäß.

Gerade technisch versierte Nutzer und Entwickler setzen häufig auf Linux und werden hier komplett außen vor gelassen. Für mich ist das ein klarer Minuspunkt. Solange es keinen offiziellen Linux-Client gibt, kann ich den Service leider nicht weiterempfehlen.

Not for advanced users. The biggest problem with HMA (Hide My Ass) is false country locations / IPs. They claim and offer you to select an IP from many "exotic" countries, however these are all fake. For example you have the option to select Australia, New Zealand, Israel, etc., but in reality you just get assigned a German or Czech IP, for example. At least I do (based in Central Europe). So basically false advertising.

Support liest keine Tickets. Wartezeit bei meinem Fall aktuell ein Monat. Buchen ab wie sie denken via 2checkout. Paypal käuferschutz hilft bei dieser Firma nicht. Kündigungen interessiert sie nicht

I strongly advise everyone to stay away from HMA (HideMyAss).
My experience with them has been absolutely terrible and feels like a scam.

I disabled automatic renewal on their website, but they still charged my PayPal account automatically through 2Checkout (Verifone) without my consent.

I immediately contacted their support team multiple times through email and the official website — no response at all for several days.

During my trial period, their VPN service didn’t even work properly — I couldn’t connect to any servers, and the speed was extremely poor when it did connect.

Their refund policy claims that users can request a refund within 30 days, but they completely ignore refund requests and never reply.

This company’s practices are misleading and unethical. They take your money, ignore your emails, and provide a product that doesn’t even function properly.

J'utilise le VPN "HMA VPN" sur un iMac, sans problème depuis plusieurs années, mais hélas, une mise à jour de leur appli a été faite la semaine dernière par HMA VPN. Depuis cette mise à jour, il y a maintenant 6 jours que mon VPN ne fonctionne plus. J'ai adressé 3 demandes d'aide au support technique HMA durant ces derniers jours, je n'ai obtenu, à ce jour, aucune réponse. Donc très déçu de HMA VPN !!!!

Have been with HMA VPN for several years. The last time I renewed my contract was on January 10th 2022, for three years plus extra months. It is due for renewal on the 22nd October 2025. However, I have had several problems with HMA VPN in the past. Over a week ago, I could not use HMA to download files over the internet at all, contacted support for assistance, and received no reply apart from an automatic reply email saying somebody would be in touch to assist. As this has not happened, I will not be renewing and have joined Nord VPN, so please read the star rating on Trustpilot before joining HMA VPN and save yourselves problems.

Tried to sign up for a free trial, they would not let me, it would not load, tried logging in with my details, it said I did not have any subscriptions, I had no emails, yet they took £59.88 out of my account, scum.
