Hocho-Knife レビュー 

My parcel was apparently stolen; I never received the item. Heard nothing from this company and no replies to my emails. I paid a customs charge on these stolen items too.

Terrible customer service and treatment of people who paid there hard earned cash for something special and faced with nothing other than contempt.

After quick research online I decide to treat myself with a Japanese Damascus knife of hocho knives website. After almost a year of normal household use knife handle developed play and then i notice there was a opening of the handle. Looked like its been 2 pieces glued together.
At this moment i contacted Hocho knifes and explain situation. They answer that the only way to return it is within 14 days of the purchase and there is no warranty due nature of use of knives.. I understand that but this is totally unacceptable that this '' high quality Japanese '' knife start falling apart within a year. And I am a professional chef so know how to take care of my knives.
A week later play of the handle got worst so i decided to split handle open and glue it back in.
I was shocked to discover that the engineering process behind this knife is extremely poor and seem like a quick , cheap production line rather then a quality product. The metal part that goes into handle was very very short , maybe a third of the handle size, and been glued into. Such a poor design will never last ! I seriously doubt this is genuine Japanese knife .
Blade steel so far seem fine, but afcourse with poor handle and manufacturing blade is useless.
In summery , Will never buy again from Hocho knives website , and do not recommend to anyone using it due my experience with customer service and mainl quality of product.
