Karen and Nicola both went above and beyond to help chase up solicitors, brokers etc to aid in completion. They were always available when needed and gave some great advice. Thank you Hodders, will definitely recommend!

Hodders were competent and helpful from the beginning, responded quickly to what I asked, and were great at progressing the sale when required.

I purchased my home through Hodders in 2021 and had a positive experience. When I needed to let my property for rent recently due to a relocation, I naturally returned to Hodders. I picked up a business card to follow up after my trip.

Unfortunately, I lost my wallet while traveling abroad. Incredibly, the finder noticed the Hodders business card inside and contacted Addlestone branch. They promptly called me to inform me of the lost wallet and assist with its return. Thanks to their quick action, I was able to recover my wallet.

I am truly grateful for the honesty of the person who found my wallet and the helpfulness of Hodders Addlestone team. It’s reassuring to know there are such kind and diligent people out there!

I would like to say Nicola was very professional and extremely helpful to make moving as stress free as possible ty kindly for doing as much as possible to get this move over the line.

Our sale became a difficult one, but Karen in particular was instrumental in getting it over the finishing line. She was always bright and cheery, but professional and proactive at all times. All the staff at Hodder's were also helpful and friendly.

From the beginning of viewing a property to eventually purchasing, each individual from Hodders from the Chertsey and Addlestone branch that we have dealt with have been absolutely fantastic. In particular Robert, Stuart and Shelley who saw us through the whole journey. Hodders are the first estate agents that we have dealt with who actually appeared interested in us and us purchasing a property. The whole process felt much smoother working with them all. Hodders made my first house purchase as smooth as possible by providing great recommendations for viewings in the first instance along with constant communication throughout the process. Karen from the Addlestone branch was amazing and always made sure the purchase was moving along by chasing and communicating with any third parties and was so supportive the whole time, couldn’t have done it without her!

Karen does not do the big sell, promising prices that cannot be reached and timelines that will not be met, her experience as an estate agent is obvious and her direct professional approach kept you informed of what was happening at all times and she made you feel heard, you had a query or concern she was ready to listen and advise. Exactly what I wanted in an estate agent.
Karen and the team at Hodders were always at the end of the phone, always courteous and happy to answer any queries or make suggestions.

In January 2024, the family home needed to be sold to fund Mum's care home fees. As I live 150 miles away from this property, it was imperative that I chose the right agent to sell the house. Out of the three agents I contacted, Karen Harper from Hodders, Addlestone impressed me with her market knowledge, suggestions of how to sell the family home of 53 years and empathy. Internal family issues meant it was not going to be a straightforward sale but Karen managed to find a buyer within a very short space of time. She then managed the expectations of the buyer and more importantly my need to have consistent and timely feedback on how the sale progressed. Hodders handled all aspects of the sale including recommending a locksmith. Suffice to say, from accepting the offer to completion, the sale was completed in just over 11 weeks. To me, this was outstanding service by Hodders, Addlestone but primarily Karen. It's not often that Estate Agents are complimented or praised, but I would have no hesitation in recommending Hodders to anyone! Thank you so much.

This agent will do anything to gain a property let. Their staff lie to perspective tenants and Landlords alike.
The tenant will be promised anything to sign an agreement without this being agreed by the Landlord.
I unfortunately chose them to manage my property and it has been a complete nightmare. Now trying to cancel the agreement and being threatened with legal action. Whether you are a Tenant or Landlord stay well away !!!

Hodders Addlestone - I am DELIGHTED to get the opportunity to write this review because when someone/company does EVERYTHING possible to make your experience with them a positive one I don't know about you but I feel like shouting it from the roof tops.
Rob is The Manager at Hodders Addlestone and a more genuine guy I am yet to meet. Now that's not something you expect to hear about Estate Agent's for a start is it but seriously I felt like Rob had our back from the second he came over to view our property. If you want an estate agency to blow smoke up your #### and tell you your house is worth a fortune then contact someone else...go ahead and use someone else but at the end of the day....you have to ask yourself the question...DO YOU WANT TO SELL YOUR HOUSE FOR THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT THE CURRENT MARKET IS WILLING TO PAY FOR IT? If you do then these guys will deliver. Rob wasn't interested in giving me a ridiculous over inflated FOR SALE price just so we went with their agency he wanted to give me the best possible price to put it on the market for that HE felt knowing the current market that it could sell for. He stuck by that philosophy throughout and he was right to do so. Let me tell you these guys (including the wonderful Karen, Alex, Caitlyn, Paul and more) don't just show interested parties around your house....they do so much more than that....they do their upmost to find out what it is the customer is looking for, if they are unsure on the house, what can the seller do to improve, do they think it's value for money etc etc. Armed with all this information there is so much scope for negotiation. As a seller...continuously tidying your house to an inch of it's life, making your family busy so that people can come and view it etc etc...would you rather an estate agent says...."oh we haven't heard back" or "they just said it wasn't for them" OR "they just felt the kitchen was not going to be big enough" or "they can't afford it at the current price as they will need to get a new bathroom in straight away". Armed with this information you could then discuss a possible price negotiation. Hodders were WONDERFUL for finding out as much as they could from the interested party. ALSO I have been on the other side too when I have viewed properties with them that they are trying to sell. Many Estate Agencies show you around, shake your hand and then say they will be in touch. Hodders...they get to work straight away getting 1st hand feedback about the visitors thoughts so that they can go back to the vendor with information about what they thought of your house. I spoke to Hodders a lot as with no fault of theirs at all the sale on my house was really slow. Not once did I feel a nuisance or that I was taking up their time. They were nothing short of a wonderful agency and I would absolutely recommend to ALL OF MY FRIENDS & FAMILY without hesitation. Extremely professional and polite throughout. It has been a pleasure.
