Mark was friendly and very helpful in ordering our kitchen cupboard door. Would highly recommend.

Item is obviously second hand. Packaging has been opened and not very well repaired. Item is dirty where it has been handled. Bought as a birthday present so it's disappointing and I don't have time to return.

Homebase products unfortunately are manufactured poorly . Out of all the various products I purchased over the last 12 to 18 months like kitchen taps , soft close toilet seat internal door handles all have had to be replaced . If I do go to my local Homebase I certainly will not be buying Homebase own products again , just sticking to well established branded items .

The cashier was very helpful. There was no questioning why I took so long to return product. I felt comfortable.

Ordered on line am collected later in the day absolutely no problems at all . Well done Homebase

The assistant gave us the wrong order and when we advised her that she had given us eggshell rather than emulsion they didn’t have the correct item in stock …. We will be able to collect the remainder of the order in 3-5 days

Went to click and collect counter 2 members of staff one dealing with a customer other just stood leaning on counter.After 5 minutes asked him if this was click and collect reply yes but no offer to help waited further 5 minutes then finally another member of staff passing offered to help not impressed. Well now I am impressed Ian Shenton a Manager took the time to ring me and explain his disappointment of my experience renewed my faith in their Customer Service.

Visited the Newcastle under Lyme store to return an item. I was asked by the male member of staff if I still had a receipt or proof of purchase. I admitted that I didn’t and so simply said “ok” and walked to the door. I left the faulty electrical items on the counter. The staff member was applying the letter of the law and this I accepted. The matter was closed as far as I was concerned. I was almost through the door when he said “are you just going to leave that there?” in a sarcastic tone. Why oh why didn’t he leave the matter as I’d practically left the store. Instead I returned to the store to suggest he may wish to notify head office of a potentially dangerous electrical product. Remember other customers were listening to this conversation. “No, it’ll just go in the skip” he said.” I replied “but shouldn't head office be notified?” Sarcastically he then said “no, we won’t send it back to China.” Homebase remember you’re not cheap compared to online stores. The one thing you need to offer is a polite service or more people will go online.

I went in today to pick up my click and collect. What a quick turnaround from ordering to picking up my order. I wish every store was as good as Homebase! I wouldn’t use any other shop for DIY Thank you thank you thank you for such a great and easy transaction.

The Person in charge at the Newcastle Under Lyme store was very rude on the 3/12/23
Collected some Christmas lights I had ordered (needed more lights already had some)
Took them home one box a different colour than the other 2 even though they were the same lights same description
He was really rude and would not acknowledge that they were different coloured white

Customer service was very efficient collected my item and was very impressed with both members of staff that dealt with my order.

Quite expensive but good choice of DIY easy parking but could do with having a few more staff in store it takes a long time to get through the checkout especially on a Saturday afternoon.
