Terribly Inconsiderate and Inept Company
Looking online for a product their site came up offering something potentially appealing, but no price was listed. I tried calling and had to wade through several minutes of stupid (and irrelevant) recordings before getting a person to talk to. I cursed the store's pitiful treatment of customers, whereupon the girl warned me not to swear at her. I corrected her and said my anger was directed at the store's poor management, (which it clearly was) not her, whereupon she hung up.

Picked up a couple of things from Home Depot recently. The product matched the description, which is not always a given these days. Unfortunately one item arrived damaged and the replacement took a while. Would consider them again if the issues get sorted.
Unbelievable logistical planing
I placed an order on the 18th, which stated that the delivery window was between June 21st and 27th. Now we are in the delivery window, I still haven't received an email with an estimated delivery date. I called the store and then transfer to a call center, but they also had no information. The customer must waiting patiently until they decide to send a tracking number, even though it's within the delivery window. You can't plan your days, but if you don't pick up the merchandise within 48 hours of its arrival at the store, they return it. What kind of service is this? They still don't even have an estimated delivery date.

All I got from this experience was STRESS, no items that I ordered, a double charge and they try to explain it all away and REFUSE to fix THEIR MISTAKE...while I'm out $900 and complete ignorance from Mike the Customer service supervisor. Absolutely disgusting...no wonder this company has a 1.8 rating...NEVER AGAIN AND I WILL MAKE SURE NOONE I KNOW USES THEM EITHER. HOME HARDWARE ALL THE WAY.

Ordered a griddle for my husbandâs barbeque for Fatherâs Day on a Wednesday. On homedepot.ca it said I was going to get free delivery on Thursday. On Thursday I received an email saying I was going to get delivery on Sunday. Sunday is Fatherâs Day, so that was still fine. On Saturday I receive an email saying my order had been canceled. Apparently, they donât have the product anymore even though on the day, I ordered it, the product was at the store. Call the store to speak to the manager and she said they donât have that product and she doesnât remember the last time they sold one?????? This place is an absolute joke. DO NOT ORDER FROM HOMEDEPOT.CA.
No help from store clerks
As an older woman (who has done all my own home repairs for the past 4o years) I was treated like I did not know what I wanted (fine wire mesh to make a crawl space vent) by a male clerk who was overtly rude. I then asked a female clerk to help me find vents for a crawl space. She showed me pictures of âfencesâ even though I spoke clearly twice. English was not her first language. After waiting at customer service I finally got an aisle number for vents, where I bought one that might work. A frustrating experience. Note to Shelbourne Victoria store. Why have greeers and clerks who canât help a customer find a product.

I ordered a fridge
I ordered a fridge, at the store to be delivered to my home. Paid $60 for delivery. The morning of delivery the store calls me to say they are ready to deliver, but just so you know, it will be curbside only! The fridge arrives in a huge truck with a forklift on the back of it and only one person in the truck to unload it. One whole person!! An elderly neighbor came out to assist the delivery person to take it down over some steps. Why am I being charged $60 for a half @$$ delivery?

They told me it didn't ship. What, there's 12, 30 minutes from here. I asked to cancel or arrange pu at my local store. No can do. It might be a few days, sorry, sorry sorry. Store #6585 Cedar Park Tx, bought a battery 4 months ago, tried to get replaced, they sent me to 2 other stores to get it exchanged, those stores sent me back to where i started, then they tell me i have to get ahold of the manufactory, the manufactory called them to let them know they have to order it so it can be replaced, the store call me and said i have to buy another one so they can reimburse me back, that's alot of BS to go thru.

Worst return policy Iâve ever dealt with. I purchased a Milwaukee trimmer set with a blower and brush cutter and returned it within a week in all original packaging. Left my toilet at another address and will not fix it
Home Depot Canada delivered my toilet to the wrong address and promised either to redeliver it refund it (in writing, multiple times). As a single woman I have no way to carry the toilet from this address to my home. Home Depot followed up again on June 5th to say they wonât be doing anything about the toilet that was delivered to the wrong address (and is still there) on May 23rd. They said if I donât like it I can charge back through my bank.
Horrible service, I will never shop there again.

Two appliances
Two appliances, a stove and fridge were very delayed in arriving at their destination. At one point, I was told by a customer support representative that one appliance was in BC the other in Ville St. Laurent. I had to buy take-out meals for weeks because I had no where to store food and nothing to cook it on. When the stove did arrive, the driver wanted to leave it outside the entrance to the building. When I asked him to at least bring it into the building's vestibule, he did, but said loudly that I should give a tip that would pay for a drink. I had to pay a moving company $200.00 to bring the stove from the first floor to the third floor and into my apartment. I won't buy anything else at Home Depot ever again.
