We stayed at Villa Graziadio Executive Center at Pepperdine University from Sept.18th to the 19th. We were charged $468 for a horrible, dirty, disgusting room and Hotel Planner promised we would get our money back since they are the ones who booked it for us. They are a horrible company and write the same thing to every customer who complains.

Ricardo - Perfect Man for the Job!
Ricardo is the perfect person for helping people with their hotel reservations. I called to book a certain hotel but he said it was full. He then offered to find another hotel for me! Great service! We found one, he booked it for me (actually for my employer). He spoke very clearly, was incredibly helpful and I appreciate it very much.

I booked a room and I tried to change the date
I booked a room and thought I was talking with the actual front desk! An hour later I realized I was one day early and wanted to change the date to the next date! They said they couldn't do that and I would receive a voucher that they sent! But then they wanted me to read back info on the voucher and confirm my email and address! Then they wanted me to type in my credit card number! I said no and was really upset at that point! They wouldn't cancel the room and I did not trust this voucher! It was only an hour later that I wanted to change the date! They never said on the phone that I would not be able to change the reservation and I would still be billed for one night! I asked them just to cancel the reservation and they wouldn't do it! I thought people had 24 hours to change things without penalty! This is a really bad scam!

I booked a room and paid $260 then I received a receipt directly from the hotel for $189. I called customer support and was told that Expedia adds a small fee for the reservation. $70 is not a small fee.

I'd love to help clarify! After taking a deeper look into your reservation, I see that it was booked as a pay-at-hotel reservation for $175.98, meaning that we did not charge your card since the hotel took care of charging your card.
Therefore, since the charge to your card came through the hotel, any refunds will need to come directly through them as well. For easier communication, I will provide the hotel's phone number:
