I wish I read the reviews before purchasing…
I wish I read the reviews before paying close to £400 for two swimsuits 2 years ago. I guess the lifetime is 2 years from what I see others noted in their reviews. I reached out to customer care about how the elasticity has completely worn off on the back of the top bikini, while other places and the bottom are intact. I take extra care of these swimsuits, rinsing them first, washing them with the right temperature but hand for extra care. Their claim is not using a washing machine is the cause of damage and they offered me 20% discount to buy a new one. This defeats the sustainability "values" they claim to have and the reason I even invested in these pieces. They don't offer a fix, they don't offer to replace the top only to avoid having to waste product by buying the top and bottom again. If anyone has suggestions on other sustainable better customer care brands give them a shoutout in the review please so I can buy elsewhere.
P.S. I feel body-shamed through their marketing of these bikinis sustaining body changes and I bought it pre-pregnancy and now that I'm postpartum, the top is completely loose despite me being bigger than I was pre-pregnancy and thinner than pregnancy. Completely lost elasticity and fit. Don't fall for the marketing.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that you’re disappointed with the outcome.
Throughout our correspondence, we have been transparent about the reason we are unable to offer a replacement. In this instance, the care instructions for the swimwear were not followed, and we explained that hand washing does not provide the same level of cleaning required to properly remove chlorine, salt water and other chemicals from the fabric. Over time, these residues can contribute to the breakdown of the fabric and elasticity.
We would also like to clarify that pregnancy or being postpartum has no bearing on the deterioration we identified with the garment. We fully appreciate that bodies change throughout life, and our comments regarding the care of the garment were entirely unrelated to changes in your body or size.
We strive to be as sustainable as possible in everything we do. However, we also believe that automatically replacing garments where our care instructions have not been followed would itself be an unsustainable approach. We would much rather encourage the correct care of our pieces so they can be enjoyed for as long as possible and avoid unnecessary replacement and waste.
We appreciate that you were hoping for a different resolution, and we’re sorry that this experience has left you feeling this way.

Poor quality and disappointing customer support
I bought two costumes from Hunza G a year ago and have worn each of them only a handful of times. Unfortunately, the material on one of the costumes has become completely see-through, to the point that I can no longer wear it.
I have followed the washing instructions carefully every time, so I’m very disappointed with the quality and durability of the product.
I emailed Hunza G twice to ask for help with the issue, but I still haven’t received a response. Given the quality of the product and the lack of customer service, I won’t be purchasing from this brand again and would not recommend it to friends.

Quality completely gone down hill
I’m really disappointed with how much the quality of Hunza G swimsuits seems to have gone downhill over the years.
My first swimsuit lasted around 3 years before the elastane eventually started to go, which I was happy with and is why I continued buying from them. My second lasted barely 2 years, and now my third has lasted just 15 months despite only being worn on two holidays and always being looked after and washed according to the care instructions.
For the price, I just don’t think that’s good enough. I’ve loved Hunza G swimsuits in the past, but unfortunately I won’t be purchasing again. I’ll be saving my money and buying elsewhere in future.

I had an issue and had to correspond…
I had an issue and had to correspond with customer service ..the service and level of courtesy and understanding was exceptional and the “go to” position was to resolve and not dispute .
It was so refreshing to be received so well when in effect making complaint!The matter was resolved quickly and to my complete satisfaction. I expect this level of service in theory as this is a luxury product but to actually experience the service is something else again! Thank you guys.

Poor quality - won’t last more than a season
I’m now onto my second pair and what I thought was a defect in the first appears to be a systemic issue. Both times my swimmers have gone completely sheer despite following care instructions. It seems that whilst they look nice and hold their shape/ are good to swim in, they won’t last more than a season for quality issues. They simply cannot sustain normal usage, despite the premium price tag. When I wrote to Hunza G both times, they tried to put the blame on me for not following care instructions. Having spoken to friends, their experience with the quality is the same. Warning to anyone considering spending big- it’s not worth it.

I had an issue with one of my costumes and emailed to let Hunza know, the customer service has been phenomenal, my costume has been replaced and the girls were very efficient with the replies, wouldn’t hesitate o ordering again and recommending to friends and family x

Extremely shocked at their lack of customer service on a faulty swimsuit
Extremely shocked at their customer service when I notified them of an almost complete colour loss on the bubble gum pink swimsuit as well as elasticity loss in parts, despite following rigidly the care instructions and very light wear. Selfridges refused to refund or replace it despite seeing multiple photos and said it was outside of their 6 month policy for guarantee when it wasn't and I sent them the evidence receipts on that. Hunza G then refused to take responsibility either so I am left with a swimsuit costing almost £200 that is fit for the bin... Selfridges said my only option was to pay myself for an independent analysis of the swimsuit. So please beware buying these expensive swimsuits.. happy to show the pictures of what has happened to mine

Great customer service
The parcel was delivered, by royal mail, to my neighbour in error. The team at Hunza G were so helpful in locating it quickly, the swimsuit is amazing and I am vey happy with my purchase. It was my first order and won't be the last one!

I would have the costume in every…
I would have the costume in every colour if I could. They fit beautifully and are so comfortable. I’ve just ordered the bubblegum pink and can’t wait to wear it on my next holiday. The customer service is also brilliant. You get a message back really quickly which is so helpful.

Amazing customer service
After purchasing a Hunza G I was so upset when it had lost its colour after 1st time use abroad- I reached out to their customer care and Ruby and Chloe were absolutely amazing!
