InteriorHomeScapes RUN and ESCAPE from horrible business
InteriorHomeScapes is another example of the demise of furniture and furnishing sales in the USA. They are third party adding a layer of nonsense from Manufacturer to customer. I purchased an item from Noir Furniture (manufacturer) and was told over the phone, because I called to confirm, the item was in stock and would be shipped within 2 weeks. The item took 4 weeks, was lost in transit for 4 days with Fed Ex, went to a "logistics company" to schedule another company for delivery. Item was not as described nor pictured. Bad stock photos. In additiona, item was scratched. Only upon trying to refuse delivery was I told the item was not returnable and there was a "process" for claims via email. You get the picture...layer upon layer of companies having policies that are not forthright. In the end, I am fighting with InteriorHomeScapes to get a replacement from Noit because they decide if through photos an item is damaged (again all up to them) and have to be stuck with a product that I thought was returnable and perhaps damaged if a replacement is not deemed worthy of my scratch photos. This is a high-end table too, $700 for a small side table. Shameful and abysmal business practices. Go somewhere else. I will be contacting my credit card company, too.

Thank your review. It looks like our claims department has been working with you and has exchanged quite a few emails with you regarding your table. They sent over some side by side pictures of the item we have on our website and the one your received to show they were the same color marble. Natural stones does vary by nature though so no two will be identical. If there is any kind of damage sustained to the item during shipping or the item is deemed defective we will be happy to replace it. All Noir items ship out in about 2 weeks as quoted in the product description because they have to be crated. The white glove delivery is generally one and half to two weeks from the date the item leaves the warehouse as quoted in the shipping notice you received via email. It looks like your order was placed on 7/31 and you were contacted to set up delivery by the white glove delivery agent on 8/14. We do not accept returns on Noir freight items because they ship freight with white glove as stated in our Terms & Conditions but if you have any questions in the future about whether an item is returnable or not feel free to email, support@interiorhomescapes.com or give us a call at 888.285.3211 and someone from our customer service department will be happy to assist you. Hi Azita, Thank you for your review. Yes, per our Returns Policy we do not offer returns on large freight items because most of them ship white glove delivery. This is service which we offer complimentary so the piece of furniture is not left in a huge crate or pallet at your door step. Once the item is delivered and signed for clear of damage however the delivery teams takes away all of the packaging material. This means there is nothing left to package the item up in later and it is pretty much impossible to get a large piece of furniture back undamaged if it is not in its original packaging and on a pallet or crate. It looks like you placed an order for a very large hand-made mirror from John Richard which was not returnable because of this reason. We are sorry the finish did not work out for you.
