I recently visited the Janan Ladypool Road branch and had an excellent experience. I was served by a gentleman named Faizaan, who kindly arranged an exchange for my purchase, even though the store's policy does not usually allow exchanges or returns on sale items. His helpfulness, professionalism, and willingness to go the extra mile were greatly appreciated.
The shop also had an excellent variety of both men's and ladies' Asian wear, with plenty of beautiful styles to choose from. Overall, I was very impressed with both the customer service and the selection available. Unprofessional service and attempted overcharging at Cheetham Hill branch
I am highly disappointed with the service at Janan (Cheetham Hill, Manchester). A staff member named Qasim Ali treated us with complete disrespect and showed zero customer service skills. Furthermore, there was a serious issue with billing integrity; we were given a total of £65, but after we requested a re-scan, the correct price was £50. This felt like a deliberate attempt to cheat customers. Management needs to look into this immediately.

I purchased kurtas that turned out to be defective. After reporting the issue, I was told that the matter had been escalated to head office and that a replacement would be sent. Despite repeatedly chasing for updates over an extended period, I received no meaningful response and was simply ignored.
To try and resolve the issue, I visited the Southall store in person. Unfortunately, the staff were rude, dismissive, and unwilling to help or exchange the defective items. The level of customer service was extremely disappointing, and no one seemed interested in taking responsibility for the problem.
A companyâs true quality is measured by how it handles issues when things go wrong, and in this case the after-sales service was non-existent. Poor communication, broken promises, and rude staff have left me with no confidence in this business.
Beware before purchasing. If you receive faulty items, donât expect a prompt or professional resolution.

Following your conversation with our customer service team, we advised that unfortunately we were unable to offer an exchange for the same item at that time due to it not being available in our store. As an alternative, we offered either an exchange for a different item or a store credit. However, we understand that your preference was to receive the same item as a replacement.
While we were making enquiries with another store to source the item for you, a chargeback was raised through your bank. Once a chargeback has been initiated, the matter must be resolved through the bank's dispute process. As a result, we were unable to proceed with an exchange until the chargeback case had been concluded.
We apologise for any frustration this may have caused and appreciate your understanding.

I ordered an outfit from Janan for Eid, but unfortunately it didn't arrive in time due to delays with Royal Mail, which was completely outside of Janan's control.
I contacted Janan's customer service team, and they were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. They were friendly, professional, and kept me updated throughout the entire process. Returning the outfit was straightforward, and they even covered the return postage, which I really appreciated.
Although my order didn't arrive in time for Eid, the level of customer service I received was outstanding. Janan went above and beyond to help, and I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again. Highly recommended!
