Great customer service, fast delivery and fast returns, all in all a very good experience

Received my order on time. The suit is good and the same as described

I raised this complaint about a dress I ordered for my daughter online for Eid. The dress was of poor quality standard, stitching all coming out , material stretched and on top of it said on website raw silk whereas tag on clothing said 100% cotton. As it was Eid in one day , I had no choice than let my daughter wear it for couple of hours and where more stitching came off , even the tag stitching came off . I emailed the customer service as soon as I opened the package and send the issues with photos and they said to give me 15% discount. Which was not acceptable .It also contradicted the material specifications as it said it was raw silk whereas it said it is cotton. I have had recent conversations and response from Janan, they have apologised for with 30% refund and hence I want to close this matter and won’t be escalating it any further . I have shared all the photos to prove this as well. I will donate the dress to charity after appropriate stitching done to make it suitable for next person to wear and I hope this is a lesson learned by Janan and they do proper quality checks for items being send to customers in future .

We had the pleasure of visiting Janan Designer Clothing Shop - 215 Wilmslow Rd, Manchester M14 5AG on
9 May 2026, as we were searching for high-quality traditional clothing for both men and women, and we were genuinely impressed by the outstanding service we received.
Khurrum, Ambreen, and Kulsoom were all exceptional in the way they assisted us throughout our visit. Each one of them took the time to carefully understand exactly what each one of us was looking for and paid close attention to our individual needs and preferences. Their professional advice was incredibly valuable and encouraged us to try styles and outfits that we would not normally have considered and to our surprise, we ended up purchasing them and absolutely loving the choices.
What truly stood out was their patience, warmth, and dedication. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them. They happily went up and down the shop multiple times to find the right sizes, colours, and styles, always with genuine smiles on their faces and a willingness to help.
They made us feel valued and welcomed in every possible way, and we also greatly appreciated the good price they offered us. We left the shop as extremely satisfied customers with a wonderful shopping experience to remember.
We would happily return to Janan in the future and would highly recommend this store to anyone looking for beautiful traditional clothing along with truly exceptional customer service. The Janan team left a lasting impression on us with their professionalism, kindness, and excellent customer care skills.

I bought my husband's and sons thobs from janan the stuff is so lovely and very reasonable.

Went here with my daughter. Never again. We went to buy wedding clothes. First dress we paid over £100 had makeup on the inside neck. And lipstick all dwn the back. We went bk to tell them. Firstly Over the phone the staff were very rude to my daughter. So we went into the shop. Was told it's normal people put make up all over the clothes and still sold at over £100 in the end she had to buy another suit which cost again an extra amount of money over £100 so the nxt suit she bought was full of black marker pen.
We went bk again to get the scarf changed and to yet again get told nothing they can do the suits are sold with black marker pen all over them. We never got a refund only the scarf changed. The skirt to the suit has still got black marker pen on it and they said nothing they can do so clearly you go to buy a wedding guest outfit from this shop and it comes with blk marker pen all over it. These are faulty garments they are selling at a crazy price. They then go to say the manager told us the clothes have marker pen on them.no she never did at all Are these people for real over £200 my daughter has spent on a suit to take it bk with pen on it. I did say they need a no make up policy to try on clothes ha ha she said no can't do that I'll loose customers. Big named shop like that and clothes are sold as damaged garments and you get told it's ok it's normal are these people for real. Check your clothing properly if you buy from there but if it's faulty you will get stuck with it. Never again we will spend a penny in tht shop......bradford store ...

With Eid coming up, I needed some last-minute shopping and Janan really came through. The designs are incredibly intricate and the delivery was impressively fast. Honestly saved me at the last minute—couldn’t be happier.

I had such a lovely experience at Janan Bridal Suite in Birmingham when I went to choose my bridal outfit. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed, which really helped ease the stress that can come with bridal shopping.

A special thank you to Shehla, who looked after me throughout my visit. She was incredibly attentive, patient, and genuinely caring. She took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for, offered helpful suggestions without being pushy, and made me feel completely comfortable and confident in my choices.

Her professionalism and warm personality made the whole experience feel personal and enjoyable rather than overwhelming. I truly appreciated her honesty and eye for detail it made all the difference.

I would highly recommend Janan Bridal Suite to any bride to be, especially if you’re lucky enough to be assisted by Shehla. Thank you again for making such an important part of my wedding journey so special!

I bought two outfits for a wedding coming up. When they arrived one of the outfits had red lipstick all over it and the entire thing had a terrible smell of BO. Unsure if this was a return or what. I contacted customer service who arranged a ‘free’ return and once received by them they would issue a refund. This is the least they can do considering the state the item arrived in. I asked for them to post me another outfit as I still need it for the wedding. They said they don’t have the size. I asked for support with postage so I could order something else to arrive quickly and they are now ignoring my emails. I have emailed 3 times to no response when before this they responded really promptly. Do not buy from this website - they are sending used clothes and then refusing to support with getting you something new. I shouldn’t have to pay for postage or a more expensive item now in my size because this should never have been sent to me in this way. Appalling will not be returning.

Update - the manager did contact me to try and sort a new outfit - however this also arrived damaged. It hadn’t been checked before it was sent. He was initially unwilling to send a bigger size and pay for my alterations as he would be out of pocket. Whilst I get this, it wasn’t my issue two different outfits were damaged / worn. I won’t be returning to this store.

⁷My husband bought me a set of 2 Bangles for Eid this week. As I have fractured my ankle I wasn't able to visit the store to try the size. They were 2 sizes too big and had not been tried or even worn as I could see straight away on Eid they were the incorrect size. My husband has partial sight so wasn't aware the receipt mentioned that jewellery can't be returned and nor was this mentioned to him by customer service staff that had served him. I have on a few occasions in the past returned/exchange jewellery from other stores without any issues. I ended up having to go back with my husband with crutches to try and exchange the Bangles and got told there is nothing we can do now. Extremely poor service and would not recommend buying jewellery from this store !

Ordered shalwar kameez for our child for Eid from Janan online.
Washed it before use. It shrinked. Contacted them for the issue and exchange. They refused to honour their quality promise.
Not reliable quality, nor reliable people. Proceeding with legal action, as this is violation of Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Bought two suits for women stitched and one for men. Also bought Janan Oud and Janan Gold which smell amazing. Defo recommend this site to others. The suits are a little bit on the pricey side but can’t fault Janan for quality

Had a great experience. The customer service was excellent, very helpful and polite. The staff ( especially Harriet and Zainab @ Leicester Branch ) were very helpful in trying their best in choosing clothes for us and checking availability. They made our day as we bought 2 dresses. The till staff was also helpful and signed up us on the loyalty card scheme ( 786786102104832)( BUT DID NOT GIVE US 10% OFF) , which i had a leaflet posted and it said on it. Only gave £5 off for every £100 spent , we spent over £200, the till staff gave compliment products . Overall we are happy with Excellent customer service.

The clothes I ordered were in a bad quality. The colour delivered was so different then shown in the picture. The cloth material is very cheap which shouldn't be due to the high price and it is a well known brand.

The store is very clean, well organised. Everything was displayed neatly.

The staff are excellent, especially a lovely lady named Sumbal. She was incredibly friendly, supportive, and patient while helping us pick the right sizes and styles. She made the whole shopping experience smooth and enjoyable, and really went the extra mile to make sure we were happy.

We came out with a full family shop of six shalwar kameez, and we’re very pleased with the quality and variety available. Overall, I highly recommend Janan to anyone looking for beautiful outfits and great customer service. We’ll definitely be coming back again.
