Having been a client of Jones and Co Solicitors, I sadly cannot, in all good conscience, recommend them to anyone.

If you want some one to guide you through what could be a daunting experience then I would highly recommend Jones & Co.
Philip Armstrong was extremely professional and informative without being overly formal making us feel relaxed throughout
He covered every question and area we had concerns about and made suggestions on matters we hadn’t considered
I must also mention Jasmine who promptly dealt with any queries and emails along the way
All in all great customer service throughout

Couldn’t have been more helpful in sorting my redundancy settlement. Very happy.

This is the second time we've used Jones & Co for conveyancing and I'd have to say their service is absolutely outstanding. Both times we've been represented by Gill Hempstock, who's knowledge and professionalism has been second to none and without a doubt the very reason we have, and will continue to recommend Jones & Co to absolutely everyone. Wills and probate to take 3 years to settle my parents estate. No fixed fee but the bill is based on time taken. Gareth Day unorganised and false promises and described to me as a Swan (elegant and sophisticated on the surface but below the water line unorganised and almost out of control). Opening letter from the firm gave timelines to settle the estate of 6 to 12 months, probate came back after 6 months which is normal but Gareth’s work took a further 2.5 years to complete, lost paperwork, signatures for investments requested multiple times and false promises. Be very careful when choosing your solicitors for such an emotional event in your life. I would not recommend.

I had a very disappointing experience with this conveyancing firm. The solicitor handling my case was unprofessional, uncommunicative, and generally unhelpful throughout the process.

I would not use this firm again and would not feel confident recommending them to others.

It as taken a solicitor three years to sort out two relatives Wills at this company in Retford. I am no expert, but, i am sure it shouldn't have taken this long to sort! It took another solicitor approx' six MONTHS to sort two Wills/Probate out so why it took so long with our cases, i don't know! On a house sale, we didn't receive any correspondence from the conveyancer to keep us Updated Until i contacted them! Surely it is not down to the grieving clients to Push for a closure but we Had to because it took too long! It is okay doing a Will with them but when people are grieving They need it sorting has soon as possible, not eighteen months later!
From a unhappy ex client that will not be Recommending this Company to Anybody!!!

If I could give a higher rating I would! I dealt with Will Jones regarding a probate dispute. For obvious reasons it was a very sensitive subject, but Will made the process as smooth as it possibly could be, and guided me every step of the way. He was very welcoming and easy to talk to, he got us to a positive outcome and I couldn’t be more grateful. Communication was brilliant and timely, I would definitely recommend the firm and highly recommend Will!

If there were no stars to give I would. Telephoned today after receiving some paperwork about their costs as I felt they have misunderstood what I needed help with. Receptionist was very curt and rude and put me on hold while I was talking! When I said I wasn't happy with their explanation and felt the fees to be excessive and unclear I was told I can collect the papers I had left and go to another solicitor. I will collect said papers on Monday. Have a good weekend.

Our house sale was emotionally difficult as we were selling our parents home following their deaths. There were also added complications. Everyone we communicated with were friendly, polite and helpful and kept us updated with what was going on. Would definitely use again! A big thank you to all the staff.

Reece Wall dealt with the conveyance matter in a very professional and courteous manner considering all things not being so straight forward in relation to the sale. Any questions I had were answered promptly and directly and her giving personal attention to matters when so required gave me the reassurance that the sale would proceed as quickly as possible.
Highly recommended.

Reece, Kayla and the team were incredibly helpful, and always available to answer our queries, over what for us was a particularly stressful and lengthy process

I needed some advice on a financial matter involving tax implications. Its the first time I have used Jones &co. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming. I thought I would have to wait for an appointment but was seen straight away and was given reliable advice which really helped me in decision making. I was so impressed by the professional manner and understanding of the advisor. I would recommend them to anyone.

This is the third property transaction that Jones and Co conveyancing team have handled. First class service, friendly and professional. I will certainly use their service again without a shadow of a doubt.

They kept me informed at each step, explained processes and answered any query I had, no matter how ‘silly’ my questions were and explained all to me, and my very limited knowledge of the legal system and what to expect. They kept in touch with me throughout and always answered promptly.
With no exaggeration I would have had no idea where and what to do without each of them, and am sincerely grateful for all their care, time and guidance.
