Easy to book. Reliable and good service.

Excellent service from start to finish. They organised pick-up and drop-off directly through the concierge at Alila in Shanghai, which made everything completely seamless. Communication was clear and prompt, and the clothes came back clean and well handled. Very reliable and easy to deal with — highly recommended.

Laundry Town offers very efficient and high-quality service. I highly recommend it! The prices are also reasonable. I’m glad I found this place.

BEWARE DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!! My laundry was scheduled to be returned to my hotel yesterday before 22:00, but that did not happen. No responses to my WhatsApp messages, but I can see that they have been read. The service is in Taipei, but their contact number on WhatsApp is a U.S. number, which is fishy. Today is Sunday and they are closed and my flight leaves early tomorrow morning. Over 5kg of my family's clothing lost and we are devastated.

*UPDATE* They just delivered my laundry at 5:00 and I literally almost cried. It would have saved me such grief had they just communicated that they were running behind schedule. It came nicely packaged and folded. The detergent they use does not smell fresh, but the clothes seem to be clean. Regardless, I would not subject myself to this level of stress ever again due to their poor communication and unreliability.

Exceptional Service and Kindness!

Laundry Town Taipei went above and beyond for us. They picked up our laundry right from our hotel, which was already super convenient. But what really blew us away was what happened after — we had an unexpected emergency and had to fly back to the United States before our laundry was ready. The team didn’t hesitate — they helped arrange everything and mailed our clean clothes all the way to us overseas.

That kind of honesty, communication, and genuine care is rare these days. If you’re in Taipei and need laundry done quickly, professionally, and by people who actually care, Laundry Town Taipei is the place to trust.

I am away for one month living in Taiwan and I called laundry town up to come and get my laundry. They came very quickly and they delivered very fast. All I can say is thank you very much.

I have used LaundryTown three times in different provinces of China, and it is worth every penny! I've been travelling for two months and doing the laundry was a huge issue for me that I didn't know how to solve. The whole process is very simple and really makes life easier, which is greatly appreciated here. You can also contact them via WhatsApp, and they provide very efficient feedback. I totally recomend it!!

Service so quick, in less than 5 hours my clothes were picked up and washed. Never experienced a laundry service this good ! I highly recommend it

Very good communication, very quick. Everything came back smelling nice, neatly folded and left with the hotel reception.

My hotel in Taipei recommended Laundry Town to me for laundry services. All seems well from booking to pick up and return as the process was very straightforward and easy.

However, I later realised that one of my pants was damaged - the tip of the drawstring of my favourite joggers were ripped off with pieces of cotton just hanging out.

I am surprised that it was just folded and returned to me without any heads up. And they just blue ticked me when I reached out on WhatsApp.

I believe there are a lot of cheaper alternatives for laundry services in Taipei. Find one which you can find Google Reviews on. Avoid laundry town.

Edit: Dear Saul, are you sure you want to call me untruthful? I can share our full conversation on WhatsApp as well without cropping out any parts. I was going to suck it up since your business obviously isn't going to do anything to make up your wrongs (maybe if you're not sure, you could reply to ask how much should you compensate instead of just blue ticking me and downplaying the damages here?). But I won't tolerate any insults to my character.

Used the KL branch around 4 times now and the collection and drop off has been good. The laundry is well packaged on return and smells
Fresh. The only negative comment I have is the extra charges. I’ve had several random charges on my card of approx 6MYR that should be explained as I always book well above the kg weight of my laundry.

I was hesitant at first because I have never used this sort of service before. I tried for a couple of hours looking in Beijing for coin laundry and other physical laundry stores, they all charge by item count.

I took the plunge and decided to give laundry town a go. They picked up the items from the hotel (I left them with the concierge) and returned them the next day (I paid for their next day service). I did get nervous when the concierge said there were no items left for me. As it turns out the concierge did not label my item clearly for me to pick up so it sat in the corner for a few hours while I kept checking with them.

We had about 8.5kg of washing, we ended up saving lots of money. The hotel laundry pricing is not worth it.

Not sure why there are negative reviews, their service and pricing is great. We are going to Tokyo next year, will use them again.

Clothes arrived smelling fresh, folded and clean. Pick up & drop off from the hotel was incredibly easy and efficient the day before leaving. Highly recommend, also great customer service THANK YOU!

I read some of the negative reviews and feel the need to (legitimately) tip the scales.
I used Laundry Town in Taipei. It was straightforward, my enquiries were answered promptly and coherently.
My laundry was cleaned superbly and returned ahead of schedule
I will use the service again without hesitation and heartily recommend.

Have been using their services for a while - when things go fine they generally provide standard service as every other company would, but when things go wrong they become a huge pain to deal with. Therefore would NOT recommend using them.

In particular 3 reasons why they are a pain, after the experience of them losing my clothes after a wash:

1. Extremely avoidant + slow response - took 2+ business days to reply to my initial messages (and I had to chase through multiple channels to push for a response), and afterwards they still replied slowly and I had to follow up multiple times with long messages for them to revert with a brief response (I sometimes message after work in evening times so didn't expect instant reaction at all, have given enough buffer time for them to respond the next day / afternoon). Have also stressed everytime that I am only staying in Taipei for a few days with limited time to resolve the issue, and it almost seems like they were just avoiding reply and trying to wait it out until I leave
2. Unhelpful + non-cooperative - I have tried and proposed multiple ways to search for my missing clothes (e.g., checking with delivery and laundromat), but LaundryTown behaves passively (only waited for other customers to report if my clothes mixed into their laundry), even my hotel has been more helpful to check security footage and search through all possible areas. I have also been quite compromising when resorting to ask for compensation (e.g., only cheaper brand replacements so that I at least have something to wear, flexible in amount / format of compensation such as laundry credits), but they dismissed everything and refused to help with my situation in any way at all
3. Irresponsible + defensive attitude - regardless of what I said (e.g., trying to understand the situation, solving the problem, asking for compensation), they always respond briefly along the lines of "we simply cannot take liability", refused to admit any fault and did not appear to be even remotely apologetic, ultimately just ignorant of any losses and just pushing the blame back to my end (also quite consistent with the attitude they displayed when responding to other customers' negative reviews)

I was sharing this to the hotels I stayed at so they can warn their other customers, and they actually provided alternative laundry shops (both chain / mom-and-pop shops) that are way more responsible and polite to deal with. Would suggest anyone with laundry service need to also seek your hotel's guidance (also happy to share recommendations privately), don't go to LaundryTown just because they're the first ad to show up on Google.
