If you live in a small apartment
If you live in a small apartment, this dishwasher is a lifesaver. Loch Electronics really understood the needs of people with limited space. The Capsule cleans well, uses very little water, and looks great on the counter. I’m genuinely happy with my purchase!

Missing Inlet Hose
I ordered and received my Capsule pretty fast. I got everything I ordered but found the water inlet hose was missing. I emailed customer service immediately and asked them to send me the missing hose. After sending them pictures of the box and items received, they said they would send me the missing hose. I have had this machine for 3 weeks so far, and haven't been able to use it due to not having the hose. I think having to email customer service back and forth and wait for their response is bullshit! They need to have a local customer service phone number for the United States for customers to call to talk to a live person. I am a patient person but have a limit and am now out of patience waiting for the hose. Today I was told of a delay due to the Chinese New Year celebration and asked to send a picture of the serial number, which I sent. The holiday started yesterday for 2 weeks. I have been trying to get the hose for 3 weeks. It should have been sent out long before the holiday started. So I am still fighting this battle to get a simple water inlet hose so I can try out my new dishwasher. Customer service leaves something to be desired.

Un-Loch dishwashing drudgery. Take the Capsule.
We have been mulling over making a decision on buying a dishwasher but one that fit our precise needs in terms of space, ease of use and performance. We separately ended up on the same page with regard to what we felt was the washer that was fit for our purpose and this turned out to be the Loch Capsule.
We ordered via Amazon and it turned up next day. Self set-up was very easy and the first runs cemented the fact that we made the right choice.
It easily manages dishes, cutlery and glasses for two adults and is flexible to accommodate a variety of pots and pans.
We had occasion to check in with customer support who responded to our simple enquiry promptly. Good to know they have our backs in the unlikely event that we need to contact them with a more pressing enquiry.
Overall, thus far, no complaints and great performance from the Capsule where the easy to use control panel would not look out of place on the bridge of the Enterprise.
In the battle against dirty dishes, just Loch and load!

Time to resolve issues needs improvement
Update 20/03/26
Purchased a new unit from Amazon (for return security) and it arrived with all accessories that direct from Loch are add ons - bonus!
It works perfectly & cleans very well, lives up to expectations set on the website. The only issue is that the rinse aid does not tell you when it is empty (which the manual said it should) but at this point I’m just happy to have a working unit.
Update 18/02/26: Loch have now processed the refund & apologised for the delay
Avoid buying directly if you value customer service; it has been the most infuriating experience. My brand-new dishwasher failed almost immediately. Rather than offering a replacement, Loch asked me to replace the control panel myself. I bought a new unit, not a "fixer-upper," and I was not prepared to perform a DIY repair that could potentially invalidate my warranty.
When I declined the repair and requested a refund as per my legal rights, the process became a nightmare.
The unit was returned 10 days ago (to a residential address, not a warehouse), yet they continue to stall. When chasing the refund, they said “Once we receive the inspection report back from our repair partner, we will update you immediately and proceed accordingly with the next steps which is repairing it.”
Despite explicitly declining a repair and being entitled to a refund under the Consumer Rights Act, they seem determined to ignore my request. I currently have no unit and no refund. I will be refusing any "repaired" delivery they attempt to send back to me.
I really wanted to like Loch—the concept is great—but the customer service has fallen far short of expectations. It should not be this difficult. I have since ordered a replacement unit through Amazon (where the returns process is far simpler), which I will not use until my refund from Loch is processed.
I would like to revise this review to be about the product itself once my refund is received and I can actually try the unit from Amazon. However, as it stands, I advise buying with caution.

My dishwasher was malfunctionning but the Loch support team was really helpful and sent me parts and videos to make it work again.

Capsule Dishwasher
Capsule Dishwasher - I deliberated over buying for a while, looked at the reviews, the price and lots of other tabletop dishwashers, let me save you the time. It’s worth every penny. it is small but mighty is how I would describe the capsule dishwasher. So easy to set up, space wise take up no room at all, easy to use and I am amazed at what I can get in it. If you’re debating this purchase, don't as you won't regret it.

I LOVE it
I LOVE mine! It washes perfectly, nice design, stainless inside is easy to clean, and most importantly : you can adapt the trays to fit more dishes and bigger pans. Or fruits and veggies. I even used the fruit wash cycle to clean my tuba mask. Came out perfect.
And all that without having to sacrifice space in the kitchen.

UV-C sterilisation spare me to buy another UV-C sterilisator
Quick answer to my question: it has UV-C sterilisation. They say, it is only for dishes, and there has been no text for fabrics, but I will try it, The other UV-C sterilisator which I have, is small, so this one could be a good opportunitiy without buying a further sterilisator.

Great little kitchen machine that saves time and space
I ordered a Capsule dishwasher from a Kickstarter for a friend who lives in a granny flat rental with a small, older kitchen and no dishwasher. She loves it, and it's been a huge help for her as both a time- and space-saver.
Loch did have shipping delays due to US tariffs affecting manufacturing and delivery (obviously not under their control), and the add-ons package I ordered (extra tank, colour fascia, extra tray) took nearly another year and half for fulfillment, though thankfully my friend could still use the Capsule without them. I did have to reach out every few months via email to check the status, but the Loch Electronics customer service folks were exceedingly nice and tried their best dealing with a tough situation. And then once the add-ons were delivered, they followed up to make sure it had been received, which I appreciated.

Marvelous little machine
We really love our portable dishwasher and use it regularly. It has quirks, of course, but the convenience and speed are excellent. The machine did come with the incorrect plug for the Republic of Ireland, but the customer service agent reassured me that an adapter would solve the issue. Would recommend.

Well this is very disappointing E4
⁹Well this is very disappointing I saved up to get this. I used it once and now has a constant E4 error code .. No I didn't use a too frothy dishwasher tablet.. no the hose is not kinked. There wasn't any water in it as hardly any had sucked in to the machine and that had emptied. £355 is a lot of money for one wash The product is "Not fit for purpose". I am on a pension and devastated that this doesn't work and folk are saying they are having to jump through hoops to get their money back. I need this because of my disability, I have MS. Trust pilot reviews looked great hence me getting it. Let's see what happens I can't afford to wait.. if it doesn't work then do the honourable thing and refund people otherwise, you are committing fraud! If I do not have a satisfactory resolution within 10 days I shall notify my bank and ask them to draw back the money. I shall need to seek an alternative dishwasher for health reasons.

No communication, paid for and not received
I'm sorry to send this review but it seems the only way Loch responds. There is no customer service number and they ignore my emails. I ordered in good faith and payment was taken on 29/1. The DPD tracking Said it has not received my dishwasher. I am beginning to think this is a scam. I have looked up the CEOs and the only option I will have left is to legally report them. It is so unnecessary if they would just communicate. I bought from Loch to support a small UK company but it has backfired.

Caution - scammers.
Over a year and I still have not received product (I pledged for two).
On the contrary I’m now asked (after months of mailing back and forth) to pay money for additional warehouse storage and re-delivery (90 euros).
Also they say they can not ship new units.
Also they do not want to refund my money as I have to right to be refunded per German law as they do not comply with their delivery terms.
That much of a scam attitude is rare to encounter.
Also I was told to hurry to pay again as the warehouse costs money every day :)))) what a joke after waiting for over a year.

Lack of communication & delays!

I really don't know what is happening with Loch Electronics at the moment! I've emailed them several times this week and still no reply!
I pledged towards dishwasher last Autumn and still have not yet received it! I did get an email last month saying batch 3 is now in a UK warehouse awaiting despatch....that was over 6 weeks ago and haven't had any correspondence since!
The early days had great communication but now absolutely nothing! Also what makes it most annoying that these dishwashers are freely available to purchase from Amazon etc and also get direct mailings from Loch Electronics advertising dishwashers with discounts! I was told this was setup differently and couldn't have one!
BUT YOUR THE SAME COMPANY!?!
I just simply want to know what is happening and be given an update as a simple courtesy as a customer...who almost feels this is a scam! As you've took my money several months ago and have nothing to show for it!
So please Loch Electronics get yer finger out and send me a dishwasher ASAP and give me a confirmation!! If not have to seek legal advice on this situation as feel I've been totally let down.

Was a nightmare but eventually an easy fix
Update: customer service got in touch and sent a range of suggestions to identify and correct the issue. The fix was actually solved easily - the pump connector had come loose so I simply reconnected it. To do this I had to remove the shell which I did not enjoy doing on a brand new machine but at least I hope it’s resolved now. Loch, please remove the incorrect contact number from your website and give the direct customer service email - it does not inspire confidence to find an incorrect number.

So disappointed and frustrated. Capsule arrived today, hurrah. I had emailed at the beginning of the week but still have never had a reply to that email, so I was reassured when it was delivered today. Set it all up - and there’s an issue. When it’s turned on it defaults to the plumbing setting - but I am using the water tank. I manually set it to water tank and it starts its programme but a minute in when it’s evidently trying to draw water in, there’s noise but no water. It then switched to plumbing mode again. So basically it doesn’t work. I’ve checked all the hoses and the set up, tried different programmes. Nothing. I can’t see anything that would prevent the water being drawn in from the tank. I did however notice that the back casing is not fully flush - not sure if that’s a factor. But it had obviously been tested as there was a small amount of water inside, so that should have been picked up unless it happened in delivery. My frustration comes from the inability to contact someone for help - the phone number on the website is not correct and emails and messages in insta and FB are yet to be responded. This was a really expensive piece of equipment and i am just so dissapointed with myself for choosing it. I really hope this can be resolved asap - the thought of having to send it back and argue for a refund or replacement fills me with dread.
