EXCELLENT SERVICE
We had the pleasure of dealing with Anna Bains, and we cannot recommend her highly enough. Anna was extremely professional, knowledgeable and efficient throughout the entire process.
She handled all correspondence promptly and professionally and was excellent in managing the eviction process from start to finish. She kept us fully informed at every stage, explaining everything clearly and ensuring we always knew what to expect next.
Anna was also incredibly helpful and approachable whenever we needed to speak with her over the phone. She was always patient, reassuring and willing to answer any questions we had, which made what could have been a stressful process much easier for us.

I was dealing with Elli
I was dealing with Elli, during this whole process I was kept informed every step of the way. The customer portal is very good and is easy to use, you can look and sign documents upload photo and any supporting documents for your case. Elli was easy to contact and took all of my calls even at 5:30 pm on a Friday. I would highly recommend this firm.

Damages claim
Following an accident my insurance company referred me to LDS to pursue a claim for damages.
The case handler assigned to me was Kyle Holtham. He was very courteous, always responding to emails and telephone calls in a prompt and professional manner.
My case is now resolved and, based on my dealings with Kyle Holtham, would have no hesitation is recommending Lyons Davidson Solicitors.

Emilie Macey was the second person to…
Emilie Macey was the second person to deal with our case at Lyons Davidson and has guided us at every step since the accident in November 2024. Emilie is a good communicator and kept us up to date with progress through regular phone calls and emails, giving advice and support, clarifying options.
We have been treated as human beings, not just a case number and that has certainly reinforced our belief we were in good hands. Emilie listened to us and gave us time to discuss our concerns and anxieties . Thank you Emilie.

Unsatisfactory case handling
Our ref: 01620996/00000001/LSC/GR05Kit Tapscott 26.8.50
Lyons Davidson are handling a claim for me, after an articulated lorry smashed into my car, on 27th February 2025.
I am now on my 4th case handler, at least 3 have left.
My case which is, clear cut has not been handled professionally, in fact quite the opposite
I'll know if Lyons Davidson take complaints seriously by seeing my case actually progress towards a final conclusion.

I was referred to this law firm by my home insurance legal aid policy, apparently my case didn't meet the legal assistance policy criteria, but would be more than happy to represent me if I paid them £12k.

While I appreciate that it is disappointing that we were unable to assist you I am satisfied that the reason for this was explained to you i.e. the claim that you wish to bring does not satisfy the policy conditions and as a result your legal expense insurer will not provide funding to pursue the matter.
Turning to our estimate for representing you on a privately paying basis I am satisfied that while we provided you with an estimate for our fees, we did also explain that based on our assessment we would NOT recommend that you instructed us on a private basis.

Bad Beyond Belief
Two claims we brought to them under our legal expenses home insurance cover and both were denied.... this was in May 2026 and yet had received other solicitor assessments of good chances. Sadly though £1500 on account could not go ahead. I guess what do you expect with the other lot Lyons Davidson?????? We will battle on regardless of this lot... disgusting!!! Our advice steer well clear there's better more robust solicitors out there.

Great service from start to finish
We wanted Wills turned around quickly before we went on holiday and Ioana was fantastic and managed to do this for us. Ioana was quick to respond to any communication listened to what we wanted and explained the whole process to us and made the whole thing incredibly straightforward and easy.

If only I’d bothered to read the reviews first
Update: Communication has completely stalled. Despite sending four messages over a 28-day period, I have received no response from my claims handler or any other person I have emailed. This directly contradicts the commitment displayed on their portal to respond within 5 working days. /
If only I’d bothered to read the reviews first! But no, silly me—I trusted my home insurer, who generously pointed me in the direction of this absolute powerhouse of incompetence.
I’m now blissfully stuck with a company whose customer service skills are a pure myth. Their "state-of-the-art" customer portal is essentially a black hole where messages go to die, and trying to reach my assigned Claims Agent directly is a fantastic exercise in speaking to brick walls.
Do I have a clue what’s happening with my claim? Has anyone even opened the file? Is it being processed, or was it thrown directly into a shredder? Who knows! The suspense is truly thrilling.
If you're thinking of using them, by all means, think twice, think three times, and then do literally anything else with your life

When I Needed Them Most — Exceptional Support, Compassion and Expertise
I cannot recommend Philippa Morgan and her paralegal, Eleanor, highly enough.
My children law and domestic abuse case began on 17 April 2024, and I represented myself as a litigant in person until April 2026, when the complexity and volume of the paperwork became impossible to manage alone.
That was when Philippa and Eleanor came into my life honestly, it felt as though these two ladies had landed for me from heaven. Philippa took over the complex proceedings, including allegations of child abduction, and worked tirelessly to ensure the Court understood the abuse and the incredibly difficult circumstances behind my decisions.
Eleanor handled the huge amount of paperwork with exceptional organisation, patience and attention to detail. She is an angel, focused and determined:)
After carrying everything myself for two years, having them step in was an enormous relief. Their compassion, professionalism and dedication meant more to me than I can put into words.
I will always be deeply grateful to them both and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone facing complex children law or domestic abuse proceedings.
They have been incredible in finding the solution for myself and my children. Thank you so much :)
