I previously had a successful claim with Lyon’s Davidson and through this whole process the communication was below par. Since then my partner who was a passenger in the car crash was trying to make a claim. They were numerous errors with his account, not allowing him to complete a claim form so we took this elsewhere as Lyon’s Davidson were useless in resolving this. I have since requested relevant information from my claim to allow me to obtain all relevant evidence etc and contacted Lyon’s Davison over a month ago for this. I was told this was passed over to the management team and I would hear back in 5 days. I am still waiting for this information and have had no communication from Lyon’s Davidson at all. It is completely unacceptable.

Lyon Davidson are a legalised fraud. One of the worst companies. They work with people like "ARC LEGAL" who handle your case if you have a legal insurance cover - either home or motor.

Basically before you take out legal cover with your insurance company, ask them if they use ARC Legal and Lyon Davidson to process your legal claims. If they do, run a mile. You will be wasting your money on these "legal insurances" just like I did over the years. They are a legalised Fraud.

Effectively, LD and ARC LEGAL cause delays and will almost always assign your chances of "success at 30-40%" and fob you off., presumably so insurance companies don't have to pay but L&D still get paid per number of "assessments" they handle per week. They are just collecting fees from insurance companies and are not interested in most cases for obvious reasons.

It is a scam, on same level as PPI, DCA etc. Wait until it becomes public. I would advise that if someone has and experience they write not only to SRA (they are toothless) but also to their local MP and "regulatory" bodies like the CMA/FCA

We were assigned Lyons Davidson through our van insurance legal cover to help with a dispute involving a campervan conversion company. From start to finish, they were professional, responsive, and clear in their advice.

Unprofessional law Firm

I was recently put in touch with Lyons Davison through my insurance company.

Lyons Davison began by a call, who spoke very quickly about my potential case. However, it became clear Lyons Davison were demonstrating red flags.

A complaint was made against the solicitor and firm soon afterwards. Some of the complaint was upheld. However, further poor service followed.

I will now be taking my complaint to the legal ombudsman service to demonstrate my concerns.

I would not recommend Lyons Davison due to my recent experience with the firm.

My case didn’t start well from the beginning with Lyons Davison. The solicitor dealing with my case was impossible to get hold of to discuss the case in detail. The solicitor also failed to retrieve all the case file evidence before delivering her view on the case.

I had high hopes for Lyons Davison after reading some of the reviews, however these reviews do not match the service I received recently.

Lyons Davison are a law firm not to be trusted, i can’t recommend Lyons Davison in this instance.

I have received a response from Lyons Davison to this review below. As pointed out, Lyons Davison didn’t receive the full case file before assessing their legal advice so naturally, that would cause concern to any customer of Lyons Davison. I also received poor service regarding communication between the solicitor from Lyons Davison, when you add these two concerns together, this would not help in deciding to choose Lyons Davison. Lyons Davison are simply not fit to operate as a law firm from my experience.

Professional and friendly service. Great communication and personal support. Would recommend.

I would give them zero stars If I could. There first response was how can we not do the work required they spent more time trying not to help and finding excuses and even used a third party report for my own cause support against me as a legitimate reason not to help.
The personally I don;t think they wanted a complicated case.
Never Never again.
