Alquilamos un coche hace más de una semana, y otra empezar nos retuvieron dinero de más, a continuación al devolver el coche sin haber permitido que se nos realizase ningún tipo de cargo cogieron dinero de mi cuenta de banco con dos cargos de más de 200 euros sin informar a que se deben sin informar por que los han realizado sin si quiera avisar de que iban a hacerlos y eso sin contar con que es ilegal retirar dinero de una cuenta a la cual no te han dado acceso. Tras ver estos cargos llevamos una semana tratando de contactar con ellos y llegar a una solución, no nos quieren mandar los recibos, ni la documentación necesaria para reclamar y siguen sin decir si quiera por que han realizado los cobros. Del mismo modo la empresa do you italy tampoco nos está dando ningún tipo de información, hoy mismo hemos vuelto a llamar y nos ha atendido una mujer que ni siquiera sabía que plazos teníamos para reclamar nuestro dinero ni pensaba informarse hasta que hemos insistido, una persona sin ganas de trabajar sin interés ninguno y nada resolutiva. Queda por descontado decir los innumerables correos y llamadas que hemos hecho para tratar de solucionarlo y el caso omiso que se nos está haciendo. TODA UNA ESTAFA.

A seguito di un problema su un pagamento, ho dovuto avviare una procedura di contestazione tramite la mia banca.
La contestazione si è conclusa a mio favore e l’importo è stato riaccreditato.
In base alla mia esperienza personale, sconsiglio vivamente questo servizio.

Il noleggio di per sé è stato regolare, devo segnalare la pessima assistenza Post noleggio. Nello specifico mi hanno addebitato un costo per il carburante non dovuto che solo dopo circa 10 mail hanno riconosciuto quale errore. Ma la cosa scandalosa è che ancora dopo oltre un mese e mezzo nn mi hanno rimborsato il costo ingiustamente addebitato. VERGOGNA MAI PIÙ NOLEGGIO CON MAGGIORE RENT

Esperienza negativa. Ho preso a noleggio un auto all aereoporto Di Bologna il 23 /01/26 e riconsegnata il 26/01/26sia al momento Dell consegna Dell auto che alla restituzione non era presente nessun addetto del parcheggio. La macchina era sporca, vetri sporchi tanto da non vedere fuori sia dentro che fuori, all interno tappetti sporchi di fango, ma abbiamo tralasciato. Alla restituzione Dell auto verifichiamo che non ci sono stati danni specialmente ai vetri non essendo quelli gli unici a non essere ricoperto dall assicurazione. A distanza di 9 ore della consegna Dell auto ci viene chiesto un addebito di 226 per parabrezza scheggiato, e vi assicuro che era integro. Chiesta tramite e mail la restituzione del denaro che non so se verrà restituito. Negli stessi giorni abbiamo preso 1 altra auto, quindi erano 2. Dopo 24 ore arriva un addebito sulla carta del mio collega causale squarcio ad una gomma. Ma guarda un po' consegni 2 auto integre, solo perché non abbiamo potuto firmare con un addetto non essendoci che le macchine erano come quando le abbiamo prese e ti arrivano addebiti per noi non veritieri. Ho richiesto la foto del parabrezza mi è stato inviato ma il danno non si vede perché il parabrezza è talmente sporco e la foto non è chiara.
Speriamo per loro che la questione si risolva il prima possibile procederò per vie legali.

Ho noleggiato un' auto 14 giorni a Bari presso la ditta Maggiore, all' inizio ero un po' preoccupato per le tante recensioni negative lette che io personalmente non comprendo. Sono rimasto molto soddisfatto da questa esperienza, il personale a Bari é gentile, persone simpatiche e sorridenti, dall' inizio fino alla riconsegna dell' auto é andato tutto bene. Un ringraziamento a tutti i componenti dello Staff Maggiore di Bari e alla prossima.

Pessimi. Al di la della cortesia e della disponibilità del personale al desk riscontro una totale lacuna nel servizio. L'auto non è quella prenotata, la vettura ricevuta sembrava reduce da un noleggio di muratori bergamaschi (con rispetto dovuto), i sedili posteriori inaccessibili, ho lamentato immediatamente le problematiche e ho reso la vettura anzi tempo, ho scritto 8 mail al customer care e nessuno risponde. Semplicemente vergognosi, senza professionalità, imbarazzanti

WARNING- On booking your car you will have been charged a fee of E58 to cover the cost of returning the car with a full tank of fuel.
HOWEVER, when you collect your car you are told that you MUST return the car with a full tank, and also upon return. THAT is double accounting. You have bought the fuel in the agreement, and now they are ALSO asking you to top up.

ENSURE you double check the invoice/contract they give you when you collect the car and raise it then.

I have been raising with Maggori over the past 3 months, and they have confirmed but have gone quiet now that I ask for a refund and that they correct this in their systems. I have now raised with the tradings standards in Italy and the UK-ECC

Booked via Rentalcars with Full Protection insurance, but at the Maggiore desk they tried to sell me extra insurance, claiming the one I had purchased did not apply to them. Very confusing and unpleasant.
The car (Renault Captur, “Ford Puma or similar”) was heavily used (~110,000 km), without winter tyres despite being mandatory, and suffered a mechanical fault during the trip, severely limiting power for around 2 hours.
Despite returning the car with a full tank, I was charged €12 for supposed 2 litres. Rentalcars should exercise better control over their partners.

Ho noleggiato un auto con loro; informazioni sbagliate e poche chiare. Alla riconsegna, mi sono sentito dire che possono trattenere il deposito cauzionale fino a 28 giorni.
Purtroppo costato da altre recensioni, che è un uso comune. A questo punto dovrebbero restituire le caparre maggiorate di interessi!!!

The rental car we rented had a problem with the tire pressure. Even after adding air, the warning light came on again after a few kilometers. One of the tires was flat. Why dont you check it?

Informazioni parziali e inesatte alla consegna del veicolo, poca assistenza, ma soprattutto fanno dilatare a dismisura i tempi di svincolo della pre autorizzazione (cauzione) su carta di credito, senza fornire valide motivazioni. Servizio clienti non adeguato, neppure rispondono ai reclami formali. Mai più noleggi con loro.

dopo noleggio di due gironi mi hanno addebitato spese non previste nel contratto e il rifornimento carburante che io avevo riconsegnato perfettamente al livello della consegna.
mai avuto con nessun autonoleggio un'esperienza simile.

We have rent a car from this company twice. First time we rent last year for a day went everything ok but this year we rent for a day from Venice airport to visit lake Garda and Verona. Not even 2 hours have passed and the car runs out of battery. We try calling bit nobody answered. After about 1,5 hours car support arrives fixed the problem and told us not to turn it off for about an hour and we should be ok. So we went from Garda to Verona driving and the car went out of battery twice the same day in the middle of the highway. Long story short the company didn't answer a single phone call and when we went back to our homes after all this trouble we send emails explaining what happened in full details asking for our moneys back (since this was a mechanical problem and we didn't had the chance to use their car for this day we rented) only for them to answer back that they are not giving our money back (it was clearly in the contract that they had to refund us). We almost got hit by a track while the battery went off in the middle of the highway (with just 2-2,5 hours driving) and these guys literally told us that we should have paid for the car support we called. Don't rent from then it's a complete fraud.

Maggiore Autoverleiher Brindisi Flughafen, trotz Vollkasko ohne SB, kein Schaden verursacht, keine Kilometer Begrenzung, Auto vollgetankt vor der Öffnungszeit von Maggiore abgestellt (wegen frühen Heimflug), und Schlüssel in dafür vergesehenen Box abgegeben.
Ein paar Tage später wurden ein paar Hundert Euro von der Visa Karte ohne Grundangabe abgebucht. Fall reklamiert beim Mietwagenvermittler Check24. Monate später bekam ich Antwort das der Fall geschlossen ist, der Autovermieter Maggiore hat angeblich einen Schaden festgestellt, da der Wagen ausserhalb der Öffnungszeiten abgestellt wurde, würden sie die Vollkasko Versicherung nicht anerkennen und es folgt keine Rückzahlung des (zu unrecht) abgebuchten Betrages.
Achtung bei Maggiore Autovermieter!!! Das sind Betrüger und der Vermittler Check24 hilft in so einem Fall seinen langjährigen Kunden auch nicht. Habe ein wenig recherchiert es gibt viele solche Berwertungen und Fälle das die Kreditkarte von Maggiore zu unrecht belastet wurde.
Das ist für mich eine Betrugsmasche um zusätzliches Geld zu generieren.
Werde zukünftig auch keinen Mietwagen mehr über check24 buchen.

The Seat Arona car we were given by Maggiore Rent a Car at Brindisi Airport in September 2025 was a major disappointment. The car was in poor condition and clearly had not been serviced to a basic level.
1. Carpet in foot well was threadbare and soiled
2. Internal seat coverings stained and soiled.
3. Suspension appeared to be damaged on the RHS, particularly.
4. On our 4th day driving the warning light came on for oil while we were on a motorway. With the car in danger of overheating we had to stop at the nearest garage and put in oil before continuing on with our journey.
5. The windscreen wipers were at "end of life" which was a particular issue considering the wet and windy weather.
6. On the last day, a warning light came on indicating that the tyres were deflated.

When we returned the car at Brindisi Airport the Maggiore Rep no 1 at the car park noticed 3 small marks on the passenger front door. My wife easily rubbed off what were effectively chalk marks and it was accepted by the Rep no 1 there was no issue.
He advised us to present our receipt for oil to his colleague in the airport for off setting against the bill.
We did as were advised and presented the receipt at the counter and to get sign off of release of the €200 deposit we had paid.
After a prolonged wait at the counter while Maggiore Rep no 2 was on the phone to Rep no 1 we were presented on a screen with a bill for damage to the car. We were advised that Rep no 1 had discovered further marks after we had left the car back.( This is a new one on me, but when the car is dropped back remotely to the office, it is a risk)
We were very angry at this outrageous claim and robustly and loudly let Rep no 2 know that we did not accept it. We requested a photo of the damage so we could check against the video that we had taken on return of the car to Rep no 1.
The photo never materialised and their claim was dropped after our heated rejection of their claim.
This was extremely sharp practice by the Maggiore Reps to try to extract money from us for a spurious claim of non existent damage in a situation where we were due to board a flight !
We would strongly recommend that potential customers think carefully about hiring cars from Maggiore even if the cost might seem to be attractive. We were just lucky that this poorly serviced car did not lead to an accident on Italian roads with poor surface quality in certain areas and plenty of aggressive driving.

Sono dei truffatori! Ho noleggiato una macchina presso l'ufficio di Roma Termini, che già si presenta da solo. L'unico sportello con fila chilometrica e tempi di attesa non inferiori all'ora.
Mi hanno dato una macchina incidentata, con i danni riportati sul contratto di noleggio e, dopo 12 giorni dalla restituzione, mi hanno chiesto 1000 euro esattamente per quei danni.
Dopo numerose PEC e infiniti carteggi, senza aver fornito riscontro di quanto chiesto, hanno prelevato 860,00 euro
Evidentemente sfruttano lo sfinimento e, consapevoli delle lungaggini della cause civili, approfittano di tali situazioni.
Da evitare assolutamente

Mai più un noleggio con maggiore,ho preso in carico una macchina dall’aeroporto di napoli, per poi riconsegnare a bari, a causa di un ritardo del volo volevo contattare l’agenzia per avvisare ma di tutti i numeri chiamati nessuna risposta, per fortuna almeno mi hanno aspettato,ma la cosa peggiore quando ho riconsegnato a bari aeroporto, ho preteso che la macchina venisse controllata ma alla mia richiesta la risposta è stata che al momento non era possibile e che la verifica sarebbe stata effettuata solo il giorno dopo,che nel caso ci fosse un problema la responsabilità sarebbe ricaduta su di me

Arnaque chez Maggiore Palermo. J’avais réservé via VIP Cars une petite voiture pour 257 €. À l’arrivée, on me dit qu’il n’y en a plus et on me donne un autre véhicule et on me fait signer sans explications particulières le contrat de location. J'aurais du être très vigilant. Résultat : une facture de 643 € avec des assurances et options jamais demandées ni clairement expliquées. Fuyez cette agence : pratiques trompeuses et absence totale de transparence.
