My father and I are so pleased with the service provided by Mel’s Cleaning. Stabiyo and his team worked tirelessly and respectfully to clear many years’ worth of clutter from Dad’s house and gave it a thorough, professional clean, all in two days. Family members who have visited since cannot believe the transformation! I would highly recommend the company, in particular for their sensitive handling of what could have been a difficult and stressful process for an elderly person.

Charles and his team were magnificent from beginning to end. We can't fault one single thing they did. They went over and above anything we ever expected them to do. They not only treated my husband and I with great courtesy and respect but they turned our house into a home and I cannot thank them enough for that. I have never ever seen anyone work as hard or as diligently and respectfully as Charles and his team. Our house isn't just clean it is absolutely immaculate. I literally can't find the words to express how amazing our house looks and it is all down to this amazing company. I would highly recommend them to anyone, you will never be disappointed.

Iv used this company a few times now & they never fail to deliver.
I always have the same cleaner which is great as you grow to know eachother & she literally is amazing, (as well as the man that joins her). Pavlina was my cleaner & she is absolutely brilliant. So professional but with a real personal, friendly touch. I would highly recommend 'Mel's Cleaning' to everyone as their work is faultless. I couldn't compliment & be any more happier with them !!

Needed an end of tenancy cleaning for my upcoming PCS and happened to find Mels. After a few emails everything was set, the cleaners arrived right on time and got to work, did a great job on everything and were some friendly people to talk with. I’m very pleased with the results and would definitely recommend for any military PCS’ing.

The two cleaning ladies were very polite, empathetic and really thoughtful when carrying out some decluttering work with two vulnerable clients i work with.
They also did the most fantastic job with clearing the property.

Great cleaning company. Turned up on time. Cleaned everything - windows, carpets, wiped shelves, oven, fridge - really well and finished at the time they estimated. Would be happy to use them again anytime.

An end of tenancy cleaning booking followed by a move-in clean at our new home made our move a lot less stressful.
They delivered a very good standard of work efficiently and quickly.

Mel’s cleaning sold a franchise without informing clients and not returning keys which were held for my property. They eventually contacted me after I chased using an email address which does not accept replies. I will now have to change my locks. I would use a different company as the central management (possibly not the individual sites) don’t care.

I have multiple emails from an individual named individual. She is a director according to companies house. There is an individual who replied who said he doesn’t have contact detail for the previous owners. Interesting a an individual with the same first name is also a director of this business on Companies house and they share a surname.

I am happy to provide copies of the emails to validate my issue but this response is either disingenuous or there is a trade mark issue. I do not expect this level of response to a genuine concern and the challenge to my fact that Mels cleaning in the North East held my keys for approx 5 year.

To people looking for a cleaner I would suggest else considering else where. I would have dropped this if I had been offered an apology.

I was in need of a very deep clean in a hurry due to doctors, social workers and carers wanting to start a care package in the house after a medical emergency.

I was proud and nervous inviting people into my home so i was very happy when the team turned up and took over the tasks

they were thorough hard working and they did the thinking for me which took all the stress out of a highly charged time for us.

cant thank them enough and will follow up with a more regular clean in the near future.

A first rate PCS clean organized and booked at very short notice. The team arrived on time, were very hard working and did a great job, They even managed to bring out the color again in carpets that I thought would need to be trashed.
These guys aren't the cheapest, but hey, they are worth the extra as there were no quibbles in the return of my security deposit.

Took £900 upfront for whole house sparkle/after build clean.was disgraceful & get no response to e mails or calls.Hence why doinf this to try & get a response.This is a part of e mail shortened as can’t get it all in this box.this is my third e mail regarding the cleaning we had done.I haven’t had a reply to first two even though I got a forward message saying you would be in contact.i was so upset & absolutely furious.I got to a point where I just had to let them leave because there was just too much that needed doing or re doing.I called & emailed after they left.I didn’t even sign the satisfaction form & said I would call u but I still didn’t get anyone call me even off the back of this which is not very good customer service:if someone doesn’t sign a satisfactory form & says they will call you I expected a call first thing Monday morning to apologise but nothing and no contact. I finally called again on Friday and did actually manage to speak to someone for the first time after not being able to get through since the day it was done or not getting a call back or constantly getting a message to say calls can’t be taken etc etc and she was forwarding a message to say to look out for my e mail & to send any photos relevant.I was fuming when they left & in tears.I have lived in a building site/caravan for months & in dust and it’s been very stressful.was so excited to finally be getting a sparkle clean so I could finally live in a spotless clean house.I wouldn’t even accept it as a normal clean.i stayed up until 6 that morning to make sure each room was tidy & put back in place after builders left to make it easier for them.I was told on phone everything that needed cleaning would be cleaned top to bottom and re iterated that inside cupboards and TVs and furniture and floors and windows and radiators and floors etc etc so full house clean would be done as it’s a sparkle clean.I made it clear how big the house was how many rooms & clear on what was being cleaned & that it was fully furnished.agreed all furniture/shelves/cupboards would be cleaned out in whole house & move stuff & put it back.As told on phone because I asked I didn’t need to clear cupboards etc out as I was told they would do this ,‘clean the cupboards and then put the stuff back in as they done each one &I made sure everything in the cupboards in whole house was organised so it was easier for them hence why I stayed up all night to get everything straight again. They asked me to clear the cupboards out before they could clean them.This was a whole kitchen and utility.I had nowhere to put it all so it all had to go outside in the cold and damp . It was a mess because it was so much stuff &
They did not put any of it back.By the time I could put it back it had all got damp &frozen.This took up a considerable amount of my time.The cupboards outside and some inside still had dust on and in them & hadn’t been touched.They ended up using my products & my hoover.They were going to put harsh chemicals on brand new karndeen floor & the brand new quartz worktops before I stoped them & asked them to use my products or it would have wrecked them.When they walked in with limited products I had a bad feeling. They did not come across as professional at all.She even said to me at the end when I was showing her that the cleaning was not of a good standard & loads had been missed (never get a man to clean a boys room or bathroom!.says all speak English.one man couldn’t speak any English.They refused to clean the slatted blinds which was included in the quote.they were thick with dust.Walls are supposed to be wiped down & radiators & doors.I asked them to clean them & they didn’t.paid £60 for whole sofa to be cleaned & only the top of the cushion was cleaned & nothing else.I had to ask him to go back in & clean it & still not good.There was still dust and bits under the large cushions & the cushions on the sofa were not done.other sofa didn’t get wiped down for dust at all.Underneath sofas & tables still dusty & fluff & did not move them to clean under them or anything. I took her back up on the walk round I showed her all the dust etc & all that had not been cleaned or was bad cleaning.None of one part of house had been hoovered or moped or cleaned at all.they had limited cloths & used same one for cleaning toilets & worksurface etc.disgusting.baths etc had white cleaning product marks & hadn’t been rinsed.didn’t bring stool to do higher windows & shelves & shower heads so left it.Scratched my new quartz & left the dirt from cleaning in new kitchen sink.white goods not cleaned as promised.windows &doors smeared badly & chrome on bar stools.didn’t remove paint which is part of builders clean.limescale not removed didn’t have Product& couldn’t reach!no skirting cleaned.didn’t lift things to clean under.light switches& tiles not clean.no bucket to mop floors.I have photo evidence.

I have recently used Mel’s Cleaning Services and am delighted with the result.
They turned up on time, exactly when they said they would and they have done an excellent job. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them.

Having been knocked back by local cleaning companies, Mel’s Cleaning were refreshing in their approach to working with difficult customers. Nothing was a problem, they worked with us to make sure the client was happy with their proposal and upheld the client’s specific requests.
They did a really thorough job of the cleaning, and although expensive, were worth it for the results achieved and moreover, the satisfaction of the client.
I would definitely recommend Mel’s Cleaning, especially if there are any issues around hoarding. They were respectful, understanding and accomplished.
