The guy at the Wandsworth branch was nothing short of amazing. I was after something very specific which is not common and other similar stores don’t even bother to look for what I wanted, but that wasn’t the case at Mr Resistor, great listener, patient and great technical Knowledge, found what I wanted and big problem solved, on the hottest day of the year! Thank you. I will be back

Terrible customer service.
We ordered two wall lights with glass lampshades. The lights arrived without the lampshades, the invoice stated that they were to follow. After a couple of weeks I called as my emails went unanswered. I was then told that they won’t be available until early July. The guy on the phone was incredibly unhelpful. I emailed again to say that although I was very disappointed, we really need the lampshades so please dispatch as soon as they are in. Of course this went unanswered. Two weeks later the cost of the lampshades was refunded with no explanation. Will now have to try to source them elsewhere.
Nice products but most are available elsewhere. Customer service absolutely terrible especially considering the cost of the products. Spent a fortune with them with out last shop refit 16 years ago and probably would have again this year but will definitely look for alternatives.
Following on from your reply, the issue is not that the product is out of stock, it is the complete lack of communication, especially not replying to my emails.
Please cancel the back order as I have purchase the items elsewhere

Amazing support and excellent products

Very unpleasant to work with, not particularly good products and terrible customer service.
They supplied over 120 fittings which we subsequently found out had a mark on them and dont look good in a brand new house...(though did finally offer a few % discount).
Now when sagging, have found out the dimmer doesnt work properly with the lights supplied, so we will need to replace fitting to get the dimming working smoothly.

All in all, there are a load of lighting suppliers...I would choose a different one

Excellent product (spotlights), swiftly delivered

Placed one order, delivered promptly, products look great- track with 2 different types of light fittings. Placed a second order, realised not all items were in stock from looking at invoice. Called them, very prompt and efficient customer service, sorted me out straight away. I called them again to make a follow-on change, a different person answered but that didn't make any difference to continuity of service. They were all joined-up and knew what was happening. So refreshing. Would definitely use them again. Very happy.

Have been using Mr Resistor products for over 25 years, basically because they work. Use a lot of their Wise control systems they are a unique set up. There is not any other Lighting wholesaler like them in London. Their technical service which is headed up by Ali always has the right answers when I have issues with some of their products which isn’t often.

Needed to replace an existing Wise box. Ali came & did the work (including reprogramming) in only 30 minutes. He is helpful, knowledgeable, charming and astonishingly fast! Thank you. Excellent service

Although I placed my order for a simple lamp on 27th January 2025 and told it may take a couple of weeks to be delivered; I am still waiting. After emailing to find out where my item was, I was then told it will not be shipped until early April!.
Unbelievable poor service in today’s market. I’d go elsewhere if I were you!!!
