Super Great only thing if there were most gifts just sent not buy to bring as live in very remote region so gifts might not arrive in time to bring and gift.

I'm not sure what I paid $65 for

I'm not sure what I paid $65 for. I could have simply uploaded a Google spreadsheet to my group chat for my son's birthday and had people tick off when they'd purchased something from my wishlist. The release date for our gifts states 12 February (today is 11 March). I've contacted customer service only to be told that they aren't responsible for the delivery of gifts... that my guests are. It seems odd that not one of the gifts has been received and when I phoned the charity they had no record of payment being made and are currently escalating this. Not only this, but several guests who purchased via the registry or contributed money checked in with me to ask if it was a safe and secure site. So, as it seems, my $65 was for a landing page - poor user experience for my guests, no gifts received and now I need to contact each of the guests to awkwardly ask them for their receipt and then chase up the individual websites for the items we listed.

Edit (response to your reply): I've searched my inbox and have a support ticket asking more about how the service works (prior to purchase), a receipt for purchase on 30/01/23 and notifications that someone has contributed at various points. There were no emailed instructions. I have screenshot the list of communication received from My Gift Registry, but I cannot attach it via an edited review. However, a public response to a review on this platform has taken priority over my support ticket submitted. It was not clear when watching your initial marketing video, which as someone who works in marketing - it's a great video, but it wasn't clear that you only give gift cards. And while I appreciate the laws surrounding money laundering, I would not have used your service if it was clear that I get gift cards and then need to purchase the products myself... and now I also need to ask each guest whether they purchased outside the platform or not so that I can follow up on their gift that they may or may not have purchased directly through the platform.

Hi Elysia.

I have tracked down your account and can see there are some funds that your guests have contributed.

In order to receive those funds you need to log into your account and begin the order process.

You would have received an email several weeks ago after your event with instructions to that effect, but suffice to say that the system is basically waiting on you to login and retrieve those funds.
We can't do that for you.

Some of your guests also opted to purchase the items in your list themselves, rather than make contributions on our system. In those cases the system directs them to the retailer website, using the product links which you specified when you setup the account.
Then they are able to make purchase and organise delivery however they want.

Obviously if your guests are making purchases outside of our system, it's impossible for us to control how and when delivery will be handled.

Based on the support ticket you logged and the details of your review it seems that you must not have not read the information on the website before you used it.

Unfortunately as a result you are now confused and disappointed with the experience, however as far as I can tell the system has performed it's function exactly as described.

If you need help retrieving the funds in your account please contact our customer service team again and they will be happy to assist you.
