First of all, some of The items I ordered were out stock! second....they do not give you a estimated time for delivery. Third....after hours of waiting delivery guy DOES NOT ring the buzzer... But calls my phone, that I had in the other room... But still did not ring the buzzer! Than I call them and the man tells me ill send it again, 2 hours later... ITS NOT HERE!!! the worst experience ever. Do not waste your money!

Very patient answering all of my questions online as well as friendly, easy checkout, and feel confident that we will be in good hands the day of delivery.

Great beer selection, which is what I used it for, delivered in 2 hours, no fee. No issues. Came right to my apsrrmtnet, not sure if they deliver to doorman.

I placed my order at 9:30 AM. Got a call that one of the items that I ordered was out of stock at 9:45 AM, they apologized for it and offered me a substitute item. I received my order by 10:30 AM.
The delivery person was very pleasant and bought all the product right into my kitchen.
Overall a great experience.
P.S. I take away a star as they did not have everything I ordered.

When I chatted online with their online chat "chatty" I was given an estimate of 60~90mins. I skeptical that my order can be delivered that quickly but I placed my an order for a few beers, chips and ice cream. My order was delivered in 90 mins. Not only that the delivery person waiting till I confirmed I had received everything I order. oh! and there was one item out of stock for which they called me and offered a substitute. Overall it was a good experience. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Being Thanksgiving these guys delivered my order on time. They were my party saver. Produce was great and the order was delivered as expected. I would definitely us their service and recommend to others.

Surprisingly great fruits for good price, everything is reasonably well organized and they have a good selection.

This is a great service for someone visiting in New York; as we have an apartment rented, we need groceries but don't really want to spend time shopping for them. The special german beer my husband likes was in stock and delivered just a few hours after I placed the order! Fantastic! I highly recommend newyorkgrocery.

Fresh direct is nice, but what if I want something right now?! This place is super fast, the delivery guys are always friendly, and they have everything.

Pretty good selection of vegan products, though there're also more I'd like to see available. On the whole, a good service.

I was able to order beer and groceries together and it was really convinent, Even though the price was a little higher than I would have liked.

They were amazing. Not only was I on crutches, my building buzzer was not working. I asked them to please provide me with an estimated time of delivery and have the driver call me 20 minutes before delivery to allow me time to hobble down two flight s of stairs. They did it without fail!

I was laid up with a broken ankle, and newyorkgrocery.com totally came to the rescue. Better than FreshDirect in that you can order 24/7 and receive your order within 90 minutes!! And you can call to ask questions and speak to a real person. Produce is great, general prices aren't bad and there are always specials. Thank you, New York Grocery, for making Manhattan life feel like friendly, small-town living.

Delivery was a nightmare

Although not everything will be in stock, they will call before they make any substitutions. I have use them on multiple occasions and they are very reliable and quick.

Ordered and got to my office only a couple of hours later. Will definitely recommend it to everyone here in NYC.

They were out of stock in almost half of my list and charge me for all items that were out of stock and refund a week later.
