Sometimes life throws you lemons and it can be hard when you are then presented with trying to claim back your expenses, but in my experience, the Customer Service Team are always willing to find a way to help where they can and go the extra mile.

Quick and efficient claim that was successful.

Before I have another popular international health insurance. Their services were excellent but quite expensive. This time my Danish health insurance agent suggests me Now Health International Insurance. The policy / plan was good and value for money. Unfortunately I was sick after just couple of week taking a plan and they help me in treatment. Now health insurance's services are very professional. I am happy and satisfied with this insurance provider . If you are looking for a good health insurance, give a try to Now Health Insurance .

Overall, a positive experience with Now Health International. Response times are generally good and the online portal is fairly user friendly, though there is some room for improvement when submitting claims.

I did experience an issue with suspended claims, but after escalating to senior management the matter was reviewed and resolved quickly and professionally.

Based on the final outcome and how it was handled, I would recommend Now Health.

I have received very fast and efficient services for a surgery that I underwent. The staff was caring and ensured adequate assistance on each step.

I have been trying to contact ms INA from now health indonesia after she sold me a plan for my sister in law.
She disappeared and stopped replying since I have been trying to claim back hospital expenses that she had to pay while in Siloam Hospital manado.
Very bad reputation, good luck Now health with this kind of employee and customer service!

Have been with Now Health for many years. I have amended my plans over the years to accommodate my needs, as well as regional benefits. Never had a bad experience.
Processing, reimbursement—all smooth. Yes, at times the insurance will request additional information, but that's them doing their due diligence.

Got scammed into buying this by a broker.

My only condition was that the insurance company had a direct contract for direct billing with my hospital. The broker told me they did. Even the NHI staff on the phone told me they did. After making the insurance with NHI and going to the hospital I was made aware that they do not in fact have direct billing with NHI only the Hong Kong branch and I was signed up to the UAE branch. When I called NHI they kept insisting they did but the hospital refused to help me because they said they absolutely didn't.

Then they told me to request pre-authorization for my neck and shoulder pain which I let the hospital do. My hospital is in Thailand and I do not speak Thai, so I brought someone to help me translate. I told the doctor that I started working from home 3-4 years ago and that I've always experienced stiffness but I was always fine with basic stretches etc. Only recently has it started to become actual pain that has gotten so bad that I can't sleep and I want to get properly diagnosed. I have never searched for medical help for this episode of shoulder pain before. Then NHI denies the pre-approval saying I was DIAGNOSED 3-4 years ago so it was a pre-existing condition. Even though the medical report said nothing about being diagnosed 3-4 years ago at all.

I also want to add that I specifically asked the broker in a Google Meet if I needed to do a medical check-up prior to policy start to rule out any pre-existing conditions he told me that it is not required.

Then I spoke on the phone with them and they told me to go back and get an updated report with the exact date the pain started. So I went back to the hospital again to get that.

The doctor being absolutely speechless how his words were twisted like that. He wrote down the exact date my pain symptoms started as requested by NHI as well as the exact pain areas in medical terms.

Then NHI denies the pre-approval again saying in the initial request it was mentioned pain in both shoulders where as in the updated one it's described as quote: "pain over the left shoulder and trapezius area" and clearly being an additive and trapezius area clearly covering both shoulders. But they said only left shoulder was mentioned in the second report so they can't accept any more claims for this episode of shoulder pain.

Utterly disappointing and horrible insurance company. I would honestly stay far far away from them. They will ignore and twist words to their liking so can refuse your claims wherever they can.

Edit: They have reached out to me. Management looked into it and approved my pre-approval. They also let me know they have contacted the hospital and direct billing is actually supported and should be ok going forward. Before adjusting my rating to anything that indicates satisfaction I want to actually see at the hospital itself if this is true, since everyone has been telling me this since the start but the hospital just keeps insisting they do not work with NHI and refuse to help me if I don't pay first, so I'm going with 2 stars for now for the effort made and when everything is really solved and as promised to me at the start I'll come and edit this again, but I really want to see it first at this point. I still think it's disappointing I need to leave a 1 start review before someone takes me seriously though, but at least I can get my treatment now.
