Verres de mauvaise qualité se dégradent au contact de la crème solaire

Matériel défectueux de mauvaise qualité... A FUIR !
J'ai acheté, il y a qq années des Oakley Style Switch où l'on peut enlever et changer les verres facilement. Les verres noirs au contact de la crème solaire se sont dégradés en cloquant. Cette année, j'ai mis les seconds verres et là le film à sauter directement. Ils avouent par mail qu'ils connaissent ce problème, c'est gênant pour une marque de lunettes de sport de MER et de MONTAGNE ! C'est également gênant pour une marque qui se veut référente dans ces domaines. Mon tort a été de ne pas faire jouer la garantie des 2 ans, Ils ne me proposent rien en se retranchant derrière la fin de la garantie. Quelle honte! Alors qu'ils reconnaissent ce soucis. J'ai également un masque Prizm, lors du renouvellement de mon matériel, j'irai chez une marque plus sérieuse. Je suis extrêmement déçu du traitement que j'ai reçu.

I am a bit disappointed, because i paid almost $200 dollars, I liked the glasses but the material feel very poor quality, $200 glasses made in China,, I have some glasses $30 from Amazon the material is better ,

Broken nose pad after 4 month use and no warranty cover

It is a shame that Oakley glasses nose pad broken after 4 month use because it is made of cheap rubber with design flaw which makes it small and unstable, got twisted easily. None of my old cheap glasses has such issue as they are made of metal instead of plastic. Oakley refuses to replace, instead asks me to buy nose pads from them.

Oakley Barrelhouse 0.5 Eyewear-Waste of Money

I purchased the Oakley Barrelhouse 0.5 and totally wasted my money. The glasses have a straight frame that does not go around the ear. After several attempts to have them professionally adjusted the glasses will not fit properly. These glasses are unsturdy and awkward to wear.

Excellent service from Jakub in the…

Excellent service from Jakub in the Kalverstraat store in Amsterdam. I only went in for a look around and ended up buying some new glasses, Lenses & a case.
Jakub was very helpful during the whole shopping experience.

My only complaint was that after spending £259.00 I was not given a cleaning cloth for any of the items.
When I purchased similar items in London they gave me a pack of cloths, and a free Oakley Cap.

But I am still happy with the actual items purchased.

Fool me once shame on you

Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. I should have learned my lesson. This is the second pair of the Castels I have bought in the past few years. I love Oakley's and just today purchased another style. But these Castels are junk. Both pairs have cracked in the exact same spot where the metal connects with the plastic on the upper middle part of the frame. I am by no means rough on my sunglasses and they only worn a few times a month because of the other Oakleys I have.
In my opinion Oakley really needs to take a look at these with quality control. I am a fan of Oakley but I will proudly take my business elsewhere if all their products start to go downhill like the Castels. You would think for $230 they would be made better.

Money thrown in the garbage

Money thrown in the garbage. Only after 2 years, the filter of the glasses is damaged and scratched. I wasted 100€ on those sun glasses for nothing. They look ugly now and they hurt my eyes. Never again will I buy some Oakley sunglasses.

I have been purchasing Oakley since my…

I have been purchasing Oakley since my son ever needed glasses. Spent so much money on cheap glasses (quality ). When I submitted a claim due to my son's glasses fitting and now both lenses scratch easily, they denied. I spent $200-$400 for youth glasses. The lense shouldnt be so easily scratches.

So frustrated that I have to buy two pairs since he lost the glasses in September. Fitting always weird!

Glasses are not made for sport in mind

Glasses are not made for sport in mind, left side speaker went out and glasses broke with first drop. $500 for a product I only used a handful of times. Very disappointed with the product.

Very disappointing

I ordered a custom pair of Oakley sunglasses for my son, who is a huge fan of Mathieu van der Poel and specifically wanted sunglasses with orange ear socks.
That’s exactly why I chose the “Safety Orange” option.

When the glasses arrived, the color was clearly not orange at all, but much closer to pink/coral. This is nowhere near what is shown on the website.

I contacted customer service multiple times, but I keep receiving the same response: that the product is “correct” according to what I ordered. That may be technically true, but in reality the color looks nothing like the orange displayed online.

So now I’m left with a very disappointed son and a pair of sunglasses he refuses to wear.

What makes it worse is that customer service claims they want customers to be satisfied, yet they are not willing or able to offer any real solution.

I strongly advise against ordering custom sunglasses from Oakley online. The color difference is misleading and significant.

Imagine ordering orange for your son… and receiving pink.

Even more disappointed after giving…

Even more disappointed after giving this company a second chance. My original glasses order was cancelled due to a supposed lack of confirmation on lens type—despite the fact that we had already provided it and received confirmation the order was being processed.

I reordered, thinking it would resolve the issue, but the second order was cancelled for the exact same reason.

Customer service has been unhelpful, simply stating there is nothing they can do except have us place yet another order. This is incredibly frustrating, especially when the mistake is not on our end.

This is not just an inconvenience for us. My husband has stage 4 pancreatic cancer, and these sunglasses were something he was really looking forward to using for golf during what may be his last season. Instead, this situation has caused repeated stress and disappointment during an already very difficult time.

I expected far better reliability and care from a company of this size. I would not recommend based on this experience.

They will keep your money and returned products and there is nothing you can do!

God help you if you need anything post sale!
I have been waiting for a month for a refund and cannot get a response via email and there is no way to talk to a human, you are left with prepopulated prompts from the worst bot in history.
The product is exactly the basic plastic mediocrity that Oakley are known for but I am now having to raise this as theft with Amex to try to get my money back for my order.

Vacation Emergency - fixed

While vacationing in the area, my prescription glasses screw came out. I couldn’t find optometrist and found myself at this store. They are able to help me fix my glasses. They have stylish sunglasses and products. Highly recommend this store.

I bought the Oakley glasses on March…

I bought the Oakley glasses on March 7th. Today is March 19th, and I still haven't received the glasses. I still can't see where the package is going; it doesn't show where the package is. The tracking number says they still haven't received anything on the shipping site. Oakley also doesn't have the full information, and they don't provide you with any information.

Terrible quality for the price paid

Terrible quality for the price paid. Paid over £100 for a pair of sunglasses and the first time in a hot country the film has bubbled and xome off the lenses. Better off buying £5 fakes. Avoid oakley, cheap chinese rubbish.

Lost $700 due to inability to process an online order

I would be cautious of ordering through the online portal. I made and order of prescription sunglasses, and of course made the order using FSA money that was about to expire. The order went through and then the struggle began.

Order was estimated to deliver a few days later and after that day passed, I sent a request for an update with no reply. After a second request for update, I got a reply that there was an order issue and they were looking deeper into it. After several more days, I sent yet another update request, with the same reply of we are looking into it.

A couple days after that, I got an apology about the problem and that they were still looking into it.

Finally, I got an email that my order had been cancelled. I called to ask what happened and was told that someone cancelled on my behalf After requesting a supervisor, I was told that their system was not able to see any information on the order and so they cancelled it after three weeks of leading me on. How can their system not see the order details when I had a full detail list in the confirmation email that they sent originally. Makes no sense.

I spent FSA dollars that were expiring and so now I am out close to $700 and have nothing to show for it. I did get an apology and a coupon for a discount on a future online purchase, which will likely never happen. I ordered from Oakley believing that they actually stood behind their product and am out $700 as a result. Be careful when considering how to spend expiring FSA funds.

Edit: after thinking back through it, I am less frustrated by the loss of FSA dollars, that’s on me. The main frustration really comes from the lack of communication by Oakley during this process. I had to reach out for every update request and then out of the blue got an email that my order had been cancelled with no explanation. In this case the ordering issue was out of my control, their ordering system did not process the order properly, but I am the one that had to reach out for details and then ultimately had the order quietly cancelled.

I wish the helmet ear pads was all wrong with this brand

Bought a helmet through SkatePro and that was fine, with only the flaw that Oakley states their MOD 1 has removable ear pads. Well, that is true, but you'll have velcro strip and the boa lock weirdly in your head or the 2 flaps of the in-lining around your head in any case.

I wish that was all tho. I broke my helmet and sent it back for a replacement, which is an awesome feature, don't get me wrong, BUT now that it finally arrived after 3 weeks of waiting (I wouldn't recommend relying on getting the replacement fast at all):
1. I didn't get to choose the colour I initially had, white, nor did they even have black in the whole site (not just out of stock).
2. The helmet arrived stained and had parts falling off (the boa lock adjustment thing) so I assume they just sent me something they couldn't put up for sale on the site..

Not planning to at least buy helmets from Oakley anymore, otherwise have always been happy with the brand :/
