I bought the HSTN Amethyst Transition…

I bought the HSTN Amethyst Transition glasses and they do not work and customer support is terrible. Do not recommend, get the ray bans instead.

This cowl is sick, absolutely solid piece of gear. Love it. Thinking about grabbing the other colorway just to have both. Love these unique offerings.

Not worth the hype.

The Meta Vanguard are such a disappointment. Purchased these in December 2025. Constantly have issues getting the case to charge. The left speaker keeps playing music quieter than the right. I’ve tried all the trouble-shooting online. Very often have to repeat myself telling Meta to stop recording. Recording video drains the battery very quickly even when you use the lower resolution. The one plus is the clarity of the video is great. Would I buy these again? Absolutely not. Would I recommend these to friends? Absolutely not. For the price I paid, I expected a better quality product.

Servicio atención cliente y garantía

Compré unas gafas y las lentes se deterioraron años después. Tenían marcas como si una capa del plástico se hubiera derretido. Aun así, se hicieron cargo de ello y pese a que las había comprado hacía mucho tiempo y no directamente a Oakley, las reemplazaron. 10/10

Bad quality frame. never again.

I mounted some prescribed lenses into a Oakley frame. Temple broke twice. The 1st time under warranty period, as there were no spare they replaced the whole frame. When it broke a second time they offered me 10% discount on a new pair.

I asked for a pair of compatible temples. that should not be that difficult /expensive. Not posible....

I did not use the discount . the lenses are even more expensive that the frame. I had to through out the whole set. I will never buy these nice looking bad quality expensive glases again.

I see I am not the only one, the last review on Truspilot indicates a similar issue

Bought RX sunglasses from Oakley.com

Bought RX sunglasses from Oakley.com, polarized, custom frame and lense combo - they are expensive, ~$500. Have purchased several pairs. Frame broke at temple after owning 13 months. I understand their warrantly is 24 mos. Filed a warranty claim and got a form email response denying warrantly fix. Best they can do is replace for $100 at Lensecrafters. Crappy customer service!

Oakley MOD1 saved my life!

Oakley MOD1 - MIPS saved my life!!
While at my local ski/snowboard resort, was boarding in the terrain park and took a nasty fall and landed on my head! The helmet cracked but did its job and protected my head. So thankful I was wearing this helmet and will be ordering another one! Thank you!!

Not Oakleys Best Frames For Active People

Liked these frames should have bought the XL size. Glasses slide off when sweating, Satin Grey Smoke color frames fit better than the polished clear frames. There is no way to tighten the arms when they loosen so my polished clear pair don’t get worn anymore as they no longer stay level and fall off when I look down or bend over. My carbon grey pair of these frames fell off and broke at the bridge, so these are also unwearable. $$650 for frames plus cost of lenses that are after 1.5 years of use are pretty much useless. Both frames also have the round hinge assembly that both bend quite easily. Not my best Oakley frame investment, mostly disappointed because I bought two frames and I can no longer use either one.

Outstanding quality and fast delivery

I recently purchased a pair of customised Oakley sunglasses and couldn’t be happier. The delivery was surprisingly fast, especially considering they were custom-built, and the quality is exactly what you’d expect from Oakley — exceptional.
The fit, finish and lenses are spot on, and they feel genuinely built to last. That’s one of the main reasons I keep coming back to Oakley: my previous pair is still going strong after 9 years, which says everything about their durability.
Premium product, excellent service, and worth every penny. Highly recommended.

Misleading promotions and poor customer service

I had a very disappointing experience with Oakley’s online store.

On two separate occasions, I placed orders for ski goggles advertised at 50% off. In both cases, the orders were confirmed and paid for, and in both cases the discounted item was later cancelled due to lack of stock.

In the first order, I also added a second pair of goggles at full price so I could use a £20 welcome discount, which clearly could not be applied to discounted items. After Oakley cancelled the discounted goggles, they recalculated the promotion and charged me more than expected for the remaining item, even though the discount was never applicable to the cancelled product.

Customer service responses took around 24 hours each time and came from different agents. After several back-and-forth messages, no fair solution was offered, so I had to escalate the issue to my credit card provider.

Seeing discounted products cancelled twice after purchase, while the same models remain available on the website without the discount, feels misleading. Overall, unreliable stock information, unfair charges and very poor customer service.

The purchasing process is so difficult

The purchasing process is so difficult, I wish there was some logic to it. I am really frustrated as I’m trying to buy the eye jacket redux with the sapphire lenses, but it is only available for prescription, even though I don’t need any prescription…. Why not make it available across the board if it exists? Also, with the prescription one, return is not possible, as it is considered as customisable… I just expect a US level sales journey from a US company

A replica that isn’t suitable for skiing

Purchased as a Christmas gift in October for my niece. Opened on Christmas Day and helmet arrived cracked. Contacted customer service and was told the warranty didn’t cover cracks. Helmet never worn to ski and Oakley does nothing!! The helmet is very flimsy if you look at the bottom. Very thin plastic, so I would not recommend the helmet for skiing. It’s more suitable as a Shiffrin replica helmet for display on a shelf.

Claims of expanded field of view, clarity, and goggle comfort lived up to their claims!

Today was my first day using the Flow Scape goggles (size large - Sapphire Iridium). It was a full sun day with the morning temp starting out around 10 degrees F. I've used Line Miners for years and loved them. The Flow Scape is a step change improvement. Sitting on the chair and looking straight ahead, I could see my ski buddy to my left in my peripheral vision. I've never experienced that before - I'm used to a more narrow view. I noticed a marked improvement looking down too. When skiing at higher speeds it's amazing what a difference the wider vision means as I'm trying to quickly watch for people coming up from behind or being aware of people who may be turning into my path from the side - just picking them up in my peripheral vision and not having to lose focus on my path ahead. It is a game changer for me.
The clarity of the lens is also amazing. The single layer lens is crystal clear, and the images are sharp.
I had no issues at all with fogging.
After skiing for a couple of hours we took a break, and normally I have foam "imprints" on my face from the goggles, but not so with these. The "3-D molded foam" they use really made an improvement in comfort for me.
These things are expensive, but I'm sold. They are worth it to me. I couldn't stop talking about them with my ski buddy...
I can't wait to see how the Iced Iridium low-light lens works on dark/snowy days.

Quality sux

Im on my 3rd pair of hstn, love the shape but this 3rd pair the quality is rubbish for the price you pay. The arch over your nose now has seperate silicon peices that fall off, That's not quality especially when to replace is $38 plus postage for the replacement for a peice of silicon. There was nothing wrong with the old design.

Apparently they are supposed to be fog resistant...

I purchased this goggle as it was described and advertised as the best anti fog goggle on the market. Turns out its a complete lie! I was super exited to use them on my ski trip but I have been nothing but disappointed with the goggle. First day on the mountain the goggle collected moisture on the inside of the lense which then caused it to frost up due to the cold conditions. I am paying over $350 for a pair of goggles I would hope that they wouldn't fog up so easily. I guess I am wrong
