Unresponsive and products are crap
Ordered leather furniture and it peeled apart so had to pay for replacement covers. They took months to come in and turns out they didn't send all the correct pieces, twice now. Upholster has had my furniture for over 6 months waiting on them to finally send correct pieces. The other set I ordered came with a bent piece that took a year to replace. Even the companies I have ordered through are frustrated dealing with them. Steer clear, they are unresponsive and the products are crap
Great products at great prices.
Palliser is a great vendor for us
Palliser is a great vendor for us. I think the fabric for accents could be better.

PARTNERS FOR OVER 40 YEARS. THEY MUST BE DOING SOMETHING RIGHT!
OUR LONG TERM (OVER 40 YEARS)
RELATIONSHIP AS A RETAIL PARTNER WITH PALLISER IS BASED ON THE QUALITY AND CONSISTENCY OF THEIR PRODUCTS, THEIR EXCELLENT SERVICE THAT IS EXTENDED TO OUR CUSTOMERS, AND THE SUPERIOR SERVICE PROVIDED TO US FROM THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE, SALES AND MANAGEMENT TEAM
Great Canadian Quality
We are very happy with the quality and service we receive from Palliser Furniture. Palliser is an excellent Canadian brand, and we highly recommend them.
Stay away!
My new leather recliner turned up last week. First problem was after the delivery guys unpacked everything they discovered there were no bolts etc to actually assemble it.
5 days later they come back. Once assembled I discover itâs NOT the chair model I had ordered! I sat in it anyway just to get a feel and discovered the manual reclining mechanism would not spring back into place to lock in the desired reclining position!
I immediately asked for a refund but got told there had to be an âinvestigationâ into what had happened, and that I would need to wait 2 weeks for a decision. Honestly Iâm not holding my breath.
You tell me, is that worth a 1 star review?
Love our Titan sectional!!
We purchased a Palliser Titan sofa 8 month ago and we LOVE it! The recliner seats are super comfortable and the mechanism seems very durable. We open and close the seats multiple times daily with no problems. We bought our sectional from a reputable dealer in the Birmingham area and it was delivered in great condition and they adjusted everything and gave us good instructions on how to use the mechanical functions. This is our second Palliser sofa and I highly recommend the products that we have purchased.
Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. Had the leather sofa for 3 months and back cushions started to lose their shape. They gave me instructions to fluff the cushions which did absolutely nothing. Do NOT buy from them unless you want to waste money.
Leather couch blues
I purchased a white leather couch made by Palliser. Within a couple of months, the color faded out in one area. I had a warranty that covered it (which I paid for) and I was sent a new one. I was dusting the couch about a week after receiving it. I noticed a perfect circle flaw on the top of one of the cushions. It isn't obvious unless it is in a certain light. But it feels much thinner than the rest of the sofa. My warranty would not cover it because it was a manufacturing flaw. Macy's gave me a 30 percent credit. I contacted Palliser because I wanted to know about the flaw and what might happen to it (get worse) in the future. They would not acknowledge any responsibility and just gave me the run around. I wish I had read all the reviews before purchasing.
"I recently purchased a Palliser SofaâŠ
"I recently purchased a Palliser Sofa Recliner, but unfortunately, I am not satisfied with the quality of this furniture. The reclining mechanism seems to be less reliable than I expected. On a few occasions, the recliner has failed to engage properly, leaving me feeling frustrated and disappointed.
While the design of the sofa is sleek and modern, I feel that the overall quality of the materials and workmanship falls short of what I would expect from a premium brand like Palliser.
In summary, I would not recommend this sofa recliner due to my experience with its quality. While the design is attractive, the materials and workmanship do not meet my expectations, and the reclining mechanism is not as reliable as I had hoped. If you are looking for a high-quality, reliable sofa recliner, I suggest exploring other options."
Disappointed
I purchased a âleatherâ sofa and two chairs a year and a half ago, I recently noticed two small spots had peeled off of the arm of one of the chairs. I immediately contacted the store, where I had purchased them, and sent along photos. After some back and forth, Liz, from Jordanâs in New Minus, N.S. got back to me yesterday to say that Palliser agreed to replace the portions of leather, however I would be charged for them, plus taxes and $15.00 for shipping. In addition, I would also have to pay for the repairs. My husband and I, both retired, are the only two in this homeâŠ.this furniture has never been misused. My old leather furniture is downstairs in the rec room, it is about 20 years old and there is not a mark on any of the leather. I am torn about spending more money, wondering if the peeling will continue. I bought this furniture thinking that it would be of superior quality and that it would last for years. I also thought that a well known brand, like Palliser, would stand behind their product and provide better service to their customer. I am now wishing that I had returned to Leonâs and bought a much cheaper set that I would get another 20 years out of. ð
We have been working with Mike B
We have been working with Mike B. on online chat for 3 weeks. Without his help and information I would have never ordered this substantial investment. And unfortunately the retailers in my area did not have your sectionals on the floor and were not well educated. Twice they steered us wrong toward costly mistakes. Mike saved both of those from happening. Your website is good, but with so many wonderful options, the questions were numerous. He was the only way I received correct information. We placed our custom order today with confidence that our new furniture will be long lasting and perfect for our family needs.
Excellent after sales support from Palliser
I had purchased two Palliser recliners from their (previous) authorized dealer Parks Furniture in Hamilton. Unfortunately the power recliner mechanism of one of the sofas failed and needed to be replaced under warranty. Palliser service advised me to register my warranty claim through Parks. My experience dealing with Parks has been dismal to say the least. They are no longer being an authorized dealer of Palliser felt they no longer had any responsibility to facilitate the repair. I had been trying to get this warranty issue sorted with Parks on behalf of Palliser since November 2022. It was difficult from the beginning once Parks was involved, and I even had to drive 35km each way twice to visit the Parks showroom because they would not return my calls or emails to their service department.
Frustrated by Parks dragging their feet, I again reached out to Palliser myself, when I learned a month had passed and they had yet to order the part from Palliser. I was advised by Palliser that I could initiate the part order and have it sent to the Parks' service department. I did this and waited for Parks to let me know when they received the part. After another prolonged period without communication from Parks, I had to reach out to Palliser again to get the FedEx delivery report to prove that the part was received by Parks before they would even acknowledge receipt of the part.
The part was shipped on no charge basis to Parks furniture as per your standard warranty terms. I was advised I would have to pay Parks for the actual freight and labor for a Parks technician to install the replacement mechanism. Parks initially advised me that the total charge would be $90.54 which I agreed. However they arbitrarily hiked the price up to $153.16 once the part was received. Although I found this as highly unethical and unprofessional I reluctantly agreed just to get my recliner repaired and move on. When I asked why the fee was higher, I was told they were charging a handling fee for the part which they received at no cost from Palliser. Parks then insisted that the service charges be paid in advance either in cash or through Interac E-transfer which I was not comfortable with, and contacted Beverly for assistance.
Beverly immediately got in touch with Parks service manager to let them know they shouldnât charge for the part provided to them by Palliser above the shipping freight cost, and tried to reason with Parks to accept advance credit card payment to no avail. She was able to have Parks finally agree to me paying the technician in cash on arrival and before the work commenced. The owner of Parks furniture (Patrick Gabriel) upon learning of this from his service manager, got annoyed and belligerent that I had contacted Beverly. He reneged on the agreement and refused to provide any service whatsoever. He demanded payment for the freight and his handling charge for the part, before Parks would hand over the free replacement part from Palliser, to any technician Beverly or I could arrange.
This was when Beverly stepped in and went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that I would not be held at ransom by Parks.
She not only arranged for the part to be shipped directly to me, but also found and contacted a technician on my behalf. She was extremely attentive and she listened to all my concerns with a great deal of patience. She has a caring approach and demonstrates true professionalism. I would especially like to commend Beverly for her professionalism towards and engagement with customers.
My positive experience dealing with Beverly is the prime reason that I will continue to use Palliser for my future needs. Beverly has already provided me with a list of other well regarded Authorized Palliser dealers, and I am happy I will not have to go through Parks in the future.
Based on my experience with Beverlyâs customer service, I will definitely refer Palliser to all my friends, family, and business associates.
We bought 2 recliners
We bought 2 recliners. We do not have pets or young children. We treat our home with respect. After 2 -3 months we noticed that the fabric on the footrests was pilling and looked dreadful. We contacted the retailer that we bought them from and sent photos. The retailer sent someone to take photos. We sent more photos to Palliser who sent a replacement piece of fabric for each footrest. The upholsterer that came to replace the fabric said no point in doing this - the fabric is not fit for purpose. Then yesterday evening the reclining mechanism stopped working! The company are a disgrace to Canadian manufacturing!
Bought our sofas
Bought our sofas, leather according to the swatch, a few years ago. Honestly we hardly used them because they were for the living room and because we have a family room that we use the most. Last year they started to peel off similar to when we have a sun burn and we peel off the skin. They look discussing and what upsets me the most is that I hardly used them, was not on my budget to buy new sofas and mainly because it said leather and honestly do not know what I bought. Very much disappointed
Do not buy Palliser!
Do not buy Palliser!! Recieved our new, very expensive leather sectional and the fitment is absolutly terrible. If our couch was on display at the store we would not have bought it even at 70% off. We Sent in Pics and did the 48 hour reporting thing only to be told it was fine and within tolerance. Along with the email was a picture of our sectional at the factory for proof, but it was assembled backwards. No wonder the pieces don't fit together properly. 7 months of BS and dozens of conversations, they refuse to fix the issue. They can deliver you a piece of junk and when you say it is unacceptable they consider it "within tolerance" and you are stuck with it. It has a 1-1/2 inch gap between two seat cushions and the adjacent cushion is now colapsing into the gap. Another seat cushion is an inch lower than the ones on either side of it. One end recliner sticks out in front an inch beyond the piece beside it. Trust me you are stuck with what you get. Even their repair guy said it was wrong. Take your chances with off shore stuff, you will probably get better service at 1/4 the price. Or just buy another cheap one every three years, you will still be ahead.
