Bought a sectional for $5,500.00. Waited several months. I have had it for 6 months. It looks great except the corner piece has wrinkles in the seating and the rest of the sectional is overstuffed. So far it seems durable but is the most uncomfortable furniture I have ever owned. Very hard and you cannot sit where they join as it is ridiculously uncomfortable.

Warning do not buy from this company! Poor quality and no help from customer service. I guarantee that within one year u will have a major problem with your furniture. You can find better furniture at Walmart. Worst company ever

I purchased a loveseat from Palliser and it was the worst experience I’ve ever had the leather is cracking and looks just disgusting. I have contacted them over a dozen times their manager and sales department and I am getting nowhere.

We bought a Palliser sofa and chair set from Jordan's in New Minas, Nova Scotia, within less than 12 months the seat and the back cushions are collapsing, badly, by as much as 2" / 50 mm.

When we complained to Jordan's they said "the foam inside the cushions hasn't collapsed, it's relaxed !!!"
If it "relaxes" any further we won't be far off sitting on the floor.

Jordan's went on to say "this is to be expected" odd how they didn't mention that before we paid $4,025 for the sofa and chair.

As for being expected, I'm 75 my wife is 73, I've lost count of how MANY sofa's and chairs we have bought in our 52 years of marriage, we know what to expect from a sofa and a chair, 10 years or more, NOT 10 months !!!

To add insult to injury we asked Jordan's to come and look at the sofa and chair, their store is 20 minutes away, but they said "just send us photos."

After seeing the photos they offered to replace the foam inserts, when I asked "what with" they said, "the same stuff" !!!

What use is that, as Einstein said “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.”

If the foam "relaxed" {for that read} collapsed in less than 12 months of use, would we need Einstein to tell us how long the replacement foam would last !

In the 3 months since we complained to Jordan's we haven't heard a word from Palliser.

We thought we were doing the right thing buying "Made in Canada" not to mention supporting Jordan's, a local / Family owned business.

Things like this are stressful at any age, but believe me when you're 75 stress is a potential killer. Jordan's can't even be bothered coming to look, they simply insist that the cushions haven't collapsed, they've simply relaxed.

I WISH I was as "relaxed" as they say the cushions are, but the stress this is putting me through, I'm more likely to collapse than relax, I don't want to suffer another heart attack.

My wife and I would appreciate some help, we would really appreciate it if you would give Jordan' a call to let them know what you think of the way we are being treated. Jordan's # is 902 681 7745.

I bought a beautiful Pallisar leather recliner in February 2017. In a couple of years the padding was sagged so much I was having difficulty getting out of it. (I am a senior with arthritis). Two days before Christmas I went to recline the chair to have a nap and the bottom seat crashed to the floor and I had to call people to assist me to get out. I was stuck! Now they want to charge me $79.95 to come and just assess it. They said if it is the frame, the frame is covered for 7 years, but not the labour. To me this product is Asian quality, not what I would expect from a Canadian manufacturer. Never again a Palliser. If I don't get a satisfactory response from Palliser, I will put this on social media so no one will buy their poor quality products.

Bought a custom leather sofa. The most uncomfortable sofa ever. Lumpy ansmd starting to sag already.

Very disapointed. My wife and I finally were able to spend a good amount of money on a couch, with the idea that spending a lot more upfront on a reliable, Canadian made couch would be better than buying an Ikea or such couch. Well, my experience with Palliser has been not very good.

We noticed about a year and a half after buying our couch that the seams where the cushions meet the base of the couch was starting to rip. We contacted Palliser, which was a hassle in itself, and they offered to fix it, however I have to pay for 20% of the cost. What kind of warranty doesnt cover manufacture defects and/or poor craftsman ship? I also learned that their "warranty" goes down several % points each year, making the buyer pay for warranty support! What an absolute joke. I have Ikea seating that has been utterly abused, and doesnt have a single rip on it.

Its a shame. Very comfortable couch, but the lack of support from Palliser is abysmal at best. I will never buy another product from them.

I ordered a new down Palliser sofa which ran $7,000. Having had 2 down sofas from other manufacturers in the past, I was excited to receive this sofa from Palliser expecting a quality item. Within a very short time my family was experiencing the sharp prickle of feathers poking them as they sat on the sofa. We were forced to place towels on the sofa to be able to sit comfortably. Pallister was contacted multiple times and have refused to help or provide any restitution saying this is what can happen with down sofas. Obviously Palliser believes this is normal for their products but is not true with other manufacturers of down sofas. I would never buy another Palliser product. Be warned that I experienced an inferior product for top dollar and was treated with disdain when trying to get help. Wish I could provide a negative star rating! Horrible experience with Palliser who obviously don't care about the quality of their product, their reputation or their customers.

Bought a table there for our dining room. The people on the floor were very helpful and gave me realistic expectations for when I should expect to receive my item. It was a bit of a wait, but they were honest, and I actually received it earlier in their suggested timeline! Overall friendly staff who wasn’t too pushy, just answered any questions I had and gave appropriate recommendations. Would come back for our eventual need for side tables!

We purchased our sofa and accent chair in 1982. They were extremely comfortable and very durable. So much so that in 2009 we decided to have the set reupholstered only because the upholstery was outdated by then. The upholsterer said the frames were still in excellent condition. It’s in our family room today, 40 years later, still as comfortable as ever!

I have purchased multiple Palliser products over the last 20 years, including a recliner set that I still use to this day, purchased in 2004. I have never been more impressed with a furniture line.

Our sectional we boughthas been absolutely fantastic. Really pulls the room together. And our kids have been jumping off and on it non stop and it’s held up really really well. Really a tribute to the quality of the manufacturing and durability of the materials used. Definitely coming back for future furniture needs!

I love my Palliser sectional!! It was custom made to order with the color I chose. Yes, it took 7 months to build but it was worth the wait. It has a low profile back that adjusts up for those who want a headrest. It has two recliners that are easy to use and very comfortable. The cushions are securely attached and I don't have to keep plumping the pillows or adjusting the cushions. Pricey but if you can afford it, it's worth the price. Most of the negative reviews are about the quality of leather. I got a beautiful easy clean fabric and love it.

We bought a $9,500 "leather" three pieces living room set, which turned out to be part leather only. After weeks one sofa seat showed a 2" bubble and it and the chair seat had collapsed about one inch. We were kept on the hook for almost seven months to have both seats exchanged despite pressure by City Furniture for Palliser to comply with their warranty. In all my years and that is many I have never been dealt with so shoddy by any company and I will never buy their products from them again.

I purchased a sofa bed from Palliser. The sofa bed is very poorly constructed. The seating pillows do not fit properly. They pillows are about 1 /12 to 2 inches too small. The back pillows do not fit properly in the fabric sleeve, they are all crooked. The retail store contacted customer service on my behalf. I have supplied pictures. I was told that there’s nothing wrong with the pillows and to just pull and fix them. I did not get in touch with customer service the first few months of my purchase because I was hoping that the pillows would eventually fall in place. I was hoping by purchasing a Canadian made sofa bed that I would get a quality product. I will never recommend a Palliser product.

Sectional came with defects-three blemishes in one area of the lounge.
Palliser would not replace.
Third bad experience with this company.
Will see if a class action lawsuit can be started.

I bought a palliser leather chair about two years ago, May 3, 2022 the metal frame broke and the store picked up the chair; well within the seven year warranty and I also purchased an extended warranty. It is now Sep. 10 2022 and I still don't have a chair you can decide for yourself whether to deal with them, personally when I spend $1400 on a chair which is of the highest quality I expect more than this. I truly wish I had bought the $1800 chair from the competitor because I would be sitting on it now.

In June 2022 the Titan sectional we purchased 6 months earlier was delivered. Not one of the 5 pieces was without dirt stains. One of the power recliners did not work, there was tear in the fabric and the stitching was puckered throughout. When one of the headrests was opened there was full dirt handprint visible! After contacting the store we purchased the sectional from, Palliser insisted we document the damage. Palliser agreed to replace all of the pieces. Ten weeks later we received the "new" sectional. Although not as bad as the first sectional the pieces were delivered with fabric damage and dirt stains. Clearly, Palliser has very poor quality control. I would never purchase another piece of furniture manufatured by this company.

Echoing other reviews, Palliser furniture is poorly constructed and uncomfortable. Two of four electric recliners in the sectional broke within 14 months, and the company stood fast behind their one-year warranty. Not much coverage for a $7,000 USD sectional. I would certainly not recommend Palliser and I would never buy additional furniture from this company.

Bought four seats three arrived inoperable. 75% fallout! Repairman came months later “ must have been a bad day on the assembly line I cannot fix them”! Palliser finally agrees to replace we wait another 10 weeks, the dealer Theater Seat Store is useless as well. I asked them to take the three seats back when they delivered the new ones and they refused said we had to dispose of them ourselves. We are seniors who live on the second floor had to pay someone to take them away. Palliser furniture is not the company they once were. DO NOT BUY EXPENSIVE JUNK! Save yourself the headaches we had. Read all the reviews!
