Really shocking customer service
Really shocking customer service. I have an outstanding Volvo V60 seat belt recall, therefore safety issue and have been waiting for over 14 months for it to get sorted. Now my airbag light has come on and Parks Ayr won't even pick it up! Shocking after the hundreds I have spent with this garage. Would not recommend. They cannot still blame COVID.

Arranged to test drive an e208 Peugeot at Parks Bathgate by phone on the Tuesday. I turned up on the Friday with my driving licence as agreed, only to be told the car wasn't there and to come back on Tuesday. I travelled almost 30mins each way to get there. Utterly disgusted!

I had excellent service from Gordon in Nissan new car sales, he was thorough and very attentive. Sadly I didn't buy my Nissan here because of Parks inability to price match or even try,leaving me no alternative but to buy the car elsewhere in order to save a four figure sum. Appalling lack of customer service.
We bought a new Volvo from Park's of Ayr in March 2020. Because of covid we did very low mileage ( approx 4,000 miles ) before it's first service was due.
In March this year it went for it's first service. After only 3,250 miles after Park's had serviced the car a warning message came up saying oil level low fill with one litre of oil. I was surprised and concerned at this . I have had many new cars of various makes and NEVER had to put oil into a car after 3,250 miles from being serviced .
I contacted the service department and asked for their thought / explanation why this situation had developed. That was over a month ago . First of all the service manager was to contact me ,then when they had not I went back asking what was happening and was told the person was on leave and they would get the workshop manager to answer my concerns. I went back and ask them to reply to me within a week as I was concerned about the matter. That was some three weeks ago and I have had no reply ! I find it appalling that they think it is acceptable to ignore customers like this .
The upshot is I will never set foot on Park's premises again. They have no idea what customer service is. If I had read Trustpilot reviews before buying the car I would never have considered doing business with this company. So I am now trying to get an answer out of Volvo which is also proving difficult !
Look like it could be my first and last Volvo.

Meet My Expectations
Received my car back yesterday From Parks Citroen East Kilbride after 2 weeks of shocking service.
Put my car in for a simple diagnosis, I was Quoted £111.
By the time I received my car back yesterday it had risen to £4492. With no work done.
Parks Citroen East Kilbride have told me (This is copied from their email to me) "Unfortunately we are clearly unable to meet your expectations and as such I would suggest that you exercise your right to use a different Citroen dealership as we will no longer pursue or support a relationship with either yourself or your vehicle."
That was very nice of them to stop me going to "PARKS CITROEN EAST KILBRIDE".
It would be easy to get annoyed for being "Barred" from using Parks Citroen East Kilbride, but it is actually a relief.
There is a clear lack of leadership in the service department. No one responds to online forms, no one phones back despite leaving details. How do they monitor communications? I don't think they do. They do not record calls because they would then be accountable for what they say. e.g. Your repair will cost £111 and then 2 weeks later to be told its nearly £5000.
Do they have meetings to discuss how well the service department is performing? clearly not because if they did they would not be allowed to treat good honest customers the way they do. One member of the service team was rude and obnoxious. But Parks Citroen East Kilbride wont know that because they don't record calls.
I have submitted a form to the Motor Ombudsman as well as involving Citroen UK.
So Please be aware whatever your expectations are, it doesn't matter, what matters is what "PARKS CITROEN EAST KILBRIDE" want you to accept what their expectations are.
So to summarise. If you want a call back, or a reply to an online form, OR for Parks Citroen East Kilbride" to honour a quote , This Citroen dealership is clearly not for you.
However If you want to be treated with no respect, except a quote that won't get honoured, or hope to get a reply to a phone call or online form then PARKS CITROEN EAST KILBRIDE" is the company for you. But I guess like me you won't want to be treated this way so go to a real Citroen service centre where your custom is valued and your expectations will almost certainly be met.
Avoid Parks Honda.Particularly Inverness Dealership
Bought an approved used Honda CRV from Parks Honda Inverness.. within a few months and not many miles the car developed a fault that causes the car to only drive at 30mph.. having had the fault diagnosed Parks Honda Inverness said the part would take a few weeks but the car could be driven safely, however when a car houses into âLimp modeâ and wonât go over 30mph it certainly isnât safe to drive.. requested a courtesy vehicle from Parks Inverness but they flat refused as they have stated itâs my problem and not theirs .. thatâs an absolute disgrace.. so now we have no transport , we are pensioners and bought what we thought was a reliable car from a reputable dealership.. neither of which is true!! So avoid Parks Honda, Inverness in particular, their customer service is non existent abd once they have your money they simply do not card!!
