App used to be good, now whatever they have done to it has made it absolutely useless. You cant add images with ease anymore. Used to use for signing documents the update has made this virtually impossible now.

I completely agree with the other reviews about the update implemented a while ago. PDFEscape used to be an awesome tool and is now practically unusable. Please bring back the old version.

Bought the premium pack with desktop but it does not work. No amount of asking for a refund worked. They kept trying to correct the issue but could not and then finally they tell me the period to cancel is over. Poor company...... Needs some money. It is better they just ask for donations. It's better than cheating people. Just another company in Canada going the American way!

2 weeks Ive been waiting for a resolution to the issues Im having, I even paid for membership. Each time I went to fill in text fields, lots of others appeared over the rest of the page. I have asked for a refund and all I get is that you are all very busy!! I don't think so, something here stinks!!
I definitely will not be recommending this anymore. WHERE IS MY REFUND?

Very disappointed with PDFescape. I used to use this a lot and it was very quick and easy to use. Since the update, it is now the worst PDF editor out.

Who ever reviewed, tested and signed off on this new version should not be employed.

If I could give a negative star(s), I would. The "update" is a joke. SOMEONE SHOULD BE LOOKING FOR A NEW LINE OF WORK. What employment pool are you even hiring from?

PDFescape...you should be ashamed.

This company is very responsive and can be counted on to answer any inquiry.

I have been a premium subsriber since 2015. I have since cancelled my subscription when this new update came out. They literally destroyed there product. Very very dissapointed as it was my go-to and saved so much time before. I cannot believe in this modern day and age how something goes from ahead of industry to completely frustrating it's users (which I'm sure are significant since only a small amount of clients will take the time to write a negative review here instead of just cancelling and moving on). I hope this fix this but in the meantime it is a HARD NO. MS PAINT is better than PDF escape.

Quick response to request for information.

Prior to the revamp of the product, it was wonderful. Now, it is a mess. I cannot cancel the subscription. I tried via their website, several times, emailed and received tons of responses claiming their backlogged. My bank account has pending charges for a product I do not use. I want OUT but no one is assisting me. I will block them from my bank account. Take a few minutes to explore other services instead of this one.

PDFEscape decided to do a major upgrade in December 2022

Now you can't do a simple copy text and paste into the document. Among other strange usability issues.

I probably have told over 10 people about this product.

They are all disappointed and now scrambling to find a pdf editor.

We all used it to fill in legal documents, subscription docs, purchase agreements, and more

Please revert to the last version for the sake of all the innocent children who will one day grow up and need a PDF editor.

Otherwise still love what you used to have.

I just want to chime in here that this new update is terrible. I used to use pdf-escape all of the time. I recommended it to colleagues regularly who who all loved it. It's truly unusable now. I can't even begin to list all the things wrong with the update. What were the creators thinking??? This update is so bad that I keep thinking that Adobe sabotaged the app.

Its good to see that PDF escape have not heeded the outpouring of criticism from its users. A great application rendered totally unusable by the recent self sabotage upgrade. PDF escape should try downgrading their upgrade then i would gladly give 5 star review - as it stands 1 star is high praise indeed. Please change it back and I will subscribe

I can just use Macbook annotation since they totally screwed how it used to work.

So amazingly bad and wonky that I can't find words in the English language that adequately describe my astonishment in this poorly thought out "upgrade". Have used this tool for years and now can't do a simple whiteout edit. Oh wait, 💩 best describes this company's product now.

I've worked with the free online version of PDF Escape for YEARS. The recent upgrade (I can't really call it an "upgrade") is terrible. It is no longer the stress-free, user-friendly site it once was. I have tried to "relearn" how to apply the tools to edit pdfs and each time, something completely wonky happens. Where in the past this one of my "go to" sites, it is now a site I cannot use and will never recommend. Whoever was in charge of the change, you created a subpar, completely non user-friendly product. I can't even. If this review gets any looks from people who can change this product back, PLEASE DO!
