The whole PGL team from start to finish were exceptionally helpful and accommodating. Apart from a brief hiccup at the beginning which was rectified swiftly, the whole experience was reassuring. When it came to the Camp week, drop off went really smoothly. Each evening our eldest was able to call us to update us on all the fun activities they had done and this was really reassuring to hear how much fun they were having. Midweek the team called us to arrange contact with our youngest so that we could speak to him and get some updates which was really nice. At pick up it was really organised and reassuring to see the security they had in place. The staff were already cheerful and helpful, and when the boys were brought back, they had big smiles on their faces. Handover went really well, although the staff are all quite young, they were really approachable and happy to talk to us about what the boys had been up to and how they had been for the whole week. Both boys have asked if they can go again next year, which is a big thumbs up for us. Thank you, Osmington Bay PGL.

The 3 siblings, who have different personalities and interests, all enjoyed the experience and wish to return next year. They all enjoyed the activities and the food. 2 of the girls fell into different age brackets but staff accommodated them together when they were a bit anxious about sleeping in different rooms.

First PGL experience for our SEN school was outstanding.The care and empathy from the staff was incredible.All our questions been answered and solutions were made to suit everyone from our group.

This is a great place for kids with plenty of activities. They won't be left aside and a team would provide them with sufficient attention.

My son has hust returned from his 3rd year ar summer camp and he is still loving it. Teams are great, it is very easy to communicate with the centre if / when required.

My son has been fortunate enough to have attended the same week as some of the boys he met on his 1st year. It's genuinely heartwarming.

He comments on his experience in the same way I commented on mine when I attended 15 years ago.

I highly recommend this centre.

Excellent activities particularly the day-time ones, very popular for both my 15-year old and 12-year old. Well organised, safe environment, great staff.

This was my kids first “residential experience” and they loved it. They came home full of stories and new experiences. Highly recommend and we will undoubtedly be sending our kids again in the future. The team at Merchants Hill did a great job and they enabled new experiences in a safe and professional environment.

Kids camp 2026 was a lot of fun at Dalguise, this year. My children were opportune to engage in various activities which include the burn walk, fencing, archery, survivor and much more.
The evening entertainment ranged from disco, campfire and much more over a 7 day peroid.

Fantastic camp with great staff and excellent opportunities for children to have fun, build skills and confidence.

Based on my children’s positive experience last year, I felt confident booking with PGL again. However, I was disappointed and concerned by aspects of their recent stay at Newby Wiske.

Both of my children and my friend’s son reported feeling hungry for much of the stay, with the hot-food portions being particularly small. I was also concerned that my request to speak with my children went unanswered for almost 40 hours, and when I eventually spoke to my son, a staff member stood directly beside him throughout the call, meaning he had no opportunity to speak with any degree of privacy.

My son is booked to return shortly, so I have raised these concerns directly with PGL and hope they will respond constructively and provide reassurance before his next visit.

My child had such a fantastic time here, he loved every day and wants to go back again for another adventure break.

Extremely well organized, staff take the time to explain everything, patient and understanding with the kids and a great variety of activities

Have been to PGL Barton Hall twice now. The accomodation and general look and feel of the place is a bit tired but the staff and activity equipment is top notch.
The staff are always really friendly, patient and helpful. There's a great range of activities and the swimming pool is really nice when the weather is good.

Fantastic organisation from start to finish. I was very comfortable with my daughter being there and most importantly she had a brilliant time, would highly recommend.

Son had a fab week (Mon-Fri) at Newby Wiske. For his first time away from home, we were reassured by daily arranged calls. Despite going by himself, he made friends with the help of the team leader.
Now that he's back home, he cannot stop talking about it. Will surely book again.

My daughter left camp because she was being bullied not acceptable I wouldn’t recommend booking

I highly recommend PGL! its a fantastic place for kids, it's a very safe environment and full of activities! most important to me is that my daughter makes new friendships, learning to be independent and creats lots of memories! she has been going for last 4 years, the stuff is amazing, keeping them save and entertain, and if any issues they communicate with parents and try to solve it! Best place for kids
