A very enjoyable week of fun activities and accommodation worth the money.

My children aged 13 both spent a wonderful week at Boreatton Park. Activities were fun and they are excited to return again next summer. Staff were helpful and went above and beyond in every situation. I would not hesitate to use PGL again and both boys are already looking forward to next year's adventure. The location is stunning set deep in the countryside surrounded by fields and trees and all the staff I encountered were helpful.

Chloe chose the Osmington location because of the activities shown on the web site, there were a lot of water based activities shown. Chloe was disappointed that over the stay she only did one water based activity.
Chloe had a bad experience of another girl being mean to her. The staff were great about it but Chloe had to share a room with the girl and her attitude ruined Chloe's experience.

PGL is a fantastic experience for children. The centres are fantastic, such a big range of activities with really well trained staff. The time away from parents with other children doing new things seems so good for children's independence and development.

Complete lack of safeguarding, and poor oversight by staff meant that bullying and intimidation from other children went unchecked, resulting in a distressing experience for my child who has additional needs ( which were clearly highlighted on booking). Consequently I would absolutely not be recommending PGL, particularly for children who have additional needs.

It's a well run organisation but my kids were a bit disappointed in the food (quality and quantity) and not so impressed by the activities. My sense (since I went myself 30 years ago) is there is a lot more focus on health and safety and the more adventurous activities have been cut (like quad biking, trail bikes, sailing).

My daughter has been to Dalguise for the last three years,its a great experience for children.The staff are all brilliant,my daughter is very shy but she has never had a problem there,she has loved every single trip.There is a massive selection of activities,they are kept busy all day,every day. The value for money is amazing,3 or 4 activities every day plus food and accommodation,can't fault it at all,would highly recommend to anyone

My daughter had an amazing time at PGL Windmil Hill during her 2-night stay. She absolutely loved the activities and even wished she could have stayed longer so she could complete all the activities available. The variety of experiences on offer kept her engaged and excited throughout her stay.
The accommodation was excellent, with clean and spacious rooms that made her feel comfortable and settled. The day staff were fantastic, always friendly, energetic, and accommodating, which really added to the positive experience.
She also enjoyed the food very much. The portions were just right, and there was plenty to keep her satisfied after a busy day of activities.
One thing I particularly appreciated was the no-phone policy during daytime activities. I think it's wonderful that children are encouraged to be fully present, enjoy the moment, interact with others, and simply be kids rather than being attached to their gadgets all day.
The only area for improvement would be the supervision at night. While it's understandable that teenage boys can sometimes be mischievous, it would be appreciated if the night staff were a little stricter when dealing with disruptive behaviour. My daughter and the other girls found it difficult to sleep because some boys were repeatedly knocking on doors and running away late into the evening.
Overall, my daughter thoroughly enjoyed her stay and came home with lots of great memories. Despite the minor issue at night, PGL provided a fun, active, and memorable experience that she would happily do again.

At this tween/early teen age, situations are beginning to get a little uncomfortable. PGL has given us two opportunities now to force our children to work through them. The challenge this year is that our kids in the 11-13 range visited with those that were younger, and they felt it! We did not realize PGL staggered groups but we know for next time.

While, right now, our children do not want to return for a visit to ANY site, I am confident we can find a good experience for next summer.

At all times, we felt they were safe. They DID go with phones and had opportunity to ring, and they saved those times for what was truly important. We rang the on-call number and were immediately in contact with staff who tried, with other staff, to facilitate a better experience. Couldn't have been more pleased.

My 8 year old daughter had the most fantastic 2 night 3 day stay at Bawdsey Manor this Summer. She went alone but quickly settled in, made friends, had great new experiences and challenges and was devastated to leave. I didn't get and didn't want a detailed run down from staff of what she did or was doing the whole time, so I only have her account to go by, but the staff did contact me once about something minor and that reassured me that they do have a close and continuous eye on all aspects of their wellbeing. I will be booking again at my daughter's request.

My son and his friends had the best time! they barely wanted to call or talk to us the entire week they were so enthralled with the experience and the activities.

My daughter came back extremely happy with her experience at PGL Liddington and already said next year she would like to stay 2 weeks instead of one.

Excellent value for money and the most fun holiday with my 14yr old son.
Booking again for next summer!

Both my daughters repeatedly ask when they can return to PGL camp (Marchants Hill) they have been 3 times already this year during the school holidays. They always come back to full of enthusiasm and tell us how much fun they had at all of the activities. Never a dull moment, often they come back shattered and needing several days to recover from all the excitement.

My 11 yr old grandson has had a traumatic year -his dig died, his grandma nearly died and his parents split up. After his initial three nights he asked to stay for another four. Then another week (this was refused). While he was at PGL he said he felt different - freer and happier. I credit the staff and the other children with helping him put down new happy memories over his traumatic ones.

First time my two 13 year old teenagers went to PGL Osmington Bay and they thoroughly enjoyed and are already asking to go again
They made a lot of new friends too.
Their group leader Rebecca was a blast and made them feel at home

Perfect experience lovely calm people and beautiful local venue. Couldn’t have asked for more! A very happy child who didn’t want to leave and so proud of what he accomplished having complex needs! Thank you!

My son had an excellent trip. He loved all the activities, he enjoyed the food (a bit of a rarity) and really engaged with the entire trip.

He was smiling from ear to ear when I had a video call with him and was exactly the same when I picked him up. In his words he had “the best time ever”

Staff were fantastic throughout and communicated really clearly when needed and the location at Bawdsley Manor was idyllic.
