Hi I booked a time to get tyres fitted on your online site got to garage at Kilmarnock to find out only two fitters, then waited 3 hours to have tyres replaced, then to be told they had lost my centre wheel cap from my wheel that they would order a replacement a week later heard nothing back about it , went in yesterday to be told he had just ordered it this is certainly not good customer service nor satisfaction , I will try again next week to see about my replacement centre cap .

Absolutely disrespectful

Atrocious experience

So, the long story short - I was advised by my mechanic that two tyres on my car were faulty

I went to protyre to have them replaced.

They confused me by inspecting the faulty tires and stating that they were great

Finally, they assumed that only one was bad

I had that one replaced

Yet to mention, nothing was quick, unreliable when sticking to the time of bookings which they made themselves, no word to apologise for that anywhere across. Instead, after an hourly waiting and asking the guy about when I would be sorted he snarled at me "how could I know" and it was already an hour behind time. I felt rebuked :)

Ok, I thought that at least the tyres were sorted

But no, I was wrong about it too

The next day I needed to drive my gf to Edinburgh Airport over the motorway

It was an awe, a horror. I almost got killed driving the hardly steerable car off the skid several times

All way long wobbliness, huge shimmy, juddering wheel, shaking, pulling off to the side, losing grip. Normal emergency

The clue here is to explain that while they worked fitting the tyre, I simultaneously requested to have the other one checked once again on the device and balanced to even the two up together

It was important so I asked directly

The guy who was fitting it nodded and promised to do it

But he lied about it and has never done it

Should he has done, I wouldn't have had in trouble on the road, as when on the balancing device, the tyre would clearly show as scrap and even a blind man would have noticed it then.

If they did as requested...... Though

So, I contacted the garage over the phone whilst on my way back from Edinburgh and they promised to fix it urgently

I didn't lose my temper , I was a cup in hand and polite

Irrespective of that I had all reasons to be mad

I came to the garage, waited an hour, then understood that I was being ignored, so I left.

Prior to that, I made a new booking which was on Monday at 1

I arrived, however I was running a little late this time as held back on my way by circumstances

I apologized to them for that

And they said that I would be sorted as priority as soon

I asked for clarity how long that would take to their mind

I would hear that up to max 30.mins

Since I came with a slight delay, I understood this shift and saw no problems in waiting the said time patiently

The problem though turned out to be bigger than that

After over one hour of being ignored again, I started getting a bit jittered

But continued to.wait patiently

Moreover, I didn't feel well that that. I hadn't slept the night before and had nausea.

Waiting for hours like that was an ordeal

After subsequent half an hour or more of being ghosted I wanted to finally ask them about the situation

When I came to the office I could see that there was nothing going on, at least two bays were totally vacant and ready to receive a car on. No one was even there. Other than the boss, who however pretended to have been seeing me, even though he saw me perfectly well.

I understood that it was some spiteful, vindictiveness of the garage staff and that they were doing all that on purpose.

Enough was enough

Not only did they totally screw the job in the first place, which was a blatant botchery by far, but what's worse, then had no guts to act with the sense of integrity and take ownership of own blinders

Instead, zero consideration, unassuming attitude, all bout myself and no thoughts of others by slightest

What a gobsmack

The question is - would you like to have your tyres fitted there? And later on drive your children in the car that is about to ram into a tree? I don't think so

So think twice before going there

Now, I have paid for the job that wasn't done, and irrespectively, I will have to go elsewhere to pay one more time for the same to have the car roadworthy

My son had his car booked in for 10am for a slow puncture repair. I took the car but the booking couldn’t be found on the system, even after showing the confirmation email. I was told they had just started two big jobs and it would be over an hour before they could look at it. I accepted that and arrived back about 11:30 to see the car had not moved from where I had parked it. I was assured it would be looked at shortly. Eventually left around 12:15, full £30 charged. Got home and checked tyre pressure, found it to be 41psi when it should only be 31. Have always went here but will now reconsider.

I got my car service here ( the gold service) plus additional work that was needing done. Every single thing was explained to me in detail. Nothing was hidden I saw the prices on the computer. Even if I needed something explained again stuff were very happy to do this. Totally great service felt completely at ease & would highly recommend

Fixed my tyre in jig time

Always the cheapest price for branded tyres. I had a small issue on my last visit to the Kilmarnock branch and they went above and beyond to make sure it was rectified. Cannot rate them highly enough. Staff were first class and took the time to chat with my young son. I won't go anywhere else now.

Manager had helped to rectify and fix the issue and im content at that..

Absolutely raging, don't go to this place. Firstly told me the tracking had been done and my 2 and half week old tyre would need replaced soon. They hadn't done the tracking. Got home to find my house and work keys missing from my central console, drove back up and the guy who worked on it magically found them. Manager said he'd probably done it by accident. Total joke of a place, don't use them.

Been to Abbotsinch a few times now and always been dealt with very professionally. Their prices are also very reasonable and competitive.
Would highly recommend and I'd go back again and again.

Slow puncture which has been ongoing for sometime. I was fully expexting to have to replace the tyre, but thankfuly it could be fixed instead,

Great guys and great service couldn’t be happier with my van battery for my Renault traffic 👍

Garage were easy to deal with and can't find any Damage on my alloys which is a bonus as I have with other more known tyre services
