Caroline Davidson and Nicholas Austin at River Homes were superb from start to finish, doing their best to make our house purchase as smooth as possible. They were always on the front foot to solve any issues that naturally arose and pushed the deal along so that we actually completed a rather complex purchase in under 12 weeks. Excellent service all round.

I just completed purchase of a fabulous 2 bedroom flat with great views of Hammersmith Bridge and I couldn’t be happier. He even negotiated a better price than any of us expected to get. In turbulent times Phillip, Sue and the team were excellent navigating our family through the selling process, from start to finish. Riverhomes have excellent local knowledge of Strand-on-the-Green area which is a huge advantage for prospective buyers. Accurate, professional and friendly service.

We have just moved in to a new lovely flat rented out by River Homes and couldn’t be happier. They really care: Caroline handled the whole initial process with extreme efficiency and professionalism, but also was always available to answer questions and collect additional information from landlord or previous tenants for us. Ines, who then took over for the final stages, was also extremely nice and helpful, making the process stress free in spite of the pandemic. And then Annabel, who oversees the management of the property, and who is thoughtful, proactive, always available and genuinely looking after the tenants. We were honestly surprise about the level of care and attention all of them invest, and we highly recommend renting with them as it really does make the difference.

We approached Riverhomes as it was local to the property my wife and I wanted to rent.
From the get go we felt everything was very professional, with quick results.
We had Ines visit our property, a few days after our enquiry, and this was followed up by arranging a photographer etc and having it online in a matter of weeks.
Majority of viewings were done my Caroline, who was faultless - with covid-19 lingering in the air. She ensured all viewings taking place were followed precisely by the government guild-lines. I think there was approx 5/6 viewings before she managed to find us a suitable tenant, who we are very happy with.
All paperwork etc was done instantly, and it’s been a few months since property has been on rent and we have had no issues.

I have dealt with Riverhomes over a period of 3 years and found the entire team nothing but professional, helpful and understanding.

When I was searching for a property Phillip and Sue from the Chiswick office took a lot of time to show me many different property's and understand my specific needs. Once I had settle on an apartment they continued to engage both me and the landlord to ensure that everything was set up for my moving in which was a smooth process thanks to the efforts they had put in.

This was a long tenancy so I naturally had dealings with the property management team on several occasions. Annabel and Sarah managed any issues I had with the apartment quickly and efficiently, these included all the normal annual checks and some standout issues such as heating and plumbing problems. I never had to chase, communication was clear and efficient and that was very important to me. The works were always carried out on time and to plan, the team would then always follow up to check the work was satisfactory.

When it came time to end my tenancy, again the team of Erin and Annabel managed my transition in an incredibly professional manner but most importantly they regularly demonstrated care for me and my small children. There was occasions where I would honestly say they went far beyond what could be expected from a property management agency and showed a patience that was both unexpected and very welcome. I faced some challenges, personally, around my departure but Annabel supported me through them in a way that really helped me.

In short, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Riverhomes as a letting agent or a property management company. The fact they are a family business themselves translates through to their teams who really do go the extra mile to manage the balance between tenants and landlords needs. Personally, I've found this both helpful and refreshing.

At the time (2020) I appreciated the work ethic at river homes and felt secure when I purchased my boat. But since then said boat almost fell apart and it emerged that there were many structural problems that cost a huge amount to fix. The agents were either ignorant and therefore unprofessional about this or downright dishonest. Either way I recommend thinking twice before purchasing a boat from river homes.

We sold our boat in Chelsea Harbour through Riverhomes. I would like to thank Caroline Davidson and Ian for all the hard work and effort they put achieving the successful sale.
In addition to them being helpful, friendly and courteous at all times, I was especially appreciative of how pro-active and problem solving they were.
With the sale of any major asset there are a few daunting moments but they remained positive and supportive throughout. Each used their vast experience to problem solve and contribute toward the best possible outcome.

Recently my flat became vacant and required re-letting. Sue took charge, was very knowledgeable, and gave good advice and guidance on the re-letting. The flat was put on the market and within a couple of days, Sue had found some great tenants, very impressive.
The office manager Beth also provided great and efficient service in sorting out the various documents required for re-letting, and Phil ensures that everything went smoothly with the previous tenant’s departure.
The property maintenance team of Sara and Annabel is also great. They deal with issues quickly and efficiently and if requested can come up with quotes for resolving issues. They have a great selection of suitable “trades’ people”/contractors that can come and undertake any work required. Between tenancies recently, I required some work around two of the windows and the redecorating of the whole flat. Annabel did an excellent job of coordinating the work. The chosen contractors were also good did an excellent job and were clean and tidy ensuring that dustsheets were laid whenever appropriate
As a Landlord I have been with Riverhomes for over 15 years, and they have been very efficient and have always found me quality tenants quickly and efficiently I would highly recommend them as a quality estate agents
