I appreciate the move manager Lorraine always responds to our email promptly. She always keep us up to date and let us know what is outstanding on our side, which helps us to speed up the process. She is very professional. Thank you Lorraine being so supportive and helpful!

I signed up with this agent today to see a property for sale. It’s been a nightmare thus far. I’ve had my details shared to agents in my area ( despite being listed and contracted already for the sale of my home), which I did not give permission for. I’ve had spam emails addresses to Mr, despite being the MRS with the details logged with Romans (insulting and sexist much?). I’ve had the booking cancelled because the vendor won’t do viewings on weekends (they clearly don’t want to sell, so why is it listed on Rightmove?
This whole thing has been a debacle and all because I shared my email ( which I had to spell out 6 times on 2 phone calls because they got it wrong) and phone number to be listed and vetted for the viewing.
These agents are muppets and so incredibly unprofessional.. don’t bother! Go elsewhere they will mess you around and breech privacy laws to boot!!!

I have always found the staff at Romans Bracknell to be very helpful and professional in their approach to their clients.

Excellent experience except for the move manager or other managers will attend call only once if you make a hundred calls.

So I've recently vacated a 1 bedroom flat and handed back to Romans after living there 3 years. My experience.
Romans have zero interest in your property after you have moved in, a 6 monthly check was done and I sometimes received the report, with no problems highlighted.
During my notice period, I had a very rude phone call from one of there letting managers, resulting in me hanging up. Move forward to the move out and final inspection. I repainted the bedroom to white and also a hallway, the place was thoughroly cleaned including shampooing the carpets. I even sent photos directly to the landlord who was very happy and we left on good terms.
The Romans report was conducted and was awful, it picked up every last item it could, ignoring the fact it hadn;t been renovated for at least 20 years and was showing signs of wear and damage from previous tennants - were talking chips on kitchen cupboards, discolouring of light switches etc. It ended up with the landlord insisting Romans release my deposit, which they finally did 3 weeks after I had vacated.
So - go into an agreement with your eyes open, expect them to try everything to keep your deposit. and best suggestion, avoid altogether.
Rude, unprofessional senior lettings manager and quite devious with the final reports.

Ongoing communications with the agent I deal with, Donna‑Marie Brant​​​​ are efficient and courteous. She keeps me informed and replies to my emails or calls in short order. If I'm ever frustrated it's usually down to a maintenance or tenant issue, not the service I'm receiving so generally happy with the service.

As a property owner with Romans of Bracknell, I am continuously impressed by the exceptional level of service provided, particularly by Donna, who manages our let. Donna is not only efficient and responsive but also incredibly helpful, always ready to go above and beyond in her role.

Worst agency we have worked with among several up and down the UK.
There is little interest shown by anyone from Manager or reps and no continuity with anybody.
No use of mobile phones so only messages can be left and return calls are few and far between.
Success rate has been nil so moving to another agency.

Romans has fully managed our rental property for 15 years. During that time, they have been highly professional, communicative and consistent. Our current manager, Donna-Marie Brant has been excellent. When things went wrong, Donna was always there to sort things out. I’m pretty sure our tenants also had a good experience. Overall highly recommended.

Donna is very quick to pass on any issues our tenants have, then in turn arrange the various contractors to get a quote for the work necessary.

I find Donna very professional, polite, patient and understanding a credit to Romans.

The senior property manager has been with us on this journey when I became a landlord. She is quick in responding to my queries and has arranged promptly for any maintenance work required at the property or for any other issues raised by the tenant. The continuity is great as she is the only agent, I have known during my rental experience and is one of the factors why I have chosen to remain with Romans.

We would like to thank Romans, more particularly Lorraine Eivers, our Romans move manager, for her continual persistence and caring response and support throughout the difficult process of purchasing our home. She was always reassuring and had an efficient way of staying informed and connected. Thank you Lorraine!

I was renting with them 1 year. After finishing the contract, did the regular check out report and here started to get extra charges ( professional cleaning, even though in the check in report was stated that was not done one), I will say what was their comments, dust floor in one room, one radiator dusted, and in one room blinders were dusted, they charged me for this £60.
Another thing that I want to mention is that the place I rented was very old maisonette, with lots scratches on the doors, bathroom, some built in wardrobes were not even closing properly, which again I had to mention this in the check in report, that said will be noted. And surprise at the end, was not taken all into consideration, I was charged for holes that existed on the doors, or because I have been connected to internet with Virgin Media and they put their small block inside.
And the last thing when I have received the rest of the deposit ( after more than 3 weeks),another surprise, was not the amount agreed. Again I had to chase and find out that their system charged me for an extra week of rent, even though I had the proof that I signed and gave them keys an earlier date.
So my advice for those people who are planning to rent with Romans, try to avoid as much as possible them, and if this is the last thing you have as an option, for your check in report, make sure you put every single nail on it otherwise you will be charged for them.

I relocated from Ireland 5 half years ago and my first property to rent was with Romans for 3 years , so I am so glad my first property to buy was also through Romans but a different branch this time. Dealing with all the staff in each branch through Rentals through the years and now my first purchase they are so professional and lovely to deal with . Thanks Romans , to Jack and Jonathan for the quick sale of my first purchase through Romans

Romans have been excellent, especially the sales manager Daisy and her team, they made the selling process seamless and we are very grateful for all their efforts. Also the move manager Lorraine Eivers was great, she was constantly in contact, updating us on a regular basis. Romans you have been great, if we ever move again we will be back!

Right from when i signed up with Romans it was clear they were better Estate agents than the rest. Professional, give good advice and solutions, always helpful. Rohan and Richard from the Bracknell office were particularly helpful. Of course i will use them again in the future.
