Romans - High Wycombe レビュー 

Romans found a tenant on the second attempt. The tenant paid a years rent upfront and a deposit. For some reason, Romans took the deposit and agreed to pass it to me. They took a week to send the money to me. I complained and was advised that originally I was misinformed that I would receive the money within 1-3 days, apparently it's always been 5-7 days. I found the admin manager rude and unhelpful, but as the branch manager was on holiday, someone else called me to let me know - he was okay. Also, they would not provide a contractor to help me put a smoke alarm in the property - as I am not living locally. Also, about as awkward as you can get when I asked them to send a key to myself or my own contractor - so I had to get the contractor to visit their offices to collect. I wont be using them again, their rates are very high for the customer service I received (nearly 1600 to find a tenant let only). Be warned they will sit on your money as long as they can to obtain the interest on it and do as little as possible for their over inflated prices.

Romans have been managing a pair of buy-to-lets for us for about eight years, and have done it very well. My particular thanks go to our primary contact, Stacey Cowap, who keeps us well informed about events without becoming intrusive, acts as conduit to specialised departments when required, and remains in (apparent) patient good humour when I bang on about stuff I often don’t completely understand. I’d also like to mention Lewis Bebb who navigates us gracefully through any issues surrounding changes in tenants. It’s people like these that make it worthwhile to be a client of Romans.

I have been working with Stacey Cowap at Roman's. She has been fantastic and ensuring repairs and maintenance on the property are rapid and good value. Living overseas, this is a huge help and I know that the tenants will get taken care of swiftly. Stacey also communicates clearly, professionally and promptly.

Sapphire helped us along the way and was so lovely, she was very professional throughout the whole process. The perfect experience. Quick appointment to value the house. Got a valuation 10’s of £1000’s higher than anyone else. Made the sale within 3 days of going on the market therefore Romans making us money. Communication was excellent. Any unanswered call was returned within an hour. Emails always answered but most of all, honesty. They were honest about everything. Whatever they said they would do they did and we really felt they fought our corner and represented us. We were their priority. Would definitely use again. The people we felt with were Stephanie, Sapphire and James. Great team!

Romans were pretty good. I am a first time buyer so I don’t have any previous experience to compare things but I felt overall they were good.

As a Landlord I have found my dealings with Stacey Cowap have always been beyond the call of duty. Always helpful and ready to advise on a difficult situation. My calls are replied to quickly and she is able to discuss matters with great knowledge. I can't recommend her highly enough.

My experience with Romans has been great on the whole. Most notebly conversations over email or phone have been resolved in a fashionable and polite manner when I have spoken to Stacey Cowap

We bought our first house through Romans 2 years ago and have now sold through them always had a brilliant service. Stephanie and her team have been very helpful and reliable through the process

From start to finish with Romans it has been horrendous. We wanted to move in on the date they had advertised on their website due to both starting new jobs however we got a call to say that is needed to be delayed by 5 days due to electricity and gas inspection and cleaning the property. This was incredibly annoying but not as much as when we were finally handed the keys to move in the flat was filthy and had not been cleaned at all. I went through the complaints procedure and managed to get compensation money and a written email that we were able to leave the flat in the same condition how we found it. Now our tenancy is over and Romans have still not given us our deposit back. They tried to charge £250 in professional cleaning costs even after I uploaded evidence. Romans hugely lack communication within their company and I honestly cannot say a positive thing about our experience with them. I honestly advice anyone to avoid them.
