🇫🇷Faites attention, vous ne reverrez jamais l’entièreté de votre caution. De plus, les appartements sont surpeuplés. Nous étions 7 dans un appartement de moins de 100 m2 avec une petite cuisine. Bien sûr tout cela n’est pas dit à l’avance.

J'ai loué une chambre dans un appartement en colocation à Barcelone pour 1 semestre Erasmus. Cette annonce figurait sur spotahome dont RoomHousing était le bailleur. L'appartement était fidèle aux photos, ma chambre était en très bonne état.
La communication avec RoomHousing a été parfaite de A à Z car j'ai eu un petit soucis au début sur spotahome. J'avais réservé une chambre qui avait déjà était réservé... Room Housing m'a gentillement proposé d'autres chambres de leur agence alors qu'à ce moment là je ne leur avais rien versé, j'avais uniquement payé la réservation sur spotahome de la première chambre. Par la suite, ils m'ont également re versé le delta car le loyer de la deuxième chambre était légèrement moins cher.
Ils sont très réactifs par message sur whatsapp, ce que j'ai trouvé très rassurant quand on part à l'étranger sans repère. Dès qu'il y avait un problème dans l'appartement, le problème était réglé très vite par un technicien. Le service de ménage, 1 fois par semaine était également au top ! Mes colocataires n'étaient pas toujours très propre mais RoomHousing n'a pas hésité à rappeler les règles de savoir-vivre en communauté et de propreté !
Le seul petit détail que j'aurai aimé savoir est qu'il y avait une chambre de l'appartement destiné pour éventuellement 2 personnes, nous étions donc 6 personnes alors que l'annonce stipulait "Appartement 5 chambres", ce qui peut porter à confusion ...
Je suis très satisfaite de mon expérience avec RoomHousing et je vous recommande l'agence de Barcelone qui est très sérieuse et le site Spotahome qui est très sécurisé.

Avant de partir, j'avais regardé les précédents avis sur RoomHousing et j'étais très stressée car certaines personnes ont vécu de mauvaises expériences... Sachez que sur Barcelone, tout s'est très bien passé pour moi!

Misleading apartments and pictures, poor communication and bad state of the premises, they give no help unless it involves payments to them, prices are far too high for what they offer, you are better just booking with any other company

Room Housing accepted my application knowing that the originally reserved room would not be available for two more months, which caused me to lose the possibility to cancel a previous booking on Idealista (€680 lost).

As a result, I was forced to accept an alternative room I did not freely choose, with structural metro noise making normal rest impossible.
When I requested a solution, the company simply hid behind contract clauses and refused to take responsibility for their prior mismanagement.

Not recommended, especially for international students.

Same experience for me, and literally everyone I met who used this agency. You book a room, you pay for it, you receive confirmations… and then they suddenly call you to tell you the room is “not available anymore”.
The price-to-quality ratio is absurd. What I ended up with was extremely overpriced for what it was: almost no natural light, completely misleading pictures, and an overall terrible living environment. There were cockroaches… and even worse, the cleaning lady regularly stole items (towels, dish soap, sponges, etc.).
They even advertise “heating” on the listing, but all they provide is a tiny portable electric heater that does absolutely nothing in winter. The insulation is horrible — freezing cold in winter even with the heater on, and unbearably hot in summer. Nothing about the apartment is suitable for actual living conditions.
Most of the 5-star reviews are fake: this is something many former tenants have already pointed out, and I completely agree. Real experiences tell a very different story.

The place was extremely well located, right in the centre and a very good price for what it is. The people are all very kind and fast at communicating back when there is a problem or question. I recommend renting with Room Housing, the apartment is well set up and have all the basic utensils and a weekly cleaner. I had no problems at all and a lovely experience. I would book with them again!

con el trato de día a día con los chicos de oficina que siempre están presente en cada detalle (Jennifer, Paloma, Tatiana y Nacho) al igual que la limpieza y el mantenimiento siempre pendientes y en perfectas condiciones gracias a Alejandra y Deibys, los elegiría una y mil veces más ya llevamos 5 meses donde nos han podido responder hasta por lo más mínimo. La verdad que contratar con los chicos de Room Housing es lo mejor que se puede hacer

Siempre claros con la información, entrega de llaves a tiempo y habitación acorde a fotografías. Regreso de depósito sin inconveniente y siempre en comunicación

En general todo bien el mes que estuve alojado, por suerte me tocaron buenos compañeros y lo único malo el precio que está un poco alto, pero bueno por el servicio que dan y por la localización puede ser entendible.

If you're thinking of renting through this agency, think twice. My experience has been extremely disappointing and costly. They appear professional at first, but once you’ve paid, the service drops off completely.

Communication is poor, promises are broken, and transparency is nonexistent. In my case, I ended up losing money without getting the housing I was promised. No clear contracts, no accountability, and no real support once they have your payment.

This feels more like a scam than a legitimate business. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, stay away from this agency. There are far more reliable alternatives out there.

Do not go there if you value your money. This is a fraudulent operation that will try to extract money from you at everything.
Key issues:
• Deposit theft: They never refund deposits and provide no official receipts or invoices as proof of payment
• Extreme overcharging: €980 for a tiny room shared with 7 people is completely unreasonable
• No documentation: They deliberately avoid giving proper invoices to make it impossible to recover your money
• Minimal refunds: Even if you do get anything back, expect only 1/10th of what you paid
My advice: RUN. Find accommodation elsewhere.

Fue un gran servicio desde el inicio del trámite. Cero quejas y siempre muy atentos. Recomendado al 100%

La verdad que la experiencia ha sido despreciable. El precio demasiado alto, el piso totalmente viejo y sucio. La atención bastante pésima, solo para cobrar estaban atentos porque si no pagabas el día 28 te sumaban cada día 10 euros… y así unas cuantas cosas más. Sinceramente no lo recomiendo y es un abuso el precio de la habitación y lo que ofrecen por el precio.

Muy mala experiencias, las fotos que envían y los videos no son como estaba las habitación ni el piso. Los videos y fotos eran de años atrás. El piso estaba gastado, nuestro piso el suelo sucio y roto, baño con hongos, armario con hongos y paredes sucias. Hay continuos problemas con el wifi, el agua caliente y se ha caído la luz en nuestra habitación. Nos han dejado varios días sin electricidad y no hay repuesta. El espacio tiene lo básico, pero en muy malas condiciones, las ollas y sartenes viejos, utensilios de cocina tuvimos que comprar las personas que vivimos acá. La señora que hace aseo apenas limpia y se queja de la basura, nos amenazan con cobrarnos multas si el día de limpieza está sucio o la basura está muy llena, no tiene ningún sentido. Pésimo lugar, no lo recomiendo para nada. Estafadores.

I booked a room using Spotahome platform, I paid one month in advance, I received all confirmation email with all info in a very short time.
The problem is that room housing people called me today to say… sorry the room you booked 20 days ago is not available as someone already booked some minutes before you….

The reality is that they put a beautiful room to get reservation and then they change telling you that someone booked before you…
I spent 30 minutes today with a lady from roomhousing without solving the problem.

I suggest to stay far away from room housing company if you have to book a room

The worst service I’ve ever experienced 😐 They’ve been withholding my deposit for over a month, and sending deductions for utility charges, for which they refuse to provide invoices. We rented a tiny, overpriced room, roughly 6sqm room for two people for a month and a half and now they’re trying to impose additional charges for utilities that were already paid... This is outrageous. Stay away from these scammers!!!

Estuve alojado con Roomhousing por un postgrado de 3 meses.
Las habitaciones son geniales y fueron bastante fáciles todos los trámites con ellos.
Atendieron las peticiones que tuve durante mi estancia y volvería a repetir de ser necesario.

Me he alojado en una habitación por dos semestres de estudio y me ha gustado la experiencia.

La atención ha sido excelente durante toda la estancia, las habitaciones son de calidad y muy cómodas, están reformadas con un toque moderno y elegante.

Me encanta mi habitación y el servicio. Son muy amables y responden súper rápido a todas mis necesidades. Lo recomiendo un montón!
