Visited here last week and was blown away from start to finish. the team here couldn't do enough for you. Josh was amazing and genuinely catered to our needs, he really does create that wow factor. Can't recommend enough, will definitely be back!

Wow! I’m lucky enough to be getting married here in a few weeks and I’m so grateful to all the staff for everything. We’ve visited the spa and hotel a few times in the run up to the wedding and the staff are great! The service is exceptional and the quality of the food and facilities is second to none. Nuno has created a wonderful, customer focused culture and I can’t commend him and his staff enough.

Amazingly wonderful place. Our third year in a row of a weeks break in one of the splendid lodges. Outdoor pool for the children, 4 hours a day included in the second to none spa, the level of service and friendliness is unsurpassed and even more commendable given the current popularity of the UK holiday market. Highly recommend

Great experience, beautifully laid out golf course, even saw some deer. Thoroughly recommend.

Having got married at Rudding Park in Dec 2010 we decided to spend 3 days between Christmas and New Year as a little celebration and planned to travel from London to do this more regularly as we have family local. Unfortunately, we were left extremely disappointed and Rudding Park is just a glimmer of its former glory. Whilst the Hotel may have spent their entire 10 years budget on the spar which is exceptional they, unfortunately, have left the inside of the hotel lacking, carpets are old dirty carpets from 10 years ago, walls damaged, hotel room doors damaged and chipped paint. Service has always been exceptional however now there is just a very small amount of staff that give hope of the former 5-star service, the bar staff are not very attentive at all and the same goes for the restaurant staff. Considering there is a service charge added to every bill of 10% (optional but who would ask for it to be removed and Rudding knows this) you would expect them to at least pour your wine at the table or indeed look to see if your glass is empty. At £330 per night for dinner, bed and breakfast (£42 each per meal on food only allowance, covers a starter and some mains) you would not expect a further 3% added to your hotel bill for cleaning the room! This is on top of the 10% service charge for everything else that is lacking. The food in the clock tower restaurant is average and certainly not worth double what you would pay anywhere else, drink is priced more expensive than most 5 star hotels due to the 10% service charge. The rooftop spa was a savour for the hotel otherwise this review would be far harsher than it is, We would certainly pay to go into the spa but unfortunately would not stay or eat at Rudding Park when there are far better alternatives for both food and service. Personally, I would rate this hotel and restaurant at best a 4 star now and the spa a 5 star. Having read the other reviews I am not sure what other people’s expectations or experiences of 5-star hotels are but having travelled the world I can assure you this is not a hotel I would remember anymore.

My husband and our little girl booked a last minute stay at Rudding Park Hotel. Considering we simply wanted a quick break, we were over the moon we discovered this gem of a hotel!
Our stay didnt quite go to plan as we had to leave after one night as our little girl fell ill, but the service from the staff, the rooms, the decor, the spa facilities...everything was just wonderful. The hotel itself and the grounds are beautiful, one of the most beautifully styled hotels we've visited, no expense spared, and the staff are fabulous. We received a lovely greeting on arrival, our little girl was warmly welcomed, and upon learning she was ill when we checked out, the lovely lady at reception brought a small toy as a gift which put a smile on our daughters face. We later received a letter in the post wishing our little girl well!
We briefly visited the spa facilities which were beautiful. I also believe there is an exclusive spa roof terrace which can be used for a little extra.
Although we couldn't fulfill our full booking, we will absolutely be returning.
The hotel is a very short drive from Harrogate, hosting Betty's tea rooms, some lovely antique stores and plenty of places to wine and dine, but although it is close to the centre, you feel far enough out to relax and unwind.

I write this review for the attention to Management to congratulate the employee Marek, who I believe is an absolute credit to Rudding Park.

Marek’s warm welcome and attentiveness throughout our stay was five star! Marek and his team were outstanding, as was the food and our server for the evening.

My only feedback would be, please say your names or ensure you wear your name badges because if you are given incentives for reviews online I would of had another three names to add to Marek’s also, one would be including our server, he wore galled if that helps and a suit, perhaps the supervisor?!...
