SES fitted a new fuse box and an outside power point for us. Everything went very well, except for a slight issue regarding our solar power generation - which they came back to fix within 48 hours, having researched how to sort it. Very pleased with their work and their timely response to the solar power issue. Would definitely use this company again. Engineers are very pleasant and diligent.

I cant believe I am leaving a bad review.
After describing the job requirements for my 80 year old mother. Clear instructions of uncovering an old kitchen cooker socket that had been removed and covered up.
The builder decides to uncover the old cabling and attaching a cover and not a plug socket which defeats the purpose of installing a cooker. So my mother has been charged £120 for a job that has not been completed as we requested. The trader also offered to install the cooker for a total of £210. This is extortionate. Poor service. Very poor.

It's the second time I use SES Electrical Contractors and I am very pleased with their services. Mark and Callum did a good job in replacing my fusebox to a safer unit. They were punctual and the work was efficiently carried out.

The most impressive thing about SES is their great communications with the customer as well as with each other. I have been using them since their founder Byron was working on his own and since then he has developed the company. I have not once had an issue with them not answering the phone and proceeding to help me immediately. I have had minor wiring in of hall lights as well as new storage heater installation. The installers work hard and efficiently and clean up after the work. They are also all nice guys.

I hired this company for my tenants as they had an issue with a ceiling light in a bedroom. The job took about 10 mins; it consisted in reattaching a wire in the switch. I was charged 120 pounds for this. The provider had in his T&C a minimum charge of 1 hour fee but in my opinion it is obscene charging this much for 10 min. I would understand it for 30 min job but not for 10min. I raised this issue sending a very polite email and I got a rude reply. Eventually the guy apologized but I don't think it is the right way to treat customers or running a business, showing a total lack of flexibility

The engineer arrived 30min early which was good for me. He was great very helpful and check my old charger and replaced it with new one and advised me accordingly thry each stage.

Excellent. Customer Services were very helpful. The electrician carried out the work (fixing three bedside lights) to a very high standard, making no mention of the fact that I myself had made an error! Thank you very much. I would highly recommend this company.

SES provides a first class service from the owner Byron and a very helpful admin team Lucy and Ed. The Technician Matthew Henderson, did a number of jobs over several days in my house; in addition he put right some faulty wiring to an extractor fan in the cloakroom and a light over a bathroom mirror. Also, I had a couple of extractor fans dating back to 1966 in the bathrooms that needed to be moved away from over the baths to a more central position. It wasn't an easy job to transfer the position of the fans from the walls to the ceiling, but Matthew found a way and did an excellent job and I am very happy with his work. Matthew and his mate Yeet were very polite, efficient and professional. I am lucky to have found such a competent company and I recommend them highly.

I had electrical issues with my boiler and it kept tripping the fuse board during the coldest days this winter and Ryan O’Carroll from SES came to my rescue. After a call in the morning SES promptly sent Ryan to my address. He was very professional and managed to locate the issue explaining everything he was doing and why. Sometimes you just don’t know if you’re going to get a cowboy and there’s always that tension at the beginning trying to determine if you can trust the engineer. Ryan’s attitude, professionalism, expertise and managing to fix the issue put me to ease. I’m now sitting in my my warm home knowing that my boiler and electrics are all functioning properly! Thank you to SES and in particular to Ryan for a job well done.

Scott did an excellent job checking our wiring and making a few improvements. Friendly, tidy and happy to go above and beyond to leave everything working nicely.

Quick, polite, efficient and fairly priced

SES are very professional and pleasant to deal with. They replaced old outside lights and installed new ones on our gate posts.On time and clear communication at all points of the job. Tidy and clean. Not cheap but a quality service
