I went to Sia in Putney to buy some products. The woman behind the till didn’t bother to look up from her phone until I said hello for the second time. The salon is dirty, with wastebins overflowing and paper on the floor. I cannot believe they do treatments like threading, waxing and lash lifts in such an unhygienic environment.

I had my nails done for my holiday just a week ago and they are already coming away. I paid £48 for BIAB which is already a premium price but the service and they experience was not.. equipment didnt work and i'm not suprised they havent lasted a week!! I really would avoid this place for nails.

I had my eyebrows done and by far this is the biggest disappointed! The lady did exactly opposite of what I asked her. She completely destroyed my eyebrows. Not just she made them extremely thin which I didn’t ask but very short were I actually asked to leave them long! I asked only to trim a bit. On the top of it she actually blamed me! I m very upset. I would never ever come back

I went in specifically for eyebrow threading and clearly requested threading only. Despite this, the staff member (Hina) proceeded to wax my brows. During the process, she removed too much hair from the inner part of my brow, leaving them visibly uneven.

When I raised my concern, she did not acknowledge the mistake and instead insisted that my brows were already like this, which was not the case. Her response felt dismissive and unprofessional. Other staff members present did acknowledge that too much had been removed and apologised.

As someone in a student-facing professional role, this has caused me distress and anxiety, as my appearance is important in my day-to-day work.

I would advise others to be cautious and ensure that their requested service is clearly followed. Based on my experience, I would not return.

Bela at Bromley Sia always does an absolutely amazing job on my eyebrows and she is so lovely.

Recently attended Sia Bromley for waxing - welcomed by many girls sitting around on their phones. Unfriendly staff, bordering rude. Went through treatment in a hostile atmosphere. Beauty rooms were filthy and then prices not competitive compared to other local places. My mum, daughter and myself will not be returning which is a shame as it’s convenient for us all. Could have coped with all negatives apart from rude staff - hard to come back from that. Avoid! Much better places to recieve your hard earned cash!

Arrived for a 4.00pm manicure at nail bar located in Brent Cross shopping mall. Shown to chair just as another lady, whom I assumed was a client, was about to sit.She excused herself but suddenly appeared alongside the manicurist. She was the manager snd she started criticising the timekeeping and behaviour of the manicurist, pointing out her lunch breaks were at wrong times and exceeded the allotted 20minutes. The manicurist was obviously very embarrassed and was trying to defend the accusations. This exchange continued with the manicurist looking very uncomfortable. She continued going through motions of the manicure but I withdrew my hands telling them I was not prepared to continue until they had finished this. The manager left, the manicure proceeded but for the entire duration I was subjected Tom chapter and verse as to the reasons for the accusations etc etc. There was no attempt to show any interest in my nails, what I actually wanted or whether I was satisfied with the results. In fact, she disappeared towards the end snd another technician completed the service, again labouring the rights snd wrongs of that particular incident and the workplace in general. The original lady then returned in time to take a payment of £25. She informed me she had been on the phone to the manager to resolve the issue. I used to go to this nail bar quite regularly some years ago but it has obviously undergone some changes and not for the better. Any competent manager will know not to discuss in-house politics and disputes in front of their bread and butter - the client!’they should also have the courtesy to express any dissatisfaction with any individual staff member in private discussion in a professional manner and most certainly NOT in a public place in front of clients I was extremrly pleased to leave such an unpleasant atmosphere which made the whole experience extremely uncomfortable. I will obviously not be returning and suggest to this company they perhaps consider retraining their staff in the basics of customer service.
Not to be recommended.

Please be warned when paying by card at this company (the stand in the middle of Brent Cross shopping centre) their staff purposely overcharge their customers!!

I usually have no issues going to Sia, and go to get my eyebrows threaded…however on this occasion the eyebrow lady looked very sly when I went to pay and didn’t show me the card machine amount - she had the machine tilted to the side so I couldn’t see, I remember thinking that was odd, but thought nothing of it as I am a regular customer so I tapped and paid….to my shock when I check my internet banking later on I had noticed she had charged me £16.00 instead of £10.00!!
That ‘off’ feeling I had was confirmed.

I went back the next day to complain and for them to fix this error and even advised them to check cctv should it need to go down that route (it’s not the cost but more so how they have treated me at this point) not one apology was given and instead the women were just chatting amongst themselves trying to work out who had made the fault.

The lady in question who overcharged me was there but played dumb.

I did manage to get my refund however I feel disgusted with how they have treated me and will not be using their services again.

Please be very vigilant and check the amount they type into their card machine should you be paying via contactless / card, I can’t be the first nor the last!! They have lost a loyal customer due to this.

Not happy at all. Messed up my eyebrows and overcharged me. Very unprofessional. She cut me and did not say anything. Very very bad experience.
They should have charge me £14 but they charged me £18. I will never go back there .

Eyebrows Threading in Croydon (Rinkal)
On Tuesday, the 30th of July 2024, I had the pleasure of visiting Sia Beauty in Croydon. I was attended to by Rinkal, who displayed an exceptional level of professionalism and demonstrated outstanding skills. Her calm demeanour, unwavering dedication, and genuine resourcefulness undoubtedly make her an invaluable asset to Sia Beauty. Rinkal's reliability and her ability to perform her duties with finesse are truly commendable. Fulham.branch very impolite staff, very greedy a d only recommend the most expensive trestments, threading done very badly with lots of hairs missed I discovered when I got home took one minute when usually at salons takes around tem mins to do a good job - I have very little facial hair to get rid of so to miss so many is very u professional and lazy. Staff chatting, giggling looking at customer ie making fun of customer clearly. Lots of terrible experiences in these reviews about this salon and otver branches including a woman whose leg was burnt by treatment & very painful etc Report this place to Trading Standard, lawyer etc if you have problems- ideally go elsewhere.

Oh my, where to start. I regularly visit the Fulham branch of Sia Beauty where my facourite therapist Rupal sees to my every need. At short notice may I add!
Rupal is so kind, polite, funny and a very caring all-round beautician. She always makes me feel at ease with any treatment, is fast, professional and such a genuine wonderful human. I truly Love, Love, Love her

Today I had a massage, and it was so blissful I struggled to remain awake for my manicure afterwards. It was the quickest, most beautiful manicure, EVER. I left feeling like Royalty, a proper pamper session.

I cannot rate her highly enough. A true gem. If only ALL Beauticians were so Wonderful!
