Is your Customer Service a Chatbot?
I emailed the support at Skybound back in December and got frustrated after several emails with no results and finally emailed the webstore account out or desperation. Weeks of emails with Customer Service and never once have they emailed me back with an update on my refund. Vague promises and reassurances that have amounted to nothing, they have never once kept their promise. I'm starting to doubt if I'm even writing with a real human being.

TERRIBLE Customer Service
I would give zero stars, if that were an option. Placed a nearly $70 order almost a month ago followed by a confirmation email stating that my order was on the way and provided a tracking number. When accessing the tracking number through their shipping company, OnTrac, it states they have received the package information from Skybound, just waiting on them to drop off the package to be shipped. Every time I notify them of this, Skybound responds saying “your order is on the way;” however, their own tracking number states “Waiting for shipping company (OnTrac) to pick up the package to be shipped.” This is beyond frustrating and one of the worst customer service experiences that I have ever had. After back and forth emailing with no resolve, I asked them to please call me. Their response “We do not provide service over the phone.” Now, I am trying to get a refund with no response.

Bought a collectors edition of Frostpunk 2. Had an issue where one of the items wasn't working per the manual that came with it. What impressed me about Skybound is that they told me they would look into it. Instead of dropping it they emailed me over a month later with clarification, which impressed me. Another thing is the collectors edition came boxed well and in perfect condition.

I ordered the Frostpunk2 collectors edition.
Since I already knew it wouldn't arrive in time for early access anyway, I can't say anything about whether what the others who got the edition late is really Skybound's fault or not.
What I can say is that I was told when ordering: we need 9-11 days for delivery.
It was there after 8 days, if you take the weekend into account, without even just 6.
The support took care of a problem I had quickly and reliably because I didn't have a tracking number.
I have rarely experienced support reacting so quickly and being able to solve my problem straight away. So for me everything was great and I would happily shop there again

Ordered the frostpunk 2 collectors they created and part of the package bundle was getting the game three days early. Took days off ready to rock. Got the game and code 2 days after release. 5 days late. They said it was a computer glitch and acted like they didn't give a crap about the wasted value. Never using this company again. Only 1 stars because the product I did get was pretty good. But the game is the primary product, which was late and customer service was garbage.

Skybound used a third party shipper who…
Skybound used a third party shipper who couldn't ship properly. In turn, many if not all of the comics that they sent out got damaged. Sadly, I purchased 147 of these.
They knew about this issue, and didn't inform me. I only found out because of another issue with their shipping. They lied to me a few times, and only by my investigative work did I figure out that they were withholding the info that they sent me damaged product.
I wasted hundreds of hours worth of time solving an issue that was 100% on them. All for nothing.
Still at the time of writing this review they aren't proactively contacting customers and letting them know that they are likely affected and received damaged product.
This is a scam company at this point. They have no ethics or morals

I spent a lot of money on the latest invincible drop and both of my orders arrived damaged with some of the worst packaging I have ever witnessed. It appears skybound subcontracted their UK distribution to a third party company and whoever was in charge of logistics/assessing QC did an appalling job. My friends and I spent a lot of money and all of our orders arrived damage. On top of this, I had another poor experience trying to claim my refund with a CSA giving unhelpful/copy and paste responses. As big supporters of skybound this feels like a cash grab with no consideration or care for the customer.
I'll Be Back
I couldn't believe it when Skybound had a $1 sale over the weekend! I picked up several compendiums and hardcovers that I'd been wanting for a while, and everything arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Definitely helped me get a head start on holiday gifts for friends and family. Planning to order again during the holiday season and hoping for some new Walking Dead collectibles. Thanks Skybound!

The customer service I got was exceptional, I’m surprised at the one star reviews. I had a written an inquiry in which I had duplicate entries of a promotion, and I asked to delete the duplicate entry. Customer service was quick, and they resolved my issue fairly quickly within an 8 hour or less period. I highly recommend connecting with them if you have any issue regarding the order or any questions and concerns!

Hi guys, I came here before making my purchase on Skybound because I thought it wasn't legit, and to be honest with all the negative review's I really thought that it wasn't, but it turns out that's far from the truth, Skybound really was legit after all, I had put in an order for the Callisto protocol collectors edition, and the price was too good to be true, I had searched the whole internet for a place that sold this collectable for a price less than the 100-300 budget, and everywhere I went, the prices just kept getting higher and higher. But a few days ago I stumbled across Skybound and experienced them for myself, not only were the prices within by budget, but the products were legit too! Their customer service was even better, thanks again Chris! anyone who is a fan of comics, or certain titles like Invincible or The Walking Dead should seriously check out these guys out, and if you have trouble receiving the items you order, then be sure to reach out and ask for a tracking order code or just ask if it was shipped from their end, I received my package in just a few days after buying it. Thanks again Skybound and keep up the great work, love the comics!
