Buying our holiday apartment
At the beginning of 2018 we decided we wanted to buy a 2nd home in Spain. Having watched sun sea and selling houses we decided that we would approach Spanish Property Choice as one of our agents. Best decision we made. Even before we arrived in Spain for our first house hunt they were amazingly helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I can’t praise their professionalism enough, even when we turned up on the wrong day for our viewings they were unfazed and rearranged things to fit us in. Unfortunately we did not find our dream home on this occasion. However, on our second visit in the summer we were more successful. Once Shaun had helped us find the property that we wanted to buy, Emma secured us the perfect deal. They made the whole buying process uncomplicated and put us in touch with all the right people. We have been so happy with SPC that we are using them to manage our winter rental, which again has been handled fabulously. Their service goes way beyond just selling property and I would definitely use them again.

A dream waiting to happen
It is my husband and mine’s life time wish to own a property in Spain and the more we watch your show, the more we look forward to our dream. From watching all the shows I feel that I have got to know you all espesially as we all come from the same neck of the woods (we are from Dudley).As soon as our finances are sorted we will be over to see you like a shot. I am regularly on your website looking to see what’s available and hopefully in the next 12-18 months we should be out to see you so you can sell us our dream with the care, love, laughter and thought that you bestow on your clients. The Garners need some training in customer service.
Tried to book a long term winter rental with these people.
They had to check with owners if property was still available although their website stated it was. Turns out it was booked even though it was showing available and is still showing available?? Ok fair enough but no updates, no apology, had to chase them all the time. Lackadaisical attitude, right arm doesn't know what the left is doing, one week wasted. Told to choose another........what to go through the same process again??
They are not alone though seems to be the way of doing business in Spain, maybe too much sun? Hopefully will find someone genuine soon if they exist.

Good Morning Roadstar, This is Sharon from Spanish Property Choice. I see you have left a review of our services and its hard for me to follow through as you don't give a name or contact for me to see which property you are referring to. I am sorry you felt our services were below standard and as a business owner I take all reviews very seriously. So if you would like to send me an email to thegarners@spanishpropertychoice.com I will look into the matter for you and take action where required. With rentals, if we have a property that is multi agent which many are, we have to contact the owners prior to a booking as we have to rely on them contacting us to say its been booked, this is very difficult for us as we have no control and many landlords forget to let us know. So our staff were correct in checking, we can't actually be blamed if the owner has rented it out privately. If it is still showing on our website (please let me know what property reference it was and I will look into this also) but I can only presume there are dates still available on our calendar so we would leave it on there of course. We do send weekly updates to you on a Tuesday if anything else comes on that matches your criteria, if you have not heard anything its because there is nothing that matches. I can not see any of my staff would not have said I am sorry this property is not available but if they did not then I personally apologies to you. Its not that we don't know what we are doing its because its not as simple as you think, we are completely in the hands of our landlords, sometimes its hard to contact them as 95% of our owners do not reside in Spain. Of course we would have asked you is there another you were interested in and to take a look on the website, it would have been nice to have been given the opportunity to have found you something but if you don't come back to us there is nothing we can do of course. Not a nice comment re too much sun and very unfair as we have not been given a chance to explain and as I say its not as easy as some may think. We have over 200 rental properties rented out at anyone time and I am by no means saying we are perfect because we are not, no business is but our staff do work very hard to help if they can. If you would like to contact me I will look into the whole matter for you and if I can help I will to find you what you are looking for. I would have responded privately to you through our normal system if you had sent me an email to complain about the service but people don't seem to do that now a days they use public forums, which is a shame without giving us the chance to resolve issues for clients one to one. I look forward to hearing from you, I will take action if I find any of my staff have fallen short in their service to you but I will also try and help you find what you are looking for if you would still like our help.
