Having recently placed an order for a fantastic used range rover that I saw online with Richard at the branch , I'm delighed with how he handled the whole process over the phone with me . Making it very easy and simple . Richard talked me through everything , including organising delivery over to Manchester for tomorrow . I couldn't recommend enough , anyone dealing with Sturgess and in particular Richard Brown . I'll be coming back to him in 12 to 18mths time when I'm ready to exchange again . Absolutely dreadful. Jaguar XF in for recall. They tried to “sell” other service even though it had been serviced a week before. Took over 2 hours to change 4 tyres!!!
Never come here unless you’re prepared to be shafted

So just to update as I can see my reviews are read by a number of people.
I did have an email from the customer service member of the team. She was pleasant and polite.
As her reponse on Trustpilot stated "we are working with this customer to come to a resolution". Now, seeing as my car (as witnessed and evidented with a FACTUAL report from the AA) is not up to scratch.. ie electrical issues and yes, again I have been fobbed off.
The resolution from Vikki was for me to part ex my vehicle in for another. So basically, they wanted to profit out of my misery. Grand. I did respond to Vikki advising, take my car. Very slow to reply. Suprise suprise. If I allowed them to buy my car we all know they'd have offered a pittance to my (full service history, 2 keys and in their words "immaculate working order") car.
Thanks for the non service and as stated, we can all see why the negative reviews for Sturgess stand at what?? 58%! Now possibly 59%. You just cant make it up can you! So, on I go to the lovely Ombudsman.

Recently bought my 4th Land Rover, 3 Freelanders and now a Discovery Sport.
From popping into the showroom on Narborough Road, the attention I received could not be faulted.
The salesman, Richard Brown, was extremely helpful and knowledgable and it didn’t take long to find me a vehicle that I was looking for. The handover went well and good follow up.

I have attempted to get a quote 3 times for a part for my Alfa Romeo Guilietta from Sturgess and received terrible service. No answer to my calls even when holding for 10 mins and when being told i could not get the quote over live chat, i have received no follow up email or phone call. Now i am stuck, no closer to getting my repair or even knowing how much it would be!

Poor customer service, you have to fight to get any faults carried out, one person says this one person said that. They're quick enough to take your money. They falsely advertise on their own website that all 2nd hand jaguar's come with a 2 year warranty, I have found out this is only if purchased from their Jaguar dealership not any of their others, unfortunately I purchased my Jag from their Fiat dealership and found out this false information. Recently my sound system has been playing up, contacted Sturgess Jaguar and got told Jaguar carried out a remote update which went wrong so it had to go in to be sorted, took my car in this morning and got told I will have to pay, why should I have to pay for a mistake Jaguar made!

I bought a car from Sturgess Aylestone road I am very pleased with the excellent service I received from saleswoman Amy Willets she was very informative and professional a big thank you Amy for selling me a great car will buy again in the future.

Contacted Sturgess Hyundai Aylestone Road last Friday evening regarding the £27k Jeep Grand Cherokee.

After 13 minutes on hold the lady apologised and said they were short staffed, so could she take my number and get someone in sales to call me back when they were free.

Well it's 4 days later now and still no contact..!!

Surely I need say no more...!

This was in actual fact my first contact back with Sturgess after having a pack of lies told to me at Sturgess Volvo....

Not a company to be dealing with in my book...

I bought a new 2018 Volvo v60 cross country lux from the Leicester dealer a fortnight ago. The salesman I dealt with was very courteous, very knowledgeable and thorough in ensuring I was well informed about all that I needed to know. I am pleased with my purchase.

Santa Fe MOTd & serviced today at Hyundai Anstey-excellent customer care again, even when I was late for the time slot.

purchased a car from them, told it was in showroom condition, agreed a tow bar would be fitted and car would be serviced. Drove over 400miles to collect. on arrival discovered that the alloy wheels had been kerbed and there was a massive (6mm diameter) stone chip on the bonnet, no towbar fitted, car was not valeted either. After driving for 600miles brake pad warning light came on, after two weeks without the use of a car the rear pads were found to have 0.5mm of material left and fronts were at 40%worn, Sturgess advised at the service the rears were 5% worn and the fronts were 10% worn, and no defects were found in the brake operation, , requested all results from the service and surprise surprise these were not available, quite obviously the service was not done. No tow bar was fitted and despite raising a customer complaint with sturgess they found they had done nothing wrong!!!! Now gone to the motoring ombudsman but do not expect to receive a ruling in my favour from them either despite the overwhelming evidence from an independent dealership who investigated the brake fault and identified the worn pads and perfectly functioning brakes.

£40k+ vehicle delivered with the wrong alloys and an issue with the tyre which was returned to the dealership and still not fixed. Only option offered to rectify the alloy issue was to return the vehicle over 100 miles to swap with a customers second hand alloys who wanted the alloys that were fitted to my vehicle. Please save yourself some hassle and go elsewhere.

Received fantastic service from Sturgess Volvo Leicester today. James and Kasper were knowledgeable, polite and a real pleasure to deal with.

After purchasing a vehicle from Sturgess motor group I'm disappointed in both the vehicle and their "so called" customer service. My car has been back in for repair on more than 5 occasions now, as I write this it is yet again in their workshop. I've had a complete gearbox oil change this did not fix the problem then a new gearbox and then after replacing my gearbox the steering rack was left loose ( at this point I put in a complaint to the complaint department to be told they had no record of this repair)!!!! a gearbox seal then split causing a leak in replacing it the mechanic split the replacement seal??!! 3 weeks almost in their workshop for this repair! It was again returned to us this time they had damaged a cv joint whilst removing my gearbox!! Yes I've mostly had a courtesy car whilst mine is repaired... My car is an automatic transmission 4x4 which I need due to a disability I've been given tiny manual courtesy cars this time a 2 door fiat 500!!!!!!!!! Which I cannot even drive in fact I struggled to get into it!!! I refuse to speak to them my husband is now dealing with it as I've been patronised, ignored and humiliated by their staff! DO NOT BUY from this company they are a disgrace!

Service department always disappoints me. I take my car in for an agreed time, and it always comes back a least a day late!

Unfortunately, I have lost trust and faith in this company.

I Bought A Land Rover Discovery Sports Luxury From Sturgess Motor Group Leicester. After Buying With In Two Weeks A Noise Started in the vehicle,After that i took the vehicle back to Sturgess Motor they repair the vehicle while i was driving on the road same parts they repair broken and now they are not accepting there fault even my insurance company investigated and made a report which says its retailer at fault who sold the vehicle to me.
i have contacted them many times but they did not pay any attention to my query,even though i have contacted the branch manager Mike Wollacott by phone call and by emails he ignored me after receiving my emails and never replied my calls.
Sturgess Motor Group Leicester Intentionally sold me a faulty vehicle , Which already had the fault before it sold to me. I am very disappointed i will never ever deal with Sturgess Motors Leicester again and i do not recommend them as they dont care about there customers.i recommend every one else to beware of them.

I have an older Volvo and have been reluctant to pay the high costs of using a main dealer. Last week I needed a window regulator to be replaced and went to my usual garage. Whilst I still had to pay for the time, the technical skills and knowledge were obviously not there and their repair failed. I contacted Sturgess' in Almand Road, Leicester. Their Service department were absolutely excellent. Our car was duly collected and repaired with no fuss. The car came back spotless with not a mark on it to show that a repair had been done. The cost of the repair turned out to be less than my usual garage and had I have gone to Sturgess in the first place, I would have saved myself a considerable amount of money. Not always best to take the cheapest option as it could turn out to be the costliest if not not right.
