I visited this salon 5/6 times and every time I received different types of services. I usually do haircuts nothing else so donât bother searching for a new salon and go there. This time I came back without doing anything because of their poor service. I washed my hair this morning and went to the salon and asked for either drycut/ cut and blowdry. They said I have to book Wash cut and blowdry. I explained I washed it this morning so no point of washing my hair again you can spray water to wet them. They said no your hair is thick we need to wash them. So basically they are saying they need to wash my hair just to earn the money apart from the fact my hair is already washed. You canât wash hair multiple times right. I asked her last time you guys did drycuts and sprayed water to cut my hair sometimes as well. She replied thatâs not the rules. My hair is very thin now as itâs coloured and bleached. Donât know how she commented here itâs thick without even touching. But I clearly understood they wanted to make money here and not to take care of clientâs hair. And this happened after waiting for almost an hour for the service. I left the salon without doing anything and not gonna come back in future. Poor customer service and not recommended to anybody

Rude staff bad service
The booking system was not working correctly. Our booking with Claire for my son's hair cut was messed up by this. Instead of apologising for the error and asking us if we wanted to come back later, she grumbled and moaned about the system & not having any lunch and how her boss was due in and would take up her afternoon. She did my son's hair but continued to grumble about everything, consequently my son's hair is not what he asked for. She was passive aggresive and highly opininated and rude. My son is neurodivergent with severe anxieties and was too scared to say anything. We will never set foot in Supercuts again.
Lovely hairstylist, but wonky fringe
Hairstylist at Swindon was lovely and is always a joy. I enjoy going to the salon usually. Unfortunately this occasion, I donât know what happened. I went in for a fringe trim and a trim on my ends (I have a full fringe) and whilst in the salon my hair looked fine but when I got out I realised my fringe was wonky. Now waiting for it to grow out as it looks a little silly. Not a massive deal as it tends to grow back quick but I felt a little miffed at paying £22 for a fringe and hair trim for it not to be right. Just such a shame about the fringe, as the hairstylist was so lovely.

And at such a great price too, will definitely be back. Riaâs a credit to the team, thank you for giving me a wonderful haircut! :)

Understaffed, stupid QR code internet queuing implementation.
I visited the Hempstead Valley branch for the first time in around 20 years today as I was in the area with a few hours to kill and really needed my hair cut. There used to be a time when you could just walk in, ask how long the wait is and sit down for your turn. This time - âoh, you need to scan the QR code to book your slotâ. Scan the QR code? For a hair cut?! Iâd used up my data allowance for the month, so I had no internet so asked if I could book without it - âno, you need the internet to get a message when itâs your turnâ!! Arghhhh!!!
So instead of just walking in for a haircut, you now need a phone and the internet connected. Iâm pretty clued up with technology, but what happens if, say, an elderly person needs their hair cut now? Tough!
Also Iâve noticed at a different branch (I also used go to the Chatham branch a lot) that EVERY TIME Iâve gone for a cut the last 2-3 years that thereâs only one person working in there. The last 3-4 times Iâve been turned away as theyâre fully booked up. Well get some more staff!
So their marketing of âjust walk-inâ is nonsense and Iâm really surprised the Chatham branch is still making any money (Cellys is always packed out in comparison) and hasnât closed.
Either have set appointments like most professional hair salons, or use the old fashioned way of âjust walk-inâ where youâd be put on a list of it was busy. Having both systems at the same time doesnât work as with the latter people expect to just walk in and get a haircut fairly quickly instead of faffing around on their phone, then have to wait hours, or maybe even just get turned away completely.

I visited Supercuts Farnborough today the 24th of April 2024, after a very short wait, I was invited in polite and welcoming staff. When I was in the salon, my sister went off around town to do some shopping, I am visually impaired the lady who cut my hair was lovely she explained what she was doing and we had a lovely chat, will definitely be having my hair cut again here.

I booked , through your system , as I had used this several times successfully before. But for some reason, the Holloway branch don't seem to use the online queuing system... I waited over 30 mins after the system told me I was due. During this time at least 2 other people were served, before me, even though they arrived in the salon after me. . When I asked what had happened, the staff told me, rather rudely, that these people had been in earlier and returned for their appointment. I can only explain this through nepotism or misuse of the queue system... I shall NOT go again.

i visited your salon today around 11am with my toddler and newborn baby, i asked the young lady if they had any slots she said they have non for 3months which i found odd. So i walked out and i called the salon directly (i have put screenshots of my call list) so the same young lady magically offers me an appoint fof my child for tomorrow with 3 differ times and i went ahead and booked for 10am tomorrow (21/3/24).
I was very upset because it felt like she declined me an appointment because of how i look, maybe because i wear a hijab! So i went back to supercuts and confronted her, i went around 11.30am, the lady refused to give me her name and she rolled her eyes whilst i told her how i felt, she still declined an appointment so i walked out all frustrated, i then though i might have called the wrong branch so i called back and same young lady answered and confirmed it was the ilford xchanhe mall level 2 salon.
I am very appalled with the way I was treated i have 2 young girls who look up to all these young women" it's a shame it 2024 and there's still people like this! I definitely will not be using supercuts anymore! Such a shame as I've been a customer since age 11 myself and I am 31! 20yrs!!!

made my hair uneven as lady was rushing to close, took phone call in the middle of doing it and the ends of my hair is terrible. avoid it's in bedford in town, harper centre, a lady who made it seem like she didn't want to be there and was huffing and puffing whilst doing the crown of my hair.

Staff (both) very rude and I was accused of damaging the door when leaving - when I returned to ask them to delete my number (from a GDPR point of view ) from the system thatâs my right- this was refused - will be looking into this as well⊠two staff not wanting to do anything thatâs for sure !!
