Excellent products, fast delivery, highly recommended.

I've largely had excellent satisfactory dealings with this company. Amazing range of kit. Remains one of my favourite surplus kit suppliers, and I've ordered from then again this year too. Been shopping with them a couple of years or so now.
Update - Excellent contact back to communications sent by email just earlier on. Question posed answered. Obviously extremely knowledgeable and experienced staff in the military surplus supply trade, who deminstrate they keenly take a pride and intetest to attention and detail, in doing what they do as a business. Very professional and impressive. You can see evidence of this all in taking even a short time to navigate through their informative website.

Stumbled across this company by accident when searching for a gortex jacket and was really impressed at the range available and the prices.

Have ordered a couple of items from them and I'm very impressed with the service and speed of delivery.

One of the best companies I have bought from online - great quality surplus kit, communication regarding products - very helpful. Delivery next day never had a late delivery. Any problems are sorted out straight away {size issues, through my own fault} on the phone or via email

Ive been going to S&O for a few years now and its always great, really fast dispatch and delivery great customer service and aftersales, honestly hope to be a customer here for years more to come, its an absolutley excellent shop

Ordered a heavy duty compression sack - arrived as expected and was everything that I expected - will be used to compress a large wetsuit when going wild camping and river walking.
I would order again but I have not had to use their customer service so cannot comment on that aspect of it.

I have ordered some trousers worth 100 GBP on the 23rd June. It`s the 9th July and not yet received in Hungary. Firstly i was told by various employees that i can have a refund as their oversees colleague is on annual leave. My custom or customer satisfaction did not seem to matter. Will update once received if received at all, as Parcel Force stated, the wrong address was given to them, in Germany. I was a returning customer, but may have to look for another supplier next.

Have ordered from this company many times now, and it's always our first stop when looking for anything. They have consistently provided us with top quality items, and their customer service cannot be faulted. I placed an order a few weeks back, and after submitting it, realised I wanted to buy something else. I sent an email to see if I could combine the orders to save having to pay p&p twice, and received a reply and a number to call within minutes (even though it was a Sunday). I can't praise this company enough, except that they cost me a fortune as my hubby's constantly spending on their site!

I have had to open a Paypal claim to get my money back for an order for £45.98 placed on 16/11/2020 that has not arrived in 2 weeks. No tracking information supplied. Had to call the office and I have an email from them saying they will refund, but no refund received. Poor customer service.

Good quality on order & very swift delivery

My latest experience:
I ordered a dress cap. I was told that I should give it some days before it would arrive. I waited a week, and then per email asked for the tracking number. I got the reply that 'he could see it had not been shipped yet, so he would just cancel the order, so I could get a refund' - which was not at all what I asked for.
He then told me, that I could place the order again. Only this time, reality had it, that the cap was no longer in stock.

An, sort of, ongoing experince I have is, I would like to purchase a watch band, which was not in stock. So, I asked when it would come in stock again. I was told that they would email me, whenever it was back in stock. And either it has not returned to stock, or they have forgotten about me... It is at least half a decade ago.

If you can buy the things other places, I strongly encourage you to. The customer service is utter rubbish, and I do not understand how they can actually manage to have a business running, if they more or less at random cancel orders.

Following a problem with a couple of items I purchased Surplus and Outdoors were very understanding and refunded my payment.
I must say that this is a small business and they do look after there customers.

Brilliant price and service! I ordered knobs for my elderly campingaz Lagon cooker on Sunday evening and they arrived Tuesday. Months ago I could not find any in stock anywhere except campingaz who were charging approx £20. The knobs fit and my newer, bigger camping cooker is up for sale.

I purchased a Clansman Radio Rucksack. In the write up (since changed) it was described as NEW (took a photo to prove it). Item arrived very heavily used with spray adhesive all over the front of it. I sent photos and they said it was sold as USED. Not according to their description. I ended up taking it apart and sewing in new panels as I needed it for a display for the local Cadet Force. Their delivery time was good but whoever selected the item should have known better.
They have since changed their description to New or Used so best check before you buy.

I've bought stuff 3 times from them over the past months - good quality products, prompt delivery. I'll definitely buy from them again.

Looking for some ex Royal Navy trousers as they have the perfect waist, leg and bottom combination of sizes for me.

Good website, good price, express delivery. Only downside I wanted two pairs but they only had one, but money refunded immediately.
