Software didn't show all tabs, so I was not able too see if the TrackHat was actually working. Kudos to the TrackHat team thou. They tried to help as best they could, but looks like my PC is just too old.

No fuss delivery, quick and uneventful :). The product itself is fantastic (trackhat sensor v2), no matter what the lightning conditions are it works out of the box. I almost scratched the IR trackers out of my list as pain in the "you know what" but this product restored my faith in non-vr tracking. 10/10. No need for attaching anything to my headset / head, charging batteries, messing with cables etc. Just works.

A reasonably priced product that works very well.
I recommend this to all flight/space sims that don't use VR.
Using my new track sensor v2 every time I play Elite Dangerous in all different lighting, as long as you adjust the exposure in camera settings it works flawlessly.

It was a long (timewise) way down to South Africa, but the tracker is here. It works very well, better than my previous 2 models. One small point, if you have glasses on, it becomes a bit jerky turning your head. But perhaps it is moving my head and my eyes.

I have an 55” tv screen at 3 ft distance of mine face and i drive in a truck (ETS2). I have optimised the settings.
In dark situations, i need to hold mine hand above the camera at start up, other wise the preview is to dark.
When i look in the mirrors, i just turn mine head a little bit and i don’t need to turn mine eyes. I just look straight in to the mirrors. It feels very natural.

Excellent service and I just love their product. Simple to use and very simple to configure. It just works as advertised. This is the second time I buy their tracker and this is the best one yet.

I'm honestly quite confused as to why Trackhat does not get as much online attention as other head tracking solutions. The benefit of having a high quality camera with good software and robust head tracking algorithim in one package cant benover stated. Having no pre existing webcam myself, the v2 sensor was a great deal at under £100.

Due to some messing around with the software on my end the sensor started tracking off centre. I contacted trackhat and James got back to me instantly with a step by step solution. Very good customer support.

I have since calibrated to my liking and I am experiencing honestly flawless headtracking which has really enhanced my flight sim experience.

Excellent value. Good execution. All for under £100 in the sale. But would honestly be worth it at £120-£130.

I have been a repeat customer for years. I consistently return because of the affordable prices, great service and build quality. The sensors and the earlier clips are in 3d printed casings, which isn't the prettiest. However, they work exactly as they should and always exceed my expectations. I'm very glad I decided to switch to the sensor V2 after using the trackhat clip for years and years.
The new software provided is easy to use and makes the whole experience much more manageable (vs. setting up Opentrack on your own), even for newer users who have not used IR tracking before. This is a big improvement over the older Trackhat clips and modified PS3 camera, which were a hassle to get set up, but worked well once running.

Tipps for new users:

Avoid using in rooms with lots of mirrors (This isn’t an issue with the Sensor V2, only the older Setup)
If you are running into issues with wobbling and jittering, the exposure setting in the app likes to reset itself, overexposure means the sensor has a hard time detecting where your face ends.

Non avevo fatto prima questa esperienza ed è fondamentale per il volo simulato potere guardare di lato, soprattutto in atterraggio, nelle virate del sottovento e del finale per un corretto allineamento. Fantastico e senza avere berretti, occhiali o altro per sostenere i sensori!! Qualche difficoltà nella configurazione e forse bisognerebbe ridurre un po' in fabbrica la sensibilità ai Comunque ottimo acquisto, direi necessari per i simmer del volo!!

It took a long time for my order to arrive due to supply issues, but i got regular Emails about the situation. The owner offerd to refund fully because it took so long but im glad it i waited. The headtracker works really good, the program needs a little to get used to but does what its supposed to.

Works great. Fast shipping. This is my second Trackhat; I also had the previous, older version, but the new one is much better. Shipping to Germany didn't take long.

No 1 is always functionality, however service is a very close No 2 and this product/solution/company offers both and more.
I have used Tobii and TrackIR, the latter also a sound product for slower aircraft IL2. However of late I needed something that could work in brighter environments and without any head attachment.

Here I am now, feeling myself completely immersed with flying at a new level.

After I ordered, There was a slight delay due to difficulties in obtaining the required materials to make the device, however the Owner was straigh forward about this issue. I decided to wait a week extra and boy am I glade I did. The device works amazingly. It does exactly as I had hoped. Smooth tracking. I do have a TrackIR5 which I have used for many years, however having to have a piece of equipment wired to my head sometimes created issues for me. The track hat has solved this. Freedom to not have to remove anything from my body when I need to walk away from the PC is awesome.

Received my Trackhat V2 from GB to Canada. Happy with my purchase - it works well and tried it successfully with Arma (ok as infantry but especially useful with helicopter and such), also with Elite Dangerous. The sensitivity is customizable with opentrack program that comes with it.
