A reasonably priced product that works very well. I recommend this to all flight/space sims that don't use VR. Using my new track sensor v2 every time I play Elite Dangerous in all different light... ãã£ãšèŠã
No fuss delivery, quick and uneventful :). The product itself is fantastic (trackhat sensor v2), no matter what the lightning conditions are it works out of the box. I almost scratched the IR trackers... ãã£ãšèŠã

Lousy communication
Lousy communication until you write a bad review; then James will answer right away. James will answer questions before you purchase a product but not after he has your money. I ordered the Sensor V2, which has never worked right to this day. I also have 2 Clip Plusâ from him. They continue to lose battery charge and not last long. He certainly took the money right away out of my account on both purchases. I understand there was an issue with the Royal Mail, but an answer from James would have been nice. They want you to use their website chat, but you never get an answer on it. You donât get an answer on email either. I went under his Facebook page and asked a question under a post. He did answer there, but then wouldnât answer again when things still werenât working. I understand he is a small business, but his communication is horrible. There is no communication. I painstakingly went back and forth with him about the Sensor V2. There is no manual to show you anything about how to set it up, just a short video. Not everyone is a techy person. He requested videos and pictures, so I sent them. Still no response. Never have received any answer on the Clip Plus. James complained that I used one email in my household. Itâs under my wifeâs name and weâve used this email for 25 years with no problems from any company except his. This was just his way to get out of helping me. This email was even used on the purchases from him with no problems or questions. He answered right away when I submitted a bad review. He asked that I take it down and he would help. I took it down and no help. I had to get a bit nasty and tell him if he didnât answer by a certain time I would put the review back and take further action. He told me to ship everything back to him and he would refund me and will not provide any further support. Iâm not shipping anything back to him because I see some people didnât get a refund. I donât trust that he would refund me.
As you all can see by James' answer, he's rather rude and still is ignoring the problems with his equipment. He's only worried about our email. He surely used the email that he is complaining about for my purchases though. As you can also see, he is very quick to answer a bad review but won't answer after a purchase and won't tell you what you need to know to get equipment working.

Absolute rubbish
UPDATE- this business is run by a 12year old. Wish you put that much effort in replying to your customers, James, as much as you put in replying on Trustpilot reviews. First lying the review is not for this business as my order does not exist, now you changed to 4 emails being sent and I cannot read an email? I have a degree in IT I think it covers that.
Absolute rubbish product I could not setup. I've spent hours, countless emails to them not a single answer. Probably faulty sensors. Asked to return, no answer as usual. Got bank involved to eventually get my money back.
EDIT June '23- Yes I'm sure this review is for Trackhat, the head tracking products, and yes same James signed the email to confirm my purchase, also a few weeks later when I asked why my order was delayed.

Another person feeling swindled
I to am one of those sorry individuals who is waiting for my product after paying this company my hard earned money. It would appear the problem with this company is is that Lazy Business Owner (LBO for short due to a complaint of using names when this man puts his name on everything for his business) is a very lazy and selfish individual. You see LBO likes to claim all his delays are caused by the Royal Mail. The issue with that would be its a flat out lie! You see in order for that to be LBO issue, LBO would have to actually be shipping his product out within a timely fashion! The sad truth is that it is pretty obvious LBO would rather wait until it is convenient for him to ship this out. Problem is LBO , your customers donât want to wait on âyour convenienceâ we want what we payed for as fast as you can get it to us. I am sure LBO will reply to this posted public review much faster then my private support ticket submitted days ago.

LBO has replied to my post. The issue with LBO's reply is that there is a consistent track record of this issue if you check the reviews. I understand being a small business owner, as I am one myself. I respect the small business owner that respects their customers tremendously. The issue is that LBO does not. Again, I sent in a support ticket 3 days ago asking for an update but got 0 response. It was not until I posted a public review that I received ANY form a communication. Perhaps the automated email function on shipment is not working? I checked my inbox and spam folders etc...its not there at all.
Additionally, while I appreciate the prompt reply (now that its public); however, you just posted a link that will contain sensitive PII as it is updated with my address on a public review site. Are you trying to dox your customers?

Great wireless ir tracking solution
This is an awesome product. I was switching over from my Tobii to TrackIR as I found that it was smoother and more accurate than Tobii. The only gripe that I had was that track IR was not wireless. And that is where Track hat comes in.
Track hat fixed everything, having something wireless is very important to me and also as accurate as the included tracker that comes for the headset from track IR. And it's lightweight if you don't even notice it on the headset. The construction quality is perfectly adequate and it has worked perfectly since I bought it about 60 days ago.
The battery seems to last around 8 to 10 hours depending on how much I am using it insert an applications.
The only gripe I can say is that the included Velcro that attaches to your headset is really only good for one or two uses before you would consider replacing it with something a little bit stronger. While I am sure most people attach it once and charge their headset and their track hat together, there were times I wanted to charge the track at separate from the headset as my headset battery lasts double the amount of the time.
But honestly I am just nitpicking. This is a great product and I would recommend it 100% to anyone looking for a wireless solution to pair with track IR or I am sure track has included IR camera system.

I have ordered from trackhat a couple of times, a camera and clip, and most recently a wireless rechargeable clip. I can seem to remember shipping taking a little longer than i thought it should, but over all, good products, good service.

For a small company they certainly make a great product. Well made 3d printed device with quality construction.
Software really easy to setup and configure.
Integrates into DCS World with no issues.

Ho acquistato il track hat V2. Ma non c'e un minimo di istruzione in Italiano. Tuttavia ho provato a fare dei settaggi con scarsi successi e ho disinstallato tutto. Inoltre per "colpa" della Brexit ho anche dovuto pagare 33 euro di spese doganali. Ovviamente per quest'ultimo aspetto non ha nessuna colpa Track hat.org. Però....

Lack of support and communication
When I ordered the communication was lacking, when I then had issues, and the product stopped working, they said they did no longer support the version I had bought 1 year earlier, and that I should solve the issue my self.
I would highly recommend spend a few extra and get TrackIR 5 . You don't have to go thru this hassle and a waist of money.

I bought the trackhat in 2020 and had I great customer experience starting from the payment and extended to shipping and after receiving the item. The team was professional and covid had a minimum affect. The product is perfect which led me to jump to the opportunity to use V2. Cant wait to receive it.

Dal TRACKHAT precedente c'Ú un netto miglioramento, non si Ú vincolati da fili, cuffie o capellini vari. Basta scaricare il software TRACKHAT 3 e accendere il rilevatore . Tutto qui.
Avendo in passato già acquistato da voi un Trackhat opentrack ( modello con videocamera playstation 3 e visore da cuffie) mi sento di lasciare un Feedback positivo su questo nuovo modello appena uscito. Devo dire che dopo 15 giorni che lo utilizzo mi sono trovato benissimo senza dover cambiare le impostazioni di default. La lettura del volto Ú precisa con qualsiasi luminosità , con cuffie o senza non ci sono problemi,la libertà dello visione Ú ottima. Io lo uso x il 2 Sturmovik, DCS, ArmA3 sia in fanteria o su elicotteri ed aerei e sono molto soddisfatto. Il prezzo Ú buono (euro 136,00 circa), anche se la spedizione in Italia, tramite posta, mi Ú costata ulteriori euro 33,00 per dogana? al momento della consegna. Consigliato per gli appassionati di simulazione aerea ,o di guida.
Sensor v2
Delivery was longer than stated on website when I paid for the sensor v2 but once it arrived and set up I'm very happy with it. It takes longer to setup than normal head tracking but the freedom of movement is much better and no annoying clip to worry about.
