Cannot fault anything about UNCLE Deptford. The flats are beautiful and fantastic quality, and management is so friendly, responsive and organised, working hard to create a positive and welcoming environment. Annabelle has been especially helpful, going beyond to make us feel at home. Thank you!

Have stayed for two months at UNCLE Deptford and it’s been so lovely! The flat is spacious, and the room designs are modern & pretty. Everything’s organised well & the team are friendly and helpful! Honestly feels like the perfect home away from home for me :)

I moved in about 3 weeks ago. The UNCLE team in Deptford have been so helpful. Communication has been clear, prompt and easy. The flat and furniture is lovely and best of all the co-living spaces and social events create a great living experience. Highly recommended.

Very happy with my decision to move to UNCLE Deptford. It’s a lovely complex with great co-working space, clean and spacious communal areas and outdoor spaces. The flats are high spec, spacious and I’m really enjoying living here. The staff here are friendly and welcoming particularly John who always greets me with a smile. It’s a convenient commute to my work in the city of London, so I highly recommend it.

It is safe to say that in a short space of time we feel very at home at Uncle Deptford. The team truly go above and beyond to look after you. Every single one. They are quick to action queries and always smiling, especially John and the girls on the desk who brighten up our day! Clean, spacious complex, great commute options. Perfect for anyone looking for a sanctuary in busy London.
Fantastic experience so far, happy I moved here
I’ve been living at UNCLE Deptford for three months now and I have absolutely loved my experience.
The building itself is relatively near to multiple train and tube stations, so getting around is pretty easy.
The apartments are spacious, well-fitted and competitively priced. Also, due to the triple
glazing, they are so quiet that you forget that you’re actually in an apartment block sometimes.
The staff are extremely friendly and competent at what they do, and really focus on driving community within the residents, which adds to the homely feel (e.g. John, the maintenance officer for the building, who always sorts out any issues within hours)
There is a post room on site, where your post is automatically sorted for you, which is so helpful. There’s even a workspace on site, fully equipped with meeting rooms, phone booths and a pantry for some brain fuel or late night snacks!
I love living here and it’s had a positive impact on my mental health, really happy that I decided to move here.

spoke to a woman over a phone to get help in regards to perspective studio that i've booked. she pushed back, asked to call back later, tone was very unwelcoming and unprofessional. eventually, started arguing and shouting at me

Uncle Deptford
I've been thoroughly enjoying my experience with Uncle Deptford. It's clear they've thoughtfully designed every aspect of the tenant journey, from the viewing (shoutout to Safiah for her patience) to the move-in (thanks to Annabelle for the snazzy trolley) and even the aftercare (the welcome card was a cute touch, the follow-up emails with useful guides were so thoughtful, etc.). The flats are equipped with energy-efficient features and elegantly furnished by BoConcept. It's November and I still haven't turned on the heating - and I was born in Brazil!
I probably spend more time in the coworking space than at home but it's not as sad as it sounds because it's absolutely GORGEOUS, even the toilet. Seriously. There are snacks provided by Pantree which I know will ruin my bank account... Only problem is that the chairs are too pretty to be comfortable=/ Ah! Their internet providers Ask4 do not have great reviews either, but so far only one day with slow internet.
All the staff is very helpful and friendly, including the contractors finishing the new build to the resident dog Maya <3
But I'll stop here because I want to be able to afford this next year haha.
Uncle Colindale, 10/10 service from the team
I’ve been living at Uncle Colindale for a year and a half, and it’s honestly felt like home from day one. Everyone here, especially Serina, Mavis, Annabelle, Taher, and the repairs team are amazing! Walking in and having them know me and my dog by name gives such a community vibe. They’re genuinely warm, always up for a chat, and are super accommodating when scheduling inspections.
Though I haven’t needed many repairs, the one time I did, the team was there within hours…super efficient! Also, moving within the building was a breeze. Thanks to Serina and Taher, I found a perfect flat to swap to in no time, and the contract was all set in days. Zero hassle, stellar support from the team!
The gym, co-working space and garden are always clean and fully functional, making the whole experience here at Uncle very enjoyable. Thanks to the whole team for being so kind and friendly!

They are very prompt
They are very prompt, helpful and polite. The building and the apartments are well constructed, well maintained, of a very decent quality and is supervised by a courteous and disciplined staff. Living amenities are immaculate and modern.

The team is great and super responsive, they keep the common facilities in great order and very promptly help with any apartment issues. The flats in Colindale are also in great condition!
Leeds Uncle
Leeds Uncle - Constant issues with the General Manager. He’s rude, arrogant, patronising and has zero interpersonal skills. His team are clearly not trained and have no idea about anything because I was constantly given different information or no information…“I’ll find out for you” is their slogan. I wasn’t told about pretty much anything including the water situation, that none of the facilities were open until next year, how to enter my building, how to move in…everything! Even the signs around the building are wrong. The buttons in the lift don’t match the floor signs. It’s not worth £500 a month never mind £1210.
I left the flat within their 2 week “try before you rent” policy and because it took them so long to end my contract that they started sending me threatening emails saying I’ll still have to pay rent even though I’ve left.
Also, had a leaking toilet that they couldn’t fix and charged me a ridiculous amount for a faulty induction hob that I was blamed for.
The GM 100% needs firing and he’s refused to give me his manager’s details which is very convenient. Like he said to me “I have the final say”.
Wouldn’t waste your sanity on Leeds Uncle.

Uncle Deptford, Unprofessional Resident Team, Avoid.
Recently moved in, and the experience is quite miserable.
TLDR: 1. Resident/Leasing team is very unprofessional/unfriendly/arrogant.
2. Terrible move-in experience.
3. Intrusive engineering team.
4. Quality of flat is decent (Probably the only up side, at least for now).
Now let's start with the resident team shall we? My goodness the way they talk made me feels like they are the tenant instead of me. Before I was even moving in, every time I gave them a call to discuss about my upcoming contract in terms of how the payment and move-in process works, I can literally felt their impatience and arrogance in the way they spoke, and their team manager is even worse. It surely didn't make me feel like they care about the company or something, they just simply want to get their job done. If you are curious how unfriendly they are, simply give uncle deptford a call, and you will see what I mean.
In short, I felt like the current resident team at Uncle Deptford are from some third party agencies instead of a direct Uncle employees, hence I can felt they don't really care about company and the resident experience at all, I might be wrong but at least it made me feel that way which is warning sign already.
I had been living in London for more than 7 years now, and Uncle Deptford had given me probably the worst move-in experience I ever had since. I'm not going into too much details in this matter since this might varies between each individual resident.
Let's close it up with with how their team mange maintenance and engineering works.
In general the team are responsible for giving notices when there are situations about inspections or maintenance works. And I had noticed some rare occasions where engineer will enter straight into our flat (they had the backup key access) without us receiving any notices at all! Although this issue is not happening all the time otherwise it would be a criminal, but I found it annoying enough to be mentioned here for people to be aware of.
Now it's been couples weeks since my family had moved in, there are so many downsides about Uncle Depford right now. Probably the only good thing I can talk about is the quality of their apartment flat, design is modern and clean, facilities is well-rounded where you got dishwasher, internet, fridge, water everything setup already which is quite convenient. However, the price is not cheap either, for this amount of money you paid, this is what you would be expecting in London, so this is nothing special about them.
Overall, would at least still give it a 2 stars for now, since the quality of this building is still top notch, this review may change in the future if they somehow manage to find a better resident team and manager, but for now definitely would NOT recommend.

Uncle Wembley is the best!
We have been living in Uncle Wembley with my wife since May 30, 2024. We were going to rent from the company that also has many buildings in Wembley before, but we gave up immediately because of their unprofessional approach and rented from Uncle Wembley. Jamie, Kelly, Nicole and Ornella are wonderful people. They find solutions to all your problems immediately. We have been living here for 3 months and we are very happy so far.
I lived at this property for a year
I lived at this property for a year, and the experience was far from satisfactory. In June, my housemate and I were locked out of our house on a Saturday night due to a lock failure. We had no choice but to sleep on the floor outside our house. The next day, we had to pay £300 for a locksmith to fix the issue, as it was clearly a building fault.
Southall promised to reimburse us for the locksmith cost, but now, 4 months later, we are still waiting. Despite multiple emails and follow-ups, there has been no response or refund. This level of customer service is extremely disappointing and unacceptable. I would not recommend living here if you're looking for prompt communication or support from management.

Absolutely Horrible Manager
Absolutely horrible Managers. Me and a friend have been looking for a place for a while and have to move in the first week of October and we finally decided to go ahead with Uncle Living Southall . I personally visited the property twice and spoke to the person showing my the property. He was absolutely incredible and genuinely very very nice. Once we said yes to the property and no to two others which we had kept as our other options and sent some of our details to them. Next day the property manager calls up my friend and tells her that even though we both have well earning guarantors and are only renting for 6 months , they need us to pay the rent for 6 months upfront. Opposite to what I had been told during both my viewings with them and their official email with all the details about their property. When I tried contacting them they didn’t even pick up atleast 15 times. Then the guy who had showed me around called me and upon being confronted about the misinformation from his side, the confusion and the problem it was causing me and my friend, all he said was sorry. When I asked for either a solution, a negotiation or a compensation for the inconvenience it caused us making us lose two other properties and leaving us with only a couple of weeks to find a new place, he still just said sorry. So I asked to speak to the person who had called my friend; the property manager. This person calls me up angrily saying how dare I get upset with his employee. He would cut all my sentences and when I asked him not to do so, he said he will and I need to listen to him. When I proved to him that this was all his employee’s fault and that had caused all the confusion and frustration, he did not pay any attention to it and proceed to tell me how it was all my fault. I told him I never intended to get upset at his employee, I actually liked him , but this mistake of his was costing us time , money and two houses! He still did not care and was upset I was “pointing fingers”! I was ready to even apologise to his employee if he could give me any solution or resolution now whatever but he still was mad at me and blamed me for everything. I appreciate him defending his employee , but doing it at the cost of someone else and when it definitely was his employee’s mistake is absolutely not ok.
