Booked accommodation on Vacansoleil.co.uk website in Amadria Camping Park, Trogir, Croatia after seeing an advertisement on their website stated as ,,Super Lodge Simple Terrace’’ and photos of mobile homes in the accommodation description but no details of the type of accommodation.
In the invoice and booking confirmation e-mail the accommodation is stated as an apartment but in the Vacansoleil account I found photos of a tent.
Thought I booked a mobile home and to my disbelief it was a tent.
I have contacted the company, Vacansoleil and the mother company Maeva to request either a refund or a change in the accommodation type but only got e-mails in 3 different languages and a complete denial of any kind of amendment but only blaming the customer.

Really every one I spoke to on the camp was not happy about this stupid regulations NOT ALLOWED SWIMMING WITH SHORTS. every where I went in the world you can swim in shorts apart from france.

Very nice camp with stupid swimming regulation. wake up people its 2023.

Bourkini by the way not just for Muslims ok , as some non muslim women wear it true to skin extreme sensitivity.
NEVER GO BACK TO FRANCE AGAIN.

Not sure why we had to enter booking details but then speak to operator to confirm booking.

I've used Vacansoleil for a number of years and have never had any issues with any of the bookings , the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable and the whole process is pain free.
The only possible downside is that it's not possible to complete the full booking digitally, but this is a minor quibble

Everything is great but you need to add on-line credit card payment as making payments by telephone calls and sharing credit card info by phone is not a good option.

Very easy to book on line,and when the gentleman called to confirm the booking he was friendly,efficient and helpful. Thank you

There was nothing wrong with the booking experience but it could be better and not paying at the point of confirmation is 'clunky' by usual online standards.
We tried to book at tent to be told it was nor available so booked a more expensive safari tent. The next day when vacansoleil called promptly to take payment I was told I'd made 2 bookings! At least I was given the choice as to which to proceed with

Searching worked, as did seeing options for availability.
Booking was fine, although I still don't like the booking fee (it masks actual cost) and the website gave wrong information for date of final payment. The agent noted but was powerless. None the less, it was quick and effiecent (hence 4 not 5)

Easy booking process but missing one star because it’s an absolute pain that you can’t book towels and linen unless you book 6 weeks before. I’m sure this could be easily remedied and it would make such a massive difference to ease of holiday.

Very bad. Because no confirmation was sent to mail address when I did the booking. And then it was requested with suspicious email to pay it through phone call. Which I find very insecure. So for me it is nit trustworthy website and company.

The online booking was not working correctly, I phoned the office based in Ireland and they could not have been more helpful and friendly. Have been with them before and will remain loyal because off their customer care and the quality of holidays

It was great to be able to talk to a human being during the booking process as I am always nervous if everything is automated. The lady I talked to made the process enjoyable.

Finding sites to stay in on the web was easy, getting confirmation we had booked and paying the deposit was much more troublesome.

Took several calls to pay the deposit and a few days to receive the confirmation - not great when we also needed to book flights etc.

easy booking experience with good communications for payment options.

I had no issues at all. Fair price goes with decent service as I had used their booking portal before.

Frustrating having to call an international number to pay - would prefer an online option.
