La cioccolateria è il loro mestiere e su questo non ci piove! Ma l'assistenza post vendita su un problema di confezionamento capitatomi non è stata da meno!

Right after placing the chocolate in your mouth, at first it feels like a smooth kind of bittersweet rock. Yet, soon after it begins to melt, its constitution changes to a muddy structure with a sweet taste, like spring flowers. Shortly after hints of vanilla floated throughout the whole mouth cavity, alternating with gentle waves of crème de cacao. Then, when the piece had almost completely melted, images of mountains where a gentle breeze rocked sunflowers hither and thither appeared in my mind. Upon complete disintegration of the chocolate and its disappearance from my mouth, an aftertaste came in autumn colours with tastes of nuts and honey.

Ordered a dark chocolate egg from the water colour collection. Yes i did buy it off amazon on the venchi store. While it was boxed and packaged nice.

I paid £45 for this sair egg too. When it came to opening the egg it was shatterd and broken in pieces & the gift i got was an absolute joke. A key chain really.

Im a lover of Italian chocolate but this was a huge disappointment on the latter i mentioned. I definitely wont be purchasing an easter egg of here again. They should check the quality of the egg before it gets posted or better still use better packaging as that plastic mould the egg was in did not save my egg from breaking into many pieces. As for the gift i thought it be a lot better for the price i payed and you just put cheap tat in there

I am absolutely delighted with my experience with Venchi! The products are of the highest quality and have enchanted my palate every time. The delivery was prompt and the packaging was carefully designed to ensure the freshness of the products. But the best part was the outstanding customer service! Terrible experience. Sent my sister chocolates for her birthday. Was meant to be delivered by 14th Feb and today a week later she hasn’t received anything and venchi US customer care won’t respond to emails. I even tried to contact them via their social media handles but received no response. I have finally had to raise a dispute with my credit card company. Such a shame! Do not recommend. Unreliable and incompetent

I had a bit more time than usual waiting for my connection in the Santa Maria Novella train station in Florence, and thought I would take a look at the Venchi shop in the station. I am a sort of gourmet when it comes to chocolate, and had never considered Venchi to be anything special, but their shop presented themselves as such.

I went to their large selection of chocolate tablets, many of which looked quite appealing, and then my gaze fell on a 60% dark mint chocolate. I adore mint chocolate, so that decision was easy. The bar looked rather thick and I was worried it might be filled with the horrible goopy white cream that many mint chocolates turn out to be. But I was pleased to discover that the bar was solid chocolate.
That was the first and last bit of pleasure. Even though the date of expiry was in April of 2025, meaning that the bar should have been produced recently, it had the rather brittle texture of a chocolate that had been too long on the shelf. Strange considering that they list both sunflower and soy lecithin (not a good sign) in the ingredients. But even that I could have forgiven, if not for the fact that one had to use great effort to distinguish that there was mint in that chocolate. Instead, the overall taste was of a mediocre 60% bar without either the taste or texture of a quality chocolate. It was a real disappointment as I would have loved to find something to compete with my present mint chocolate, a French organic brand that is quite hard to find.

The conclusion is that I haven't had an experience that would inspire me to try any more of their chocolate and that has strengthened my conviction that often an expensive presentation indicates that money is more used on promotion than the actual product.

If you are in US, don't purchase online!!!! It is clearly said that on their website "With regard to orders placed online, unless otherwise stated on the website, the products shipped have a remaining shelf life of at least 6 months." . BUT all items I received the remaining shelf life is in 3~4 months (I ordered full price items which is not stated as short-dated or sale) and some already have sugar bloom! When I contacted customer service, they said their quality guarantee policy only applies to Europe and doesn't apply to US - "Have a wonderful day and thank you for being a customer."

Wow, I guess they just dump their short-dated products which cannot sell at full price in Europe to US market!

Dopo il pranzo di Natale, dopo la cena della Vigilia, prima del Cenone di Capodanno, ci può essere ancora lo spazio per un cioccolatino? Si, se è di Venchi! E se è accompagnato anche dalla simpatia dei suoi commessi, come Leo del negozio in Cordusio, ci torno anche due volte.

Ho avuto un problema causato dal corriere. Ho contattato l’assistenza cliente e hanno gestito con cortesia, gentilezza e tempestività il disguido risolvendolo nel migliore dei modi confermando la serietà dell’azienda

I bought two boxes from (admittedly) a very expensive shop. They have reduced one of the boxes by 50% but I paid £12 for the other. The quality of the chocolate simply isn't good enough for the money. It's a shame because they seem to be trying to do something positive (I don't want palm trees to be cut down for chocolate) but the quality needs to be higher. The chocolate, whilst quite tasty, does not melt at the correct temperature i.e. in the mouth, which is the sign of a good chocolate. So instead of being able to let it melt away satisfyingly, it has to be chewed and just ends up being a lumpy cold mess in the mouth. It has a rich taste to it, so it's probably made very ethically with as little processing as possible but most people will ignore that and just be disappointed with the overall experience. If the manufacturers could alter the consistency, this would be a better chocolate. Perhaps they could try and match Lindt chocolate and put themselves in the same bracket? More advertising about their ethical practice would help, I wasn't aware of this before reading response to reviews here. This was going to be a one star review until I understood what one of the problems might be. People will pay more for ethical chocolate because obviously there will be a higher cost. Another suggestion : have a fun box of orangutan chocolates to highlight the creatures you are trying to save?
