The video project is a newer type of project for us and the volume of submissions took more time than anticipated to get through, in addition to the volume of inquiries. We are working hard to improve these processes so that people don't have to wait so long to hear back.

We've spoken with the team and your files have been approved by Voices, but still need to be approved by the end client. Once we hear back from the client, we will process all approved files for payment as soon as possible.

Please also be assured that we are not using anyone's voice or image in any way outside of what is clearly laid out in the job description and the job agreement and would not use any files without proper payment. We take our commitment to this very seriously.

We appreciate your work and patience with the project. Due to its large scope, communicating every step is difficult but we will do our best to be as transparent as possible.

The video project is a newer type of project for us and the volume of submissions is taking more time than anticipated to get through, in addition to the volume of inquiries. We are working hard to improve these processes so that people don't have to wait too long to hear back.

We've spoken with the team and your files are still in the approval process, including needing to be approved by the end client. Payment would follow 60 days after approval by the client, which was covered in the agreement. One of our team members has reached out to you to communicate this as well.

Please also be assured that we are not using anyone's voice or image in any way outside of what is clearly laid out in the job description and the job agreement. We take our commitment to this very seriously.

We apologize again that this process has been frustrating for you, and we very much appreciate your patience.

The video project is a newer type of project for Voices with a very high volume of submissions to get through. The team is working hard to get better processes into place - we know what you've experienced is frustrating.

By now, you should have received an updated communication on payment - we've checked with the team and they have it as scheduled for July 14. We do apologize for the longer timeframe, but you will definitely be paid. The referral bonus will be paid out separately but around the same time.

Hi Margie - thank you for letting us know.

We've looked into this and it looks like part of the address you included when creating an account is on our list of sanctioned countries.

Voices has to suspend any account associated with sanctioned countries in order to comply with both Canada's Special Economic Measures Act (SEMA) and US federal law with the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) sanctions list. Talent located in Venezuela no longer have access to Voices. We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience.

We're sorry to hear that your experience with Voices was not a positive one. The video project is a newer type of project for Voices and the volume of submissions took more time than anticipated to get through. In addition to that, the specs for the submissions were extremely precise, which meant some files were sent back needing revisions.

Those who have participated in the project have received communication around payment.

As we don't have access to your contact information, we recommend reaching out to support@voices.com if you have any further concerns around your files, but if you requested that they be deleted, the team takes that very seriously and will ensure that takes place. For those who are interested in voice over work, we do have a free guest membership, which gives you the opportunity to build up your profile on our website, upload unlimited demos, and receive private invites to jobs.

The best way to maximize these opportunities is to fully fill out your profile and add high-quality demos so that clients can see what you're capable of. Both your profile and your demos are essential to success on Voices.

Once you feel you're ready to move to the next level, our premium membership, which does come with a cost, provides daily job opportunities that match a talent’s profile and skill set, sent to the talent directly. Talent on our platform find a great deal of value in what we provide and find this to be a highly efficient way to book work. The membership fee also ensures that the premium talent on Voices are at the professional level required to meet the needs of clients.

For talent who are just getting started, we offer help and resources at both www.voices.com/help and www.voices.com/resources. Our YouTube channel also has hundreds of videos on everything from setting up a home studio, to the best microphones, to how to submit a strong audition. These might all be helpful to you.

It can take some specific strategies even for professional voice actors to be successful on the platform.

Thank you for your feedback and for your patience while we looked into this.

It's a bit of a strange situation as, according to our records, you do not currently have a profile active on Voices and have not logged in to your account since October 2019. As you're not currently active on the site, you don't have any jobs or messages in your account.

Voices does not send out job invitations to anyone not currently active on our platform, and we would not allow anything like this to be posted on our site.

Based on this, we believe you were sent some sort of spam, not something that was legitimately from Voices.

If you do receive anything like this in the future, please feel free to email support@voices.com and we can have our IT team look into what is happening.
