Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We're very sorry to hear that you have not received information about payment for this project.

We've checked with our team and it appears that you were hired for this project through a studio. According to our records that work was paid out, so you would need to reach out to the studio directly for payment.

This was a new type of project for Voices and there were definite challenges in fielding the high volume of submissions and questions as well as with the payment process. We recognize this and we are working on solving these issues and ensuring the system is much improved for the future.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. Keep in mind that it can take some time on Voices to start to book work, and it can be more challenging with a guest membership.

To make sure that your profile and demos are tagged appropriately, more help can be found in our Help Center at: https://www.voices.com/help/knowledge/faq/talent-profiles and there are other articles there too that are helpful for talent starting out.

We also have the Resources Center, which contains The Beginner's Guide to Voice Acting - you might find that useful - https://www.voices.com/resources#talent

Our YouTube channel is another place that has hundreds of videos geared to help talent get the proper studio set-up and audition effectively - it can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/c/voices.

The guest membership provides the opportunity for private invitations, but our premium membership, which does come with a cost, provides daily job opportunities that match a talent’s profile and skill set, sent to the talent directly. Talent on our platform find a great deal of value in what we provide and find this to be a highly efficient way to book work. The membership fee also ensures that the premium talent on Voices are at the professional level required to meet the needs of clients.

The video project is a newer type of project for us and the volume of submissions took more time than anticipated to get through, in addition to the volume of inquiries. We are working hard to improve these processes so that people don't have to wait so long to hear back.

We've spoken with the team and your files have been sent to the end client and we are waiting on approvals from them. Once we hear back from the client, we will process all approved files for payment as soon as possible.

We appreciate your work and patience with the project. Due to its large scope, communicating every step is difficult but we will do our best to be as transparent as possible.

For future projects, we are working on making the submission process even easier and clearer, to save those who are submitting work and time. We are also working to make the corrections process smoother, so people are kept up-to-date on their submission status.

We’ve spoken to our team and it looks like your first submission of videos was not accepted because the files were not 4K and 60FPS, which was a requirement. We then sent through a request for corrections and your second submission was also not accepted because the files weren’t 4K.

While our team wants to approve as many files as possible, the requirements of 4K, 60FPS video, low background noise, and good lighting indoors and outdoors were not negotiable. We’re only able to approve and pay for files that meet the requirements.

We hope this makes sense, and we wish you all the best.

Hi Dale,

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're sorry to hear that you weren't happy with the experience you had on Voices. We looked further into where you might have seen £15,000 per hour to read online books and that amount per hour is very unusual and not something that would be on our site. We do have an audiobooks category as well as an online ad category, in addition to a variety of other types of jobs. When someone signs up as a talent, we ask them as part of the onboarding process to check off the types of voice over skills they have so we can match them to the right jobs.

We also have a help center at www.voices.com/help, which provides articles on how to set up your profile and upload demos so that you're matched to the jobs you're more interested in. Any strange jobs on the site or things that don't look right can be reported and our team will look into them and remove anything that shouldn't be there. Our support team can also be reached at support@voices.com.

Thank you for your feedback. Although you did not include very much information in your review, we looked into your case on our end and we see that you submitted files for the video project run by Voices.

While we wanted to approve as many files as possible, the requirements of 4K, 60fps video, low background noise, and good lighting indoors and outdoors were not negotiable. A member of our team has now emailed you directly.
